It was a Thursday morning, and I didn't wanna go to school. I got up and went to see if my mom was here, but she wasn't so that means I had to go to school. I went back in my room to get ready for school until my phone rang. I picked my phone up, and answered the phone without looking at the ID. "Hello?" I asked. "Hey its Zayne," a voice o the other line said. "What do you want?" I asked sternly. "Can you forgive me of what I said?" he asked, and I clearly knew what he was meaning. "How could you even say that? I thought we were friends? Why did you say that you told me off?!" I yelled over the phone. I didn't even wanna hear his voice or what he had to say, so I hung up on him. That's when I called my mom telling her that I wasn't going to school. She told me it was fine, but it was my last time staying home.
Because of him I was stuck on my floor crying my eyes out. I couldn't believe him! I thought we were friends, but apparently not. I am so naive. I knew that it was time to just be alone. I remember having a friend that backstabbed me, but I don't even speak to her anymore. She was known as the Queen B at our school, Emma. Em and I had been friends ever since the 2nd grade, everyone said we were unseparateable because of our strong friendship. Last year in 6th grade, she backstabbed me and wanted more revenge on me. The reason behind her hating me was because her boyfriend had fallen for me, when I didn't wanna have anything to do with him. Her last words to me were, "You're gonna pay Aphrodite Grey!" So the next day she decided to do the honours of humiliating me in front of everyone. She told everyone about my parents dying in a car crash. I've always blamed myself of it because they died because of me.
*Flashback*
"Hun you ready for you're first play?" my mom asked. "Yes I am momma!" I squealed. "Well daddy will be home shortly to pick us up," she said. I was starring in Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs! I was Snow White, the leading role. My drama teacher was amazed how I, a fifth grader, had much talent in acting. I wanted to be an actor, like my mom when I grew up! My mom was the famous Amanda Grey! She was well known in Hollywood! I have always wondered how she became a big star, but she would always tell me she couldn't tell me her secret, that I had to find out myself. "Hunny! You're dad's outside waiting for us!" my mom yelled from outside. I ran to the car as quickly as I could! "Daddy!" I squealed as I got in the car. "Hey princess! Are you ready for you're first play?" he asked. I nodded.
We all sung to the music coming on the radio, until dad's phone rang. "Hunny-Bunny, can you get that for me?" daddy asked mommy. My mom looked at the contact ID, and she looked shocked. "Mommy? You okay?" I asked. No answer. "Robert! You have a lot of explaining to do!" my mom shouted. "About what honey?" daddy asked. "Really! You're cheating on me!" mommy yelled with tears in her eyes. I was terrified. "H-Honey, I can explain!" daddy said to mommy worriedly. "I dont wanna hear about it!" mommy cried. They fought and fought. "Mommy! Daddy!" I screamed, but it was too late. *Boom*
A semi truck smashed into us, sending us spinning. My mom looked at me, and told her that she loved me very much. The glass broke, and cut me. "Mommy! Daddy!" I screamed, while I cried. I kept getting cut by glass, and then we hit a pole. I opened my eyes to see a horrible sight, my dad's head was through the windshield and my mom was asleep with red stuff all over her. "Mommy, Daddy, you can wake up now," I said, but they didn't move. "Momma? Daddy?" I asked. They never got up, and that's when I passed out.
I woke up to a white room. It looked like I was in a hospital of some sort. "Aphrodite, I see you're awake," a woman said. "Where am I? Where's Mommy and Daddy?" I asked. She just gave me a sympathetic look. "Honey, you're dad didn't make it. He died in the car, and you're mommy is in a coma," she said sadly. "My dad's dead," I said, and I cried. That moment I started having a panic attack. "Calm down! Calm Down!" the woman kept yelling at me. I couldn't calm down. She gave me a shot, and I calmed down. "C-Can I see my mom?" I asked. She nodded, and helped me out of the bed. We went into room 143. I ran to my mom's side, and cried. "Please mom! Fight back! Don't leave me!" I cried.
Day after day, I went to see my mom. On the 4th week of seeing her, I stayed by her side. I would talk to her, even though she couldn't hear me. The 4th week of seeing her changed my whole life. *Beeeeeeeeeeep* I saw her die with my own eyes. "No! Momma!" I yelled. A nurse pulled me out of the room. "No let me back with my mother!" I screamed. "Honey no! She's dead!" she yelled. "N-No! She can't be!" I squealed in horror. "I'm so sorry!" she said.
*End of flashback*
That's when I was put in a foster home. My mom's sister took me under her wing. I know I should call her my Aunt, but she's the closest thing I have to a mother. Ever since she took me under her wing, I always thought of her as my mother. After watching my mother die, I gave up on becoming an actor. I climbed on my bed, and cried myself to sleep.
