Part 13

Will and I walked out to his car and we drove to Dads house.

"I'm really sorry that Nash and Hayes pushed you in the pool."

"It's okay Will you didn't push me in the pool, they did"

"Do you still have nightmare's about it"

"Sometimes, but not as often when it first happened"

"Good. But I think you should get back in the water. You used to be so  good at swimming"

"I don't know Will I might never get back in the water ever again, I'm just really scared to"

"You have to face your fear sometime or later. Plus a pool is nothing like the ocean"

"I know it just gives me back bad flashbacks"

"It might be scary at first, every time you get in the water doesn't mean you are gonna get attacked by a shark. And you were lucky it only bite off part of your foot and not somewhere else"

"I know and I'm very great full that the doctors gave me a toes transplant"

"Then why do you still wear socks all the time"

"Because the scar is really big and those 3 toes barely move like the doctor said they might never have full function ever again"

"Come on I think Nila and Dad will be happy to see you." We got out of the car and went inside. Will opened the door and dad looked at us.

"Hey bug what are you doing here" he said getting up hugging me.

"Hayes and Nash pushed me in the pool today and didn't know why I was so upset when they pushed me in"

"Oh bug I'm sorry, do you wanna talk about it"

"No, dad I don't I'm fine"

"Okay, go wash up Nila is almost done with dinner" I nodded and walked to the bathroom.

                                                                         Hayes's POV-

I don't know why she got mad it was a little water.

"I don't know why she is upset Nash"

"Me either man"

"She used to get in the water all the time when she was little remember she was on the city swimming team." Hayes said.

"Not to interrupt on your conversation or anything but could it have to do with the big scar on her foot or something else"

me and Nash look at each other and our eyes go wide.

"Hayes we got to go" he says heading to the garage door and grabbing the truck keys. We headed to Dads house.

"How could we have forgotten something like that we are seriously so stupid"

"Seriously like what the Fuck" We got to Dads in 5 minutes.

We got out of the car and knocked on the door.

Dad opened the door and had a stern look on his face. He stepped out and closed the door behind him.

"Boys what were you thinking throwing your sister in the pool, when she hasn't gotten in the pool for 2 years"

"Dad we just thought it would be funny"

"You thought it would be funny... Did you not consider that she was attacked by shark and is scared to death of big pools of water. Your sister didn't sleep for weeks after that. The doctors had to give her sleeping pills to go to sleep and when she did she had terrible nightmares and didn't sleep long. I don't think you guys should see her today." Dad explained.

We hugged and went back to Mom's house.

"What are we gonna do"

"I don't know dude I don't know"

we arrived at home and walked into the house. Mom was waiting for us in the living room. 

"Boys would you care to explain where your sister is"

"Mom before we say anything I would like to say that we are very sorry and people will forget things."

"What did you two do"

"We may have threw her in the pool"

"Both of you come with me, no need to cause a scene in front of your friends" She said so calmly walking to her room, we walked in and she shut the door behind us.

"Boys what were you two thinking. She hasn't been in the water since the attack. Do you know she would never go  to sleep because ever time she closed her eyes she would imagine the attack. And the doctors would put her on medication just for her to sleep and she would have really bad nightmares still. I just don't know what to think right now. You not only let me down but you let your sister down big time. Now I'm gonna go to your dads and talk with him and you two will stay here and watch Sky and you better keep in line because if you do as much as stick a toe out of line there will be bad consequences. Do you understand me"

We both nodded and went back to the living room. Mom got her keys and left to dads house.

"So are you guys gonna tell us what is going on" Gilinsky asked.

"Brae just doesn't get in the pool and we forgot that's all"
