A few days have passed since Tsukki and I lost to the other first years, along with sharing a bed with him. I remember that morning so clearly. He smelt so nice, and warm. So very warm. A warmth that makes you feel at home. I found myself sitting next to that same warmth during lunch the following days. Its Tuesday now, so the second day without any bullies. I felt so nice to have Tsukki to be protect me.

"I'm going to go buy a coffee, want anything," I stood up and smiled at him brightly. Holding my money close to my chest.

"No," he didn't look up from his phone. I basically skipped away. Things were definitively  looking up for me. As I walked away from the machine happily sipping on my coffee. When I turned the corner there was a pretty girl with light brown eyes beaming up at me.

"Yamaguchi," she said in almost a whisper looking around to see if anyone was close by. Which there wasn't. I made sure I went to the vending machine that nobody went to because it was to much of a walk. Her light brown hair covered her face as she bowed down in front of me. Her love letter held out to me. Was she serious? How could a girl so pretty like me? My hand twitched as I moved it up slowly to take the note from her.

Dear Yamaguchi,

I think I love you. Just the little things you do in class to your little freckles. Please accept my invitation to a date.

Love, Ko

"Um...I mean I don't see why not," I shrugged rubbing the back of my head. I don't believe she actually was in my class though. She didn't look familiar that is for sure. Has she been stocking me? She shot up with a big grin on her face. I shyly smiled back.

"I'll see you after your volleyball practice then right," she asked. I nodded slowly. And with the she skipped off to the rest of her friends. I folded the letter into my pocket and made my way back to class.

The rest of the day seemed to drag on slowly. I started to get more and more nervous as every minute passed. My first propper date. With a pretty girl. I must be dreaming. I pinched myself several times that day to make sure it wasn't.

My mind was on what her and I were going to do instead of on practice. A ball flew right into my face.

"Yamaguchi, pay attention," Coach Ukai-san shouted at me. During a break Hinata came boucning up to me.

"Yamaguchi, why are you so distracted today," he looked up at me with wide eyes. Kageyama followed closely behind and grabbed the shorter boy by the head.

"You can't just ask people these type of quiestions, dumbass," he shouted. I giggled a little. They were such polar opposites that they seemed like an old married couple.

"It's fine. I have a date after practice," I looked down blushing a bit. All eyes where on me now. Tsukki looked shocked. Questions started to flood me but we were cut off by being called back to practice.

"When were you going to tell me," Tsukki asked me whe we were cleaning the gym. His eyes piercing through my soul. I gulped.

"Sorry, Tsukki. I just wanted to see how it went first before telling anyone anything. She is in our class, I think. Her name is Ko," I managed to get out smoother than I expected.

"We don't have a girl named Ko in our class," he raised his right eye-brow in suspicion. I tilted my head to the side in confustion.

"She said she was," I stated as we made our way to the locker room. He clicked his tongue and looked away. We didn't talk the rest of the time we spent together. When we went to walk our usual way Ko stopped us.

"Yama-chan," she waved running up to me. I smiled a little. She greated me with a hug. "You ready, I thought we could go to the park, they are holding a cool light show," she smiled brightly holding a flyer in my face.

"Uh yeah, that seems fun," I smiled a bit more back. "I'll talk to you later Tsukki," I looked up at him. He was glaring at Ko, as if she were some enemy. His head snapped in my direction when I said his name. "I'll see you tomorrow," I said more as a question than a statement.

"Whatever," he turned away and left without another word.

"What's with him," she stared at him as he sauntered off. I shook my head.

"He is always like that, let's get going before it gets to late," I smiled. She grabbed my hand and led the way. I've never held hands with a girl before. They always said I was to ugly to even look at, let alone touch. We walked like this for ages before turning down a dark ally.

"I think, we're lost," she sighed looking at her phone.

"That's fine, I think I saw a cool restaruant a few blocks back," I gestured back the way we came.

"I'm so sorry, you are such a nice guy," she let go of my hand. I cocked my head to the side. "But you just aren't my type," the look on her face changed to a devilish smirk.

"W...What," I stuttered. Before I could continue two pairs of hands grabbed me. My eyes widened when I realized what was happening. A shawdow appeared from the back of the ally with a bat in hand.

"You are a hard man to get now that you have your bodyguard back, I went through this much trouble to see you," Nubo, the meanest bully of the three of them laughed as he got closer to me. "Thanks for the help babe, she wants to be an actress, I think she can do it," he kissed her roughly as he smacked her ass. She giggled, then pouted.

"I had to touch it," she whined softly. He glared at me. I tried to escape but it was no use. They were bigger and stronger than me.

"Please," I begged tears starting to form. He laughed and grabbed me by the hair.

"Are you going to cry, again," he threw my head back. "I will give you something to cry about," he hissed raising the bat up. And with a loud boom I took a blow to the ribs. I cried out in pain as ribs continued to break and crack under every strike. Then a few kicks to the legs. I fell to my knees.

"Get up," Jen shouted. He was a big guy. Tall and fat, with a dog like face. When I didn't move he kicked me in the back, forcing me to the ground, face first. I coughed from the dust that flew up into my mouth at impact. A few more punches and kicks before they were forced to stop. A group of business men who were walking by stopped.

"HEY," I heard. I went to look but after one more fatal kick to my ribs everything went dark.
