"Yeah I'll see you tomorrow, love you," I said, ending the call to my best friend, Charlotte as I entered my house.
I bounced up the stairs, ecstatic that it was finally Friday. I entered my room and my face immediately dropped at the sight in front of me.
My room was empty and my mom was sat there next to my suitcases, that were completely full. I shot her a confused glance. She looked up at me with wide eyes, hesitant about what she wanted to say. We're we moving? Was I going to stay with my aunt?was she kicking me out? Was my room getting decorated? My mind was racing with reasons that could explain what was going on.
"I can't do this anymore, I can't be a mother to a daughter that I never wanted in the first place. Your leaving in 4 hours to stay with your dad in Arizona, I'm done."
I stood there unsure of what to say or do, I was in complete shock. My heart was shattered into a billion pieces and I had no idea what I had done wrong.
"Yo-you never wa-wanted me?" I was a mess, There were tears in my eyes desperate to fall, but I wouldn't let them. I couldn't. I couldn't let her see the pain she was putting me through.
She kept her head low, her eyes completely focused on the floor. Did she even care?
"Okay well I guess I'll just leave then," I muttered sadly, grabbing my suitcases and leaving my bedroom. I didn't even bother saying bye, and neither did she.
I looked around my house for the last time before leaving my house. Alone.
I woke up to the sound of my alarm beeping through my ears. I had had nightmares before, but this was the worst one. I missed my mum more than anything and I just wanted to go home but I knew that I would just have to put a smile on my face and try to be happy here.
I dragged myself out of bed and got ready for my first day at 'University of Arizona', secretly hoping that Hunter would be there.
