A blizzard swirled around the father and son, not able to see anything in sight. He raised a paw over his eyes, and shielded the sleeping pup on his back. Out of nowhere, two eyes gleamed through the sudden thick snow.

With a single, echoing, roar from the mysterious being, the blizzard stopped in its tracks. The creature became clear, and its long, grey, neck raised high, and its arctic wings spread wide.

"Do you wish to pass?" It sneered at the father, who didn't seem to flinch. "Yes." He stated, placing the child down to his feet. That was one of the many mistakes the Floatzel made in his life, and definently wouldn't be his last. "Papa, what's wrong?" The Buizel cub yawned, rubbing the snow out of his eyes. He got on one knee, and placed his hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, Cain, I just have to take care of something."

Cain didn't understand, but with a pat on the head from his dad, he couldn't ask any questions since he'd already walked away. "If you wish to pass, you must prove your worth." The Kyurem's statement didn't phase him; all he did was get in a fighting position. "Very well." With a deep inhale, a beam of ice shot from its mouth, and straight at the Floatzel.

He didn't move an inch; instead, he raised his arms up and created an almost clear barrier. The Ice Beam made contact with the Protect, and caused a steam that covered the area. Using it as cover, he lunged at the Kyurem with a Waterfall, and hit the slow dragon in its neck. Staggering back, he looked up and aimed a Dragon Pulse straight at him, but the dual Iron Tails split it right in the middle.

Floatzel's tails smashed against the shining crest on the dragon's head. Almost instantly, the head slammed onto the ground, and the force brought the rest of its body with it.

With its remaining strength, the Kyurem stood back up, but couldn't seem to find his opponent anywhere. Out of the corner of his eye, it saw gusts of wind swirling around the Floatzel. Before Kyurem could get out of the way, or attack first, it was too late.

"Razor Wind!" The father yelled, uncrossing his arms swiftly. With that command of his arms, dozens of blades of wind were sent flying at it. The smaller ones knocked Kyurem to the floor, which forced it to dodge the largest blade.

The remaining blade traveled far into the distance, and it grew as it went farther. Finally reaching the target of a nearby mountain, it cut the tip off, and the shock wave crumbled it into dust.

Cain watched from the side, gawking at his father's strength. Before he could even blink, the battle was over. His father, a Floatzel, defeated the legendary Pokemon, Kyurem.

The legendary refreshed itself, and walked over to the victor. "You have proven worthy, you may pass." The Floatzel gave a joyous smirk, but frowned as he walked over to the pup smiling widely. Once again, he got on one knee for his son. "Hey, I'm gonna go away for a while, but I'll be back soon." He frowned, "What do you mean." His father tightened up, "I'm gonna go train. I have to get stronger."

Cain looked shocked, "No you don't you're already super strong. Like this strong." He spread out his arms widely, and it made his father chuckle. "But I wasn't strong enough. Goodbye, Cain." He slowly stood up, and walked towards the legendary that he'd defeated.

"Wait, don't go!" Cain pleaded, but all his dad did was turn around and smile. "Cain! One day, find me." He pointed up towards the mountain that he was heading to, "Find me at the Grand Summit!" He looked up at Kyurem, "Can you send him home please?" The gargantuan creature nodded slowly, as you wish." Its eyes shined once more, and stared into Cain's soul. In an instant, he found himself in a different location.

He looked around his surroundings, and found himself at a village. Not just any village, the Water Village. The place he called home.

Cain fell to his knees, and began to ball his eyes out. Why, why did he leave me? He repeated in his head. The one thing his mother taught him though, was that if you didn't know something, ask someone. That was when he made up his mind. The Grand Summit. A place that was where the strongest of the strong go to train. It is rumored that the legends were born there, and go to train as well. He decided that he would become stronger, and make his way to The Grand Summit.
