Home. It is not, as officially stated, a place of residence. That is dwelling. Home is the place that someone feels emotionally and sentementally connected and/or tied. A place where the enhabitants have a strong sense of belonging, and earn a sickening nostalgia when they're away. Home isn't something that can actually be defined though, because it is everywhere. Every corner of the earth is where someone was born; where someone was raised and went to school; where someone started a family; where someone died. But is home a place? Can you really give it a zip code or pin point it on a map? Or is it a person?

The saying 'Home is where the heart is" surely meant that home is what you love. And if you give your heart to someone, they become your home. They become the place you refuge, the place you are safe and warm and cared for. The place you miss when your away and the place that you will yearn for if it is lost forever. The place that is everything to you. Nathanial Piero Mason had lived in four places before he found the place he called home, and her name was Isla Barnes.

A/N---

This story shows how you dont have to have alot in common to be able to relate to the issues and problems in each others lives. By reading and understanding Isla and Nates prediciments, I hope you'll have a better insight and understanding of the unspoken bond two people can shre and that there are different ways of dealing with the problems life throws at us.

You can be strangers, and understand in an instant how each other feel to a tee. Equally, you can be so close to someone and not have a clue what they're going through.
