The sharp cry of babies ricochets around the room as twins have just been born.
After a few days, the babies were ready to be taken home. The mother was now laying on the gurney, in a deep sleep.
"Are you sure you can take care of her?" The father asks the couple in the corner of the room.
"Of course, our farm is growing in the other side of the country, we're sure to give her a good life." The woman explains.
"Good. Take her, before my wife wakes up." The woman nods and the couple heads to the nursery to get one of the twins.
Mary and John Wilson was a poor couple living in the city of Amsterdam, since they were poor, they had no money to take care of two children, so John planned to give one away to a family that can take care of one of the twins.

"NO!" Mary screams and yells at the couple while John holds her back.
"Mary calm down." John says, no use, she was still screaming and yelling.
"What do you mean you gave her away, John!?" She shrieks at him.
"We had no money whatsoever! We can't afford to take care of twins!"
"We could find a way! Why did you give her away!?" She slowly trails off into tears.
The woman Mary was screeching at steps forward and tries to comfort her but she pulls away immediately.
"Get away from me!"
The husband of the woman sighs. "We'll be going now." He grabs his wife's hand and was about to leave but Mary clasps the woman's hand in the blink of an eye.
The woman was taken aback, but she gets a hold of herself.
"Take care of her." Mary mumbles, tears streaming down her face.
The woman could only nod and Mary lets go of her hand, and they leave, one of the twins in her hand.
But little did they know, the twin girls were destined to meet again.
"Mary? What should we name her?"
After a long gap of silence, Mary speaks with one word and one word only. "Heather." Her last tear escapes her eye.
