Chapter Six-Explanation

I woke up and decided that it was time to tell Trevor the truth.

I walked downstairs and see Kian in the sofa. I rush pass him to get to Trevor's doorway.

I knocked.

"Whaat? It's only 11." 11. Really, Trev?

I walked in and say beside hi on his bed.

"I should tell you the truth about last night."

Trevor nodded.

"My first night here, me and Kian went out to Taco Bell really late. He ended up sleeping in my bed. We didn't do anything. But I kin of thought we were going to have something special. Then at the party, he was all over practically every girl that was here.."

I paused as if I were about to cry.

"It hurt so badly. Then I met Jc and he just made me so happy. He made me forget about Kian... For the night anyway.. He put a smile on my face. So he asked me and I said yes."

I stopped again.

Trevor nodded to go on.

"The next, well yesterday, we went on a date. We were going to spend all day together, then I got a text and call from Kian. I told Jc I had to go home because I was sick. When I got here, Kian started yelling at me. Then you came in."

This time, I felt a year run down my face.

"Trev, I wasn't fine. I wasn't fine at all. I was so hurt. I didn't want anyone to know how bad it hurt. I'm supposed to be strong.."

I laid on Trevor's bed and cuddled into his chest.

"I'm so sorry I lied to you.."

"Jama, look at me. Look at me."

I looked up and he wiped a year from my face.

"People hurt all the time. You're strong, but you have emotions and feelings. I don't blame you for doing what you did. Jc is a good friend. I respect that he had the nerve to ask you out. But Kian isn't a bad friend either. You have to make up somehow. We live together."

I nodded.

"I know, Trev. But I don't even want to talk to the shit. He was so sweet at first, but he was such a dick last night. Can't you talk to him?"

"Nope. You have to do this, Jay. You're strong. And if he refuses, then that's his loss. I love you. Now go, I'm tired."

He kissed my forehead and was practically exiled from my brother's bed.

I went to walk out the door and notice a shadow under the doorway.

I open the door quickly and see Kian jump up.

"What the fuck, Kian!"

"I..I am sorry, Jama. I didn't mean to hurt you. "

"Apology accepted."

"So you're going to break up with Jc?"

"Why would I do that? Jc is the sweetest kid ever. I really like him and were not breaking up became you apologize."

".. Okay.."

I rolled my eyes and ran to my room.

I have a few texts from Jc.

I decide to call him instead of texting him back.

"Hello?"

Oh, that morning raspy voice.

"Hey Jc."

I smiled through the phone.

"Oh, hey Jay. What's up?"

"I was thinking we could hang today since we couldn't yesterday. Is that okay?"

"Of course. Let me get ready. I'll be over in a few."

"Bye, love."

"I'll see you later, babe."

Butterflies. That's all I ever feel when I talk to Jc.

I jumped in the shower and got ready. As soon as I was done I heard a knock on the front door.

I ran down and see Kian and Jc sitting on the couch together.

Oh my god.

"I didn't know you lived with Jay?"

"Yeah, she just moved in from Wyoming. Me and Trev have been room mates since college."

"Oh, coo-"

Jc looked up and saw me walking down the stairs.

He stood up quickly and straightened his shirt.

"Jama. Wow."

I felt myself blush.

"Where do you want to go, love?"

"That's up t-" Jc was interrupted by Trevor.

He came up to Jc and whispered something in his ear.

"Oh that place is great. Thanks bro."

They did the whole 'Bro Shake' and we walked out the door.

We were eating and I decided it was probably time to tell Jc the truth about everything.

"Jc, we need to talk."
