"Ououto, do me a favor and keep this a secret from mother and father..."

"Wh-What is it, Nii-san?"

Itachi softly pressedhis lips softly against his little brother's leaving Sasuke dumbfounded. He pulled back and dragged his brother to the Dango Shop, while the little Uchiha still had to recall what happened.

'Aniki...why did you..why?'

Sasuke bit into his dango,  enjoying the nice, flavory taste. He watched as his big brother paid for the meal and sat down next to him .

"I got us some bento just in case case you're hungry now..", Itachi said as he set the bento beside him. Sasuke didn't reply. He was still in surprise of his brother, even though he did love him to death, he wouldn't imagine liking him in that sort of way.....

But why not?

After all, Itachi was a good brother to have. Not to mention, the kindness he always showed. Then again... he always neglected Sasuke for reasons besides missions.

"Aniki...?"

"Yes?"

"Do you love me?"

Itachi froze at that question. He would usually imagine Shisui doing this because teases him 24/7, but not his little brother...

Didn't Sasuke already know that Itachi loved him to his last breath?

"Sasuke, can we talk about this later..?"

"No!"

The older Uchiha jumped at how he demanded. He did a glance at his little brother, seeing him with despair and confusion.

"Aniki, you keep leaving me! Ignoring me! What did I do to make you hate me? I don't care if I annoy you, I'm just looking out for you! It honestly feels like you don't care at all, so basically, if I just killed myself... you wouldn't care if I died. Itachi, if you hate me that much then why don't you kill me?!"

". . . . . "

Sasuke was glaring... but Itachi stared dead into his eyes, because he saw a little bit of redness in his pupils. If he kept this up, he would have the Sharingan in a matter of seconds.
"Sasuke..."

"Do it... Kill me!"

". . . . ."

His little brother finished his dango and ran back home.
