(cover entry and walkthrough)
So, um, before I show the cover, I decided I'd do a sorta cover walkthrough type thing. A few people have asked me to make a cover tips/tutorial book and I have to be honest, I wouldn't post a bunch of stuff only because there are already so many cover tips books out there (which would be better than one I'd open, haha) and everything I'd explain would just be repeated. So I decided that I'd just show you my process of making a cover.
I also didn't want to make a tutorial type book because everything I do is purely random. Sorta a "go with the flow" type thing and I know this is probably going to be hard to explain... But anyways, let's get to it 😅

I usually start off by going on WeHeart it and look for random textures (and usually get distracted by funny tumblr posts, lol) I think will go with my cover and my main focus (which is going to be the Scarlet Witch because she is amazing). Then I go onto Superimpose.

When I get there, I usually just open a a blank black or white background (I use it as a transitioning type thing).

After that, over the black background (which seems sorta useless sometimes since I end up covering it up completely to start with, lol) I usually pick a texture to fill up the background as my "starting texture" and just add to it.
It usually starts off like this:

And ends up like this: (it's not the biggest difference, but I swear I added stuff!)

Following that, I add the main focus point (which in this case is a png) then add textures and mess around with the transformation settings to make it blend in more. Once that's done, I save the outcome.

Then, I usually open up this little gem:

And add a filter (PS EXPRESS FILTERS ARE 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽)

In this case, I used the filter "koi" at the lowest percentage. Then I saved it (duh).

This is usually the point where  I add text and you guys know how that is, so then I finish it up (after probably adding some stuff here and there) and then there's the final product:

So... That might've been boring, but I hope you guys sorta learned more about how I make covers!! I was sorta awkward explaining everything, but I hope you guys understood, ha... 😅
