Speechless (Norminah)

DESCRIPTION:_The bestfriends (Ally, Normani, Lauren, and Camila) arrived in their college cafe and they see a girl (Dinah) eating by herself. So Ally decided that they would introduce theirselves and right off the bat Normani didn't like the girl she didnt know why but she just didnt want to know her or associate with her but her friends did.

Normani stared at the blond so hard her own eyes started to sting becoming dry as she forgot to blink, she didn't like  her. She hated  Her voice when she talked and her laugh, which made Normanis skin crawl.  Every thing about Dinah made Normani cringe.

As  the group of girls continued with their fascination of  Dinahs life back in california, Normani grew more annoyed. " yea i hear the guys in Cali are sooo hot, and the teens look like they are in their 20s is that just a myth?" Ally asked Dinah  with heart eyes. Annoyed at her friends for taking an interst in the chick that she already has begun to loath, Normani got up from the table without anyone noticing heading  to the vending machine to buy a bottle of water, as Dinah opened her mouth to answer Ally's question.

     " ha!" Dinah chuckled " yes and no, i mean there like any other guys in this country but some nerds in my school did age fast over the summer and came September they looked like hot models!" Dinah explained. As Camila checks her watch she realized the hour went by fast and Ally, Camila, and Lauren had class soon. " guys we have to leave now or will be late to Mr.Guyzers lecture!" Camila said while rushing, collecting her stuff.

     The girls threw their trash away then exchanged numbers with Dinah. Normani saw this and grawled under her breath as she headed back to the table. " hay Normani, your still free right, you could show Dinah to her next class its in Franklin Hall?".

Lauren asks, giving Normani a death stare, since she sensed her hostile attitude towards Dinah from earlier.

Normani's eyes widened with shock from Laruen putting her on the spot. " i.. Uh...I'm actually heading to my dorm to get changed, i have practice in 30 minutes". Normani half lied, practice wasn't for another three hours. "Thats great, your heading the same  direction!" Lauren said with a mischievous smile.
Normani had a vision of tackling her best friend for forcing her to do this particular deed but instead grabs her bag from the chair and places it over her shoulder in a calmly manner.

        Normani stood watching her friends, say their last goodbyes to Dinah then fading away, out the double doors of the cafe. Dinahs voice interrupts her daze "i actually know where Frank Hall is so you dont have to take me Dinah explained to the back of Normani's head.

       Normani turned to face Dinah, immediately making eye contact with the brown eyes. She stared hard, with an annoyed face. Looking as if she was holding her breath and was ready to explode, "Okay...then" Normani carelessly responds shrugging her shoulders shes cut off by her ring tone playing " 7/11" by Beyonce, the girl pulls her phone out her pocket looking down at the caller ID that displayed

"Mine❤️".

Normani smiles at her phone then looks back up at Dinah, suddenly dropping her smile remembering who she was talking to. " i have to take this" Normani says waying a short goodbye rushing to the cafe exit. Dinah stood confused trying to piece together what exactly just happened in that small exchange.

      Dinah sighs at the thought of Normani not liking her since she didn't know her enought to not like her. Moving on from that subject, the blond takes her phone out to look at a pic of her new scedual which cheered her up, she knew it would be a good idea to take the pic, knowing herself she was always loosing papers.

       Taking a pic would only make life easier. Dinah headed out to Franklin Hall with a smile on her face, she had met new people that seem like great potential friends and who new what else was in store for her day.
