"Are you sure that it has two lines?", I asked my cousin Jade nervously.
Hi, I am Aubri Lewis but everybody calls me Bri and I am 23 years old. I did something alot of y'all gonna say you are a hoe or how are you going to stab your best friend in the back like that? But it wasn't intentionally. My best friend Sasha was going with my childhood crush. I couldn't tell her I liked him because they were talking. Notice I said were talking. But Sasha never be faithful to one guy. She is what you call a thot.
"Girl this is the fifth pregnancy test you done took today. All of them have been positive.", Jade said while holding the pregnancy test up for me to see.
"I can't be pregnant by him. Dontae is my best friend ex. How can I tell him? But most importantly how can I tell Sasha?", I said while on the verge of tears.
Dontae and I have been knowing each other for years. Every since 2nd grade. He always had my back. But he moved away after high school and we lost touch. One day he came showing up at my doorstep with Sasha. Now I know I should've said something about how Sasha was but I didn't want to get in that. But needless to say he found out on his own. Which leads to me being pregnant by him.
"I never really liked her. I don't even know why you hang around that girl. She is nothing but bad news.", Jade said with a disgust look on her face.
Jade never liked Sasha. Jade and Sasha had beef about this girl Jade she was talking to. Yes Jade is a lesbian. We didn't know Sasha messed with girls until one day, Jade came home and caught Sasha in the bed with Diamond. The sad part about it is Sasha is the one that hooked them up. So every since then they haven't been cool.
While Jade went on and on about Sasha I was still trying to figure everything out. I have the slightest idea on how I am going to tell Dontae.
Jade knocked me out of my thoughts by saying,"Dontae is on his way over."
"Jade!!!", I screamed to the top of my lungs.
"Girl I called him after the third pregnancy test you took. There is no use of waiting might as well get it out in the opening.", Jade said while walking to open the door.
"Speak of the devil.", Jade smirked.
"Hey Jade said it was urgent so I rushed right over. What's up?", Dontae said all calm but nervous.
"Jade can we have some privacy?", I asked with so much authority.
Jade nodded while headed out the door.
"You might wanna seat down for this one.", I said while taking a seat.
(I said a silent pray.)
"Dontae I don't know how to tell you this. But I took 5 pregnancy tests and they all confirmed that I am pregnant.", I informed him.
He set there in a daze for about 10 mins. But then he finally spoke.
"I am shocked that your pregnant. I don't know how to feel right now.", He said with a shocking face.
"Dontae I am not getting an abortion." I said while looking him dead in the eyes.
"Aubri Nicole Lewis you should know me by now! How long have you been knowing me?!, Dontae screamed.
"Since second grade.", I said while looking down.
"Right since second grade! So that means you should already know how I roll. Now I am not the type of guy that is going to say it ain't my baby, when I know I laid down and had sex with you.", Dontae said ever so seriously.
"Dontae you use to go with Sasha. And she suppose to be my best friend. Omg this was a mistake.", I said as I bust out into tears.
Dontae grabbed me in his arms and we just sat that without any words being exchanged.
A couple of hours later.....
The front door was slammed which caused us to jump.
"Did I interrupt?", Jade laughed.
Dontae kissed my forehead while saying,"Get some rest and I will check on you later."
I nodded my head and plastered a weak smile on my face.
This one question is still in my mind.....
How can I be pregnant by my best friend ex?
Aubri took 5 pregnancy test and they all came back positive.
Jade is into girls and can't stand Sasha at all.
Sasha sleep around with any and everybody. She slept with Diamond. And she is the one that hooked them up.
Not only is Dontae, Sasha's ex he is also the father of the baby Aubri is pregnant with.
Answer this: Should Aubri have told Dontae how Sasha was?
