"El!" I turned around to find my best friend running towards me,dressed in one of his newest creation. A purple a-line skirt, a black baggy sweater, and of course, his necklace. It was just a little rock tied to a piece of string, but he treasured that thing like his own eyeball. His mother had told him it belonged to his father, who's absence was obvious. I smiled and waited for the blond to catch up with me. He bent over and panted. "New...student,really...cute." I raised an eyebrow. "Are you okay?"
Alex straightened out. "I'm fine. Although, you should try running in heels next time." He caught a glimpse of my face and grinned. He reached over and ruffled my hair. "No need to get your panties in a twist, babes."
I rolled my eyes and shoved him. "You are such a stereotype."
As soon as he opened his mouth to retort, the bell rang. "This isn't over." Alex said before rushing off into the other direction. I headed to maths. That guy walks better in heels than any girl I know. I should probably introduce myself. My name is Elsie Spencer, a red head with hazel eyes and an artist's touch. I'm 15 and in 3rd year of secondary school. I'm known around the school as a bit of a trouble maker. So anyways, I made it to class and sat down at my desk. A few minutes after the teacher explains the task we were to do and let's us get on, a late comer enters. All eyes turn toward the kid. Strawberry blond hair, styled to perfection, blue eyes hidden behind grey glasses. He was rocking his school uniform with a confidence of a model. He strolls to the teacher, hands her a note and stands coolly as she reads it. Mrs Cossie stood up. "Guys!" She clasped her hands together."This is Frankie. He will be joining your class." She turned to him. "Pick who you want to sit next to. They will explain what we're doing. Kelsey, the stuck up barbie girl of the class, immediately starting making 'flirty' eyes and playing with her hair. He forced a polite smile before turning around and rolling his eyes. I snorted quietly, but it was apparently loud enough for him to hear me, as he turned to me and caught my eye. His gaze was strong, icy, and it felt like it was ripping through my soul. Damn, is he magical?. He smirked and looked at the Mrs Cossie."Her." He pointed to me. "I'll sit next to her."Well,crap.
•••••••••••
He came over and sat down next to me, setting his bag between his legs. "Hey! I'm Frankie." He whispered. "Elsie." I replied curtly. "So,Elsie." He said my name as if he was tasting how it sounded in his mouth. "What are we doing?" . I started adding the final touches to my sketch of a snake. "Trigonometry." Frankie kissed his teeth. " Piece of cake."
