I hop in the taxi and tell him the destination, which was a shopping centre more into the city.
5 minutes of driving and the taxi comes to a stop, I pay the money and get out of the car. Excitement fills my body as I enter the massive shop, but I firmly calm down as I enter one place I adore called Dorothy Perkins.
I stay stood in my spot, as I looked around the room. Puzzled on where to look first. I made my way towards a few beautiful hot pink dresses at the corner of the shop, I put my hand out to grab one. But someone did so first. I look up to see a small brunette staring at me. "Oh im so sorry, you should take that one." She said. Handing the dress to me, I rejected.
"No its fine, you can have it. I'll look somewhere else." I smiled faintly. Turning to look elsewhere.
"Wait! Er-um, Im Maggie." I looked back round to her and smiled again. I just have some strange feeling that Ive seen her before, I don't know why. I just do.
"...Im Pria, erm have we met before?" I replied.
"We used to be bffs in middle school?" She said. My brain clicked as I remembered us as little kids, so many years since now.
"That seems like ages ago! Omg!" I said, pulling her in for a hug as she set the dress back onto the hook.
"So what are doing shopping over here in London?" She asked as we sat on a bench outside the shop.
"Well...you see, Im going on a date tonight. And im looking for something to wear for it."
"Really? Oh I know the perrrfect dress in this shop that I love! Come with me!" She squealed quietly, leading me by the arm playfully.
She finally brought me New Look, showing me the way up to women's wear and picked out this lovely red wine colour skater dress which I completely adored already.

My mouth fell agape as I brought my hand up to cover it, I picked out my size and lay the dress over my body to see what it was like in size.
"Perfect." She smiled. Her glossy eyes glaring at me.
I quickly ran over to the dressing room and found a spot to get changed in, once I closed the door I got undressed and pulled the dress over my body. Perfect. My figure reflected in the mirror in front of me and the dress was beautiful.
I opened the door to Maggie standing there, stunned.
"Lemme tell you something, you're gonna smash it tonight." She finally spoke, pulling me into a tight hug.
