Moon Building. Moon Class....
Our class just ended so I could finally take a nap. No, make that a 'long nap' because we won't be having any classes until this afternoon due to the sudden meeting of the teachers. Important matters to discuss, I guess. I heard there was someone so powerful that had entered the school and that is one of a problem. You see, this school has a limit when it comes to accepting newbies and that depends as to how powerful they are. If one really is powerful, he'll be sent to the HQ.
My eyes were almost closed when a loud voice erupted.
"Hey you. Hand these papers to Narumi-sensei. Sun Building room 2-A." Ryou ordered, piling up the papers neatly and then handed it to me.
"Okay," I said with a hint of annoyance. After I received the papers, I quickly dashed out of the room for the Sun building. Along the way, I met Rina and so I decided to have a little chitchat with her. I'm sure those guys wouldn't mind.
"So how is life as a Moon student? Or should I say, as a Princess?" Rina asked, placing her tray down the table. I quickly put my head down the table and started to murmur.
"Those guys are too much! They don't know how to treat a lady, well except for Rei. The rest's characteristics are of the devil. Especially that Ryou's rudeness. It's really getting on my nerves. Also that Reishin and Rhyl--"
"Wait!"
I instantly shifted my gaze to Rina whose eyes were wide open.
"You call them by their first names?"
"Yeah, what's wrong?" I simply replied and started attacking the food in front.
"So does that mean you're already close with them?" I darted her a look and almost laugh at her reaction.
"Don't get the wrong idea. Calling people with their last names which you're not yet close with, shows respect but since I don't respect them, I call them with whatever I want. I also call Ryou Mr evil. Heh." I paused, "Trust me, you don't wanna put yourself in my shoes."
"You don't address them with sama or something?"
"No, they don't deserve that. They're cold, heartless, sadist, merciless, devil, plastic, and.. and.."
"I think you should stop saying those 'cause--" Rina paused for a while and was staring at something behind me with big eyes.
I looked back and saw Ryou.
I did not see him behind me. Was he there the whole time? Did he heard what I've been calling them?
"I uh--- I--"
What will I say? He's eyes were staring at me, telling me he's gonna kill me.
"Look Ryou, I didn't ---"
"Shut up."
That's all he said before dragging me out of the cafeteria.
Soon, we were at the Moon's practice room.
"What are we doing here?" I asked.
"I want you to fight me."
"What!? There's no way I'm gonna win against you. You're so strong so--"
"Shut up and do as I say, dog." He said with a more serious tone and his brows are starting to give an angry expression.
The last word hit a nerve but I guess I'll do what he says to compensate for what I said earlier.
"OK," I said in a whisper. I tied my hair into a ponytail and did some warm ups before going at the center where he was waiting.
"I'm ready," I said as I take my stance.
In a split second, he was charging at me with flames engulfing his body. He was charging at me but I went numb.
These flames. They feel familiar. It's like Natsu's.
"Don't forget me."
A voice once again resonated in my head but this time, I didn't feel any pain, I just saw Natsu in place of Ryou.
"Natsu!!" I cried and hugged the person coming at me. We both fell to the ground.
"I'm not Natsu, idiot."
I quickly broke my hug and came to realize that he really isn't him. Strange. I somehow feel like there's something common to them.
"Ehe~~ what's this lovely atmosphere?" I quickly got up as soon as I saw the other guys enter the room.
"Hi," I greeted.
"I need you guys to go out. We're still having a practice and don't ever dare to disturb us again. " Ryou demanded which he immediately got a positive response.
"Roger that sir," Rhyl said, showing a snappy salute. He was really funny just now. I always thought he's a difficult one to deal with.
"Let us continue." He said and immediately came at me with full force. I didn't have the time to dodge so I blocked it but it was futile. I got blown away a few meters from where I was standing a few moments ago.
Before I could get up, the opponent released simultaneous blows, each having a painful impact on my body.
"Enough. Remember that your opponent is still a girl." I heard Rei said but Ryou pretended not to hear it.
"Is this all you've got? Pathetic." He said with an sinister grin on his face.
"Devil." My mind screamed.
Suddenly, the blows stopped coming, I looked around but Ryou was not here anymore. I looked up, and there he was, ready to smash me into billion of pieces.
I opened my eyes and saw myself in Rei's arms.
Transportation Magic.
He gently put me down then went to confront Ryou. When I thought he was gonna speak, all I saw was Ryou was already at the ground. Wiping the blood from his lips where Rei punched him hard.
"What were you thinking? You could've killed her!" Rei shouted. The Rei now is totally different form the sweet Rei I usually see, he's scary.
"Its fine. I-it was j-just a practice after all. It's my fault for not being able to fight back." I said as I tug Rei's arms gently.
" 'Just practice' you say? Your state now would've been worse if it hadn't been for me."
"Yeah, I guess I have to thank you----"
"Lucy-chan!"
