louis tomlinson is a man at the age of twenty-two. a man who is a professional dance choreographer. a man who lives in a tiny building, with tiny flats.

but louis is happy.
for the most part.

this isn't some heartbreaking story about a depressed boy who meets a cheerful boy and they fall in love; no. both people in this story are happy.
for the most part; of course.

not everyone is one hundred percent happy. everyone has their own sad moments. but louis never has a moment that he would consider himself depressed.

he is a very happy person. enjoys his job. likes his building. likes himself.

so sadness is something louis feels quite rarely.

so is embarrassment.

being a dance choreographer, louis has to not be afraid to go all out, and he isn't. every time louis will mess up a move, he always laughs along with his students, simply because it's funny.

so when louis experiences embarrassment for the first time in a while, it's, well,

embarrassing.

and here's how that story goes;

louis was in his dance studio, going over the choreography for his upcoming performance with his students. it's and upbeat dance, more in the hip-hop type genre. and louis dances his heart out.

the music to the song ends, and louis turns around, beaming.

"that was absolutely excellent!" louis exclaims, in his light accent.

the boys of his class all smile and turn to start talking to each other.

"louis!" one of his students, ricky, comes up to him.

louis whips his head around, seeing a smiling ricky in front of him.

"how can i help you lad?" louis asks politely, slightly out of breath.

"i'm a little confused on the choreography at the near end of the dance, i can't quite get the turns right."

"which part exactly?"

ricky demonstrates the moves, or at least, attempts to, and louis steps right in to help.

he pulls ricky in front of the mirror, and starts doing the first spin to the right, landing with his right leg out to his side and his head down by his leg, then snapping his head up, popping his left hip out, raising his arm into the air then leaps into another spin.

ricky watched carefully, wanting to get every move right.

when louis asks ricky to repeat his moves, ricky does so, messing up on some parts, but louis gladly helps him out, because that's just what louis does.

once ricky had it down, he thanked louis and went to drink some more water. louis sighed contently and went back over the stereo to grab the music CD, and put it in it's case, placing the case in his bag and setting the bag on the floor.

he went to stand in front of the mirror, to talk to his class.

he clapped his hands together once, still smiling, and that got everyone's attention.

"great job today lads! show is in a week, i want you to keep practicing at home for me, and i'll see you back here on friday!" louis says, then dismisses his boys to go home for the day.

louis grabs his bag and his water bottle, along with his phone, and heads out the door of the studio, shutting off the lights.

on his way out, louis stopped to look into the girl's dance studio, like he always does. he loves to watch the other dancers and what they work on.

louis smiles at the soft music playing and the agile ballet dance that the younger girls are performing. all his boys are from the age of fifteen through twenty, so he likes to watch the younger ones perform too.

he makes his way to his car, driving back to his small flat.

as soon as louis gets home, he steps inside, immediately taking off his white silk tank top, it being too hot. he threw it in the hamper and peeled his sweatpants off of his thick legs, leaving him only in his boxers. louis grabbed his shower caddy and his clothes, wrapping himself in a towel then beading to the showers.

since louis flat is extremely small, as are all of them, there is one bathroom on each floor, like there would be in a college dorm.

louis walked into the bathroom, hearing one of the showers running. he walked to the third shower from the door, the one he always uses, because no one else ever uses it, since the air vent is right above it pointing down, making the shower freezing.

but louis loved the slight goosebumps that rose on his caramel skin while he showered, it made him relax and the chill throughout the shower felt nice on his heated skin.

he pulled back the shower curtain, squealing and dropping his stuff while his hands went to cover his eyes, when he saw another body in the shower, which also shrieked, pulling closed the shower curtain

louis backed up against the wall. "sorry!" he shrieks.

"sorry! sorry, sorry.." louis mumbles as he walks away from the shower.

louis sighed, wrapping the long towel below his chest and sinking down to the wall, waiting, since he never uses any other shower.

he heard the shower turn off and then heard the shower curtain being pulled back, followed by a boy walking out of the shower, running a towel through his long curls while another towel sits low on his hips. louis couldn't help but stare at the boy's body, which was covered in tattoos, making his body so much better.

when louis was done ogling, the boy asked, "you couldn't have used another shower mate?" and holy shit his voice was so beautifully deep.

louis blushed. "that's the only shower i ever use, usually no one uses it because it's too cold." louis had explained, but realized the boy was listening when he saw the boys eyes trained on his thighs, which were exposed due to his towel being pulled up somehow. louis pulled the towel over his thighs, making the curly lad snap out of his trance.

"huh?" the boy asked, licking his lips.

louis repeated his sentence and the boy just nodded before moving from in front of the shower.

"sorry, by the way." louis had said, and the curly boy turned red as he nodded.

louis walked into the shower and stripped out of his boxers, turning on the shower. he went to reach for his vanilla shampoo when he realized he had left it outside of the shower.

"shit"

louis peeked outside the curtain to see if anyone was there then grabbed his towel to wrap around his waist.

he sighs. this was not how he expected his day to end.
