JACKIE POV

Let the music blast, we gon' do our dance
bring the doubters on, they don't matter at all

So there you guys have it, my cover of my favorite Justin Bieber song. Oh my gosh that song is like a thousand years old! Haha, anyway, hope you guys like it!

I pressed stop on my camera, and immediately went over to my computer to load the video. I felt so nervous, this was my very first time uploading a singing video online. I would never have done it if it weren't for my sister Josie. She's the one that encouraged me, and made me believe I had a great singing voice. Or at least a decent singing voice. I wasn't all that good.

After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, the video finally uploaded to YouTube. I immediately turned off my computer and went downstairs. I didn't want to see if I got any views right away. I probably didn't, so I didn't want to be reminded of how unpopular I was. I walked into the kitchen, immediately being bombarded with questions by my family. I had told them I would be uploading a singing video online, but I didn't tell them what song I would be singing. I wanted it to be a surprise.

"Is it up?"

"Did you send me the link??"

"What song did you sing!"

"Guys, guys. Yes it's up, I'll show you guys later, I'm really hungry." I replied, slightly chuckling.

"Nooo we want to see it right now!" My mom replied. She spoke English very well, but you could hear her thick Mexican accent right away.

"But moooom I'm really hungry. Please I promise I'll show you guys later."

"But can you at least tell us what song you sang!?" My sister said.

My family was so persistent. They will not let it go until I show them. Finally, after debating with myself if I should show it to them now, I decided I should if I wanna get anything to eat anytime soon. Sighing, I went back up to my room, grabbed the laptop off my desk, and practically dragged my feet down the stairs. I reluctantly set the laptop down on the table, and very slowly typed in my password. I could tell it was ticking my sister off, from how impatient she was, so I just laughed and went straight to my channel. Not even letting me do anything else, my mom grabbed the laptop from me and pressed on the video. Right away you could hear my introduction.

Heyyy my name is Jackie, and I am going to be singing one if my all time favorite songs...

I don't know about other people, but I hate the way my voice sounds in video, let alone my singing. Not wanting to hear it, I went over to the stove, serving myself some food, busying myself while my family watched me sing. I looked over at the two of them, and saw them smiling so wide at the screen, I started to wonder if their cheekbones hurt from smiling so much.

A few minutes later, the video ended and my mom and sister came to my side of the table to embrace me in a huge group hug.

"Oh honey that was amazing!" My mom said, a little too loud.

Laughing at how she was acting, my sister smiled at me and agreed with her.

"I must say, your voice was pretty darn cool sis. Not to mention, your boobs looked huge from that angle." She said, saying that last part softly enough so only I could hear.

I was in the middle of biting into the pizza my mom had made, and almost choked from laughter, my eyes going wide.

"I'm serious Jackie! No wonder you've got so many views already!"

I froze, trying to process what she said. I had only posted the video like 10 minutes ago, how many views could I possibly have so far? Reaching over the table, I grabbed the laptop and pulled it over to me, tilting the screen so I could see it. I looked down at the screen and saw I almost had 500 views already.

"What?! No way! oh my gosh, this is incredible!" I said in awe.

I scrolled down and saw I had a fair amount of comments, all of them being really nice, complimenting me on my singing. I looked up at my sister, smiling probably as wide as them earlier, if not bigger. I couldn't believe this! This was going better than I expected after all.

A/N

There you guys have it! The first chapter to this new story.
I'm sorry I keep making new stories, and I never update the other ones, I just get random ideas sometimes, and I write different scenarios.

Here is a list of my stories so far, and when they will be updated!

That one is obviously currently on hold, I'm still in the process of writing it, and I will upload it all at once, once I am finished with it. I don't know when that will be, but hopefully by the end of August it'll be up there.

That one I haven't paid much attention to lately, but maybe I will update it next Tuesday!

I will hopefully have the second chapter up on Wednesday night if I get the votes and comments.

Also, here's what I'm thinking of. I want to have a certain night a week that I upload new chapters. Comment maybe when that should be?

I'm thinking every Monday night I should update TEXT
