The group arrived at the campsite and unpacked tents. Liam had brought a two person tent that Gen tried to helped him set up. "Gen! Pull the left side tighter."
Gen grabbed a corner and pulled.
"Your OTHER left, Genny!" Liam yelled, frusterated. He walked over with his hammer and pounded in the stake. "Go over there and hold that corner." He pointed to the other side of the tent. She walked over, giggling. "It's not funny!" he yelled.
"It's very funny. You don't get angry much and you are getting angry at a tent!"
Liam threw the hammer back into the bag that held the tent when it was folded. "I'm not angry at the tent." he said pouting.
Gen walked over, hugging him around his middle. "It's okay. You can be mad at me, too, if you want." She looked up, her eyes wide.
Liam smiled and leaned down, kissing her. "Thanks." he said. He looked down. "You have dirt on your face." He used his thumb to wipe a smudge off her face. "Why do your eyes look brown right now? I thought they were green?"
"What? You don't know my eye color?" Gen said, pretending to be offended. "It's like you don't know me at all!" She laughed.
Liam closed his eyes. "Fine. What color are mine, smarty pants?"
"Brown. A beautiful milk chocolatey brown that show everything you are feeling. I can tell what you are feeling just by looking in them. They are very expressive. Add in those eyebrows of yours and you can never lie to me." Gen replied.
"Those eyebrows? What are you trying to say about my eyebrows?"
Gen winked. "They are very....prominent."
Liam picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. "I think you just called my eyebrows bushy. Are you saying I have big eyebrows? Fine. You have weird eyes that aren't one color." He kissed her, hard.
Gen pulled back. "Actually, I have a genetic abnormality central heterochromia." Gen frowned at Liam.
"Oh, god! I'm sorry!" he said. "I didn't know! What does that mean? Is something wrong with your eyes?"
Gen burst out laughing. "It just means my eyes are two different colors. They are green with a brown center that looks like a sunburst. You are too easy! I guess I CAN fool you!" Liam squinted up his eyes at her, trying to look angry. "See? I can tell you aren't really angry." Liam let go of her legs, dropping her down, and turned to walk away. "Oh, don't be mad, you big baby."
Liam turned around, a huge grin on his face. "Guess I CAN fool you." This time, Gen pouted and Liam laughed, picking her back up. She wrapped her arms and legs back around him, melting herself into Liam, kissing him, over and over. "Thank you for coming." he mumbled.
"Thank you for asking me." she mumbled back, kissing once again, just because she could.
