Hey people...i am back..i know i was supposed to update yesterday but i got busy ...but here is the update and Another sad news is that next chapter is going to be the last one...yes people you heard me right..Manum is almost finished...Next chapter will be the last...I am so sad....But we'll meet again in  "The Outcast"...

Without further ado...chapter 29 :)

It was 4 o clock in the morning. When Zayaan felt something soft squeezed his hand a little bit. He looked up and his gaze settled on Manum and her now open eyes. Joy and relief washed over him as he saw her blinking her eyes tiredly at him. Zayaan felt his heart beating more rapidly as leaned upon her and kissed her forehead

"Hey baby...Are you ok??? How are you feeling??? Are you ok ...shall I call the doctor"?? He panicked as soon as he remembered again that she was shot and started throwing a lot of questions at her all at once.

"Z..za..zayaan" She said weakly looking at him as tears brimmed her eyes

Zayaan kissed her forehead her eyelids her nose her cheeks, he peppered kisses all over her face again and again as she cried silently .She buried her head in his chest as he hid his face in her neck.

"I am so sorry...I am sorry Manum...You have no idea how sorry I am about all of this. I failed you love...I failed to protect you..Please I am sorry...I shouldn't have let you go alone anywhere..." He was speaking continuously as his tears fell on her face directly..Manum put her fingers on his lips to silence him and he abruptly went quiet

"Its not your fault" She whispered as he ran his hands through her hairs..

"It is" He said shaking his head

"No...Its not Zayaan.." she denied softly again kissing his nose. Their faces were close to the point where their breaths were fanning each others faces.

"How are you feeling" He asked kissing her cheeks

"Pain...everywhere" she whispered again as his lips hovered over hers

"Should I call the doctor" He started to get up when Manum grabbed his shirt in a hard grip again shaking her head

"No...Just stay with me" She said softly as her tears flew out of her eyes and he wiped them away

"Always" He replied kissing her lips

"I missed you" Zayaan looked straight in her eyes as he said the words

"I missed you too...a lot" She replied kissing his lips again

"I can't explain the feeling when you weren't with me Manum...It was like I was hollow inside. It was like I couldn't breath... I am sorry I failed you...Forgive me" His voice got shaky in the end as his face went crimson and tears flew out of his eyes effortlessly

"Its not your fault...I trust you...You are here, you saved me that's all that matters." She replied putting a hand on his cheeks

"I promise..I will never fail you again" He vowed in a determined voice, his eyes showing the truth of his words as he kissed her forehead

"Why didn't you tell me you were pregnant"??? He asked politely and Manum's head snapped abruptly looking at him in shock

"My baby"??? She looked at him in horror putting a hand on her stomach
