Sleeping Beauty

The Opening part

This is a story about a young girl. Her name is princess Aurora. Aurora's parents King Stefan and Queen Leah loved her so much. The king and queen decided to throw a celebration party for there daughter. They invited everybody in the kingdom to come celebrate. The party was right outside of the castle. The king and queen both sat in chairs. Aurora was in her little cradle that was right next to her mom. She had a beautiful yellow dress on with pink flowers on it. Her parents invited king Hubert and prince Phillip. Phillip is the son of king Hubert. King Stefan and king Hubert talked a long time ago in the past. They talked about if whoever had a daughter or a son that those two people would be forced to marry each other, so that meant that prince Phillip and princess Aurora are forced to get married when they get a older. King Hubert and prince Phillip walk up to where Aurora's parents are. King Stefan and King Hubert said hi to each other and gave each other a hug. Aurora was just looking around.
Prince Phillip said,"Hi this is my gift for the princess."
Queen Leah looked at Phillip when he said that.
She said,"Oh thank you. Would you like to go see Aurora?"
Phillip was a little nervous to meet her because he was hoping he was going to like the princess.
He said,"Uh sure."
Queen Leah said,"Ok. Come with me."
They walked over to Aurora's cradle. Prince Phillip stood by the cradle with the Leah. He looked at the princess. He thought that the princess was beautiful. But he didn't say a word. He just kept looking at her.
Queen Leah said," Do you mind if I go back and sit down? You could still stay here with the princess if you want."
Prince Phillip said," I don't mind."
Queen Leah said,"Ok."
Phillip stayed there with the princess. Aurora was sleeping. But she woke up after two minutes. She opened her eyes and looked around a little. She saw that a boy was looking at her. Phillip waved and said hi to her. Aurora smiled when Phillip said hi to her. Phillip smiled. He felt like that he was already falling in love with her, but he didn't want to admit it because he felt like that he was to young to say anything like she's pretty or so beautiful. He saw beauty in Aurora's eyes.
He said," Hi Aurora. I'm prince Phillip."
Aurora put her hands out to the side. Phillip smiled. He grabbed one of Aurora's hands and let her play with his finger. He went down close to where Aurora's face is and whispered into her ear.
He said," I think your a very pretty princess."
He stood back up and looked behind him to make sure that nobody was looking at him and the princess. King Stefan and king Hubert were still talking. Queen Leah was just talking to a few other people in the crowd. Phillip said in his head ok it is safe to do it. He looked back at the princess. Aurora was still holding Phillip's finger. He went down close to Aurora's hand. The hand that Aurora was holding his finger. He put his lips on her hand and gave her a kiss. He stood back up and smiled. He walked over to his dad. The moment when Aurora and Phillip's finger's separated was so sweet and romantic. Aurora just felt so happy during the whole party. The reason why Aurora was just so happy is because she touched a guy's hand. She never had touched a guy's hand before. The nice thing is that its not just any guy it's the prince. But Aurora doesn't know that because she's just a baby. Smoke of fairy dust came falling down. Everybody was all wondering who is coming. They have arrived the three good fairy's. There was Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. Flora was the fairy wearing a pink dress. Fauna was the fairy wearing a green dress. Merryweather was the fairy wearing a blue dress. All three of the fairies went over to the king and queen. They bowed.
Flora said," It is so nice to see you again your Majesty's."
Queen Leah said," It is nice to see you three too."
Flora said," We brought a gift for the princess. But not just any gift. A gift full of magic. May we give our gifts your Majesty's?"
Queen Leah and King Stefan looked at each other. King Stefan nodded. Queen Leah looked back at the fairy's.
She said," You may."
Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather all smiled.
Flora said," Ok I'll go first."
Flora flew over to the princess. She looked at her.
She said," Dear Princess my gift to you shall be the gift of Beauty."
She waved her wand on the princess to make that wish. Prince Phillip said in his head she's all ready beautiful. how much more beautiful can she get?
Flora smiled and flew back to where the king and queen were. Fauna flew over to the princess.
She said," Tiny princess my gift to you shall be the gift of song."
She waved her wand on the princess to make that wish come true. Prince Phillip smiled. Fauna flew away and went back to where Flora was. Merryweather flew over to the princess.
She said,"Sweet princess my gift shall be..."
Just when Merryweather was about to say what the gift is. Everybody saw that it was getting dark and they heard a loud boom. It started getting really windy. People's hats were falling off. Everybody was looking at each other saying oh no what's happening. Then they all heard thunder. They saw a big lightening bolt come striking down to the ground. As soon as that lightening bolt got done. A person appeared. It was the evil fairy. Her name is Maleficent. Her pet bird was with her too.
Maleficent said," Well well. Now what do we have going on here?"
Maleficent walked over to the king and queen.
She said," Royalty, no ability, the gentry, and how quite even the raffle. I must say King Stefan that I really got quite distressed, on not receiving an invitation to this party."
King Stefan said," Your not welcomed here."
Maleficent smiled.
She said," Oh dear what an awkward situation. I see that the fairy's have gave their gifts to the princess and with that being said. I too shall besto a gift on this child of yours."
King Stefan and Queen Leah looked at each other nervously and were hoping that the gift was gonna be a good gift, but Maleficent is evil so they got scared.
Maleficent said," Listen well all of you!!! The princess shall indeed grow in grace and beauty. Beloved by all who known her."
Queen Leah said,"That is a lovely gift."
Maleficent said," I'm not finish yet."
She walked over to the princess.
Merryweather said," Stay away from the princess. Please stay away!"
Maleficent cast a spell with her hand on the three fairy's to make them go in a small box. She finished walking over to Aurora. She looked at her.
She said," Hmm what shall we give you?"
Flora, Fauna, and Meeryweather were able to get out of the box. Maleficent thought about the gift for a minute, then she had an idea.
She said," Before the sun sets on the princess's 16th birthday. She shall prick her finger on a spindle of a spinning wheel and. Die!!!"
She cast her magic wand on the princess with that gift she said. She did her evil laugh and walked away. She trued around.
She said," Oh and one more thing."
Everybody looked at her.
Maleficent said," Good luck trying to wake her up haha not really because she never will hahahaha!!! Ha!!! Goodbye for now. Hahahahaha!"
Maleficent disappeared. Queen Leah cried.
She said," My poor poor daughter."
Flora felt bad. She walked over to the queen and king.
She said," Your majesty's don't worry so much. Merryweather still has her gift to give."
King Stefan said," Will she be able to undo this curse?"
Merryweather walked over
She said," Oh no your highness."
Flora said," Maleficent's powers are just to strong."
Fauna flew over to the king and queen. She said," But of course Merryweather can help a little."
Merryweather walked over to the princess.
She said," Sweet princess, I feel sorry for you about the curse that your gonna have, but the gift that I give to you is that you will not be in death. You will just be in a deep sleep and from the slumber you shall wake, when true loves kiss the spell shall break."
King Stefan was still concerned of his daughter's life. He told the people at the palace to make an announcement to everyone in the kingdom, that every spinning wheel in the kingdom should be burned and so was done. The burned spinning wheels were locked up in the deepest dungeon in the castle.
