Apprentices and Friends

I looked as the first one was called,Cometfall was his name.I had a huge crush on him,and I watched as his dark blue eyes sparkled,as Otter,his new mentor greeted him.They walked off into the open hole and stepped to the side.Then,my friend Hibiscus was called,her new mentor was Kōri,who greeted her.They did the same as the first pair,disappearing to the side.

"Rocket,your new mentor will be....Tide.Muttered the Queen.

A bright orange Skywing with dark green eyes stepped on the ledge facing a medium blue Seawing who had a scar on her left eye.She was one of the oldest soldiers in the community.Rocket and his mentor disappeared,after they greeted each other.

"Aqua,your new mentor will be....Jasmine."

A blue Rainwing,with a gentle smile on her face,approached the small turquoise Seawing female who greeted her,warmly.They stepped outside.Then there was my other friend Terraria,who shivered as she walked up to her new mentor Cardinal,who greeted her.Smoke flared out of his nostrils,as they stepped outside.

"Cactus,you will be mentored by Nightshadow."Said the Icewing,standing straight,her tail flicking.

Cactus,who was my 3rd friend,stepped up to the ledge,while my father made his way past me,brushing his scales against mine.He looked at me out of the corner of his eye,then headed on until he reached the edge.They greeted each other.The ceremony went on.Cactus,Hibiscus,Terraria,and I sat on the ledge.

"Terra,are you excited about our patrol?" Asked Hibiscus,her scales changing gold and yellow.
"No....." Terraria hissed.
"Awww,your such a sore frog."
"Hmph." Terraria replied,putting her snout in the air.
While,Hibiscus and Cactus were laughing at Terra's facial expression,I turned to look back at Queen Scarlet,who was coming slowly out of the shadows,towards us.

"What are your comrades laughing at?"The queen asked me.
"Terra's facial expression,your majesty."I replied.
"Which one is this Terra dragon?"Point her out."The queen commanded.
"The Mudwing,ma'-"I said before being cut off
"Your friends must think this program is a joke."The queen commented before storming over.

I gulped.
