(Me) "But dad I don't wanna move to L.A"
(Dad) "We've talked about this for weeks now Tiffany she will never replace your mother but we have to move on"
(Me) "but mom hasn't been dead three years and you've already found someone else it's not fair to mom"
(Dad) " I won't hear anymore of this we finish moving our things on Friday and that's final do you here me!"
(Me) "FINE but that doesn't mean I'll like her"
(Dad) "ok but who knows maybe you'll change your mind now get some sleep we have a lot of packing to do tomorrow"
(Me) "love you dad
(Dad) "love you to Tiffany"
I went to sleep that night thinking about what she was like and if dad was right maybe I would like her but i wasn't counting on it.
The next morning I woke up to dad talking to someone named Sarah and it was about my 16th birthday coming up a week from Friday instead of listening I went to start packing but there was nothing left to pack dad had packed it all last night then it hit me he was up to something for sure so I went to his room it was empty including every other room in the house except mine and I went down stairs like I had just woken up.
(Me) "hey dad how late were you up last night?" As I grabbed the eggs from the fridge
(Dad) "I couldn't sleep so I finished packing and I know but I said we would leave on Friday but if we finish by tonight we'll leave tomorrow morning if that's ok"
I didn't want to but I didn't want to disappoint dad so I said
(Me) "yeah it's ok"
I saw a smile appear on his face his eyes glistening with joy.
(Me) "hey dad when did Alison leave?"
(Dad) "she went to finish packing up the shop"
(Me) "oh but she's for sure coming with us right?"
(Dad) "yes for sure but Molly won't be up till Sunday she wanted to finish school before she left"
I looked at him with a fake smile and walked to the home phone and dialed Molly's dorm room
(Molly) "hello?"
(Me) "Molly! It's Tiffany dad told me you won't be up till Sunday and I just wanted to make sure your coming for sure"
(Molly) "of course sis I love you dad and Ali I would never disappoint you guys but have you heard from Jade?"
(Me) "what no why?"
(Molly) " well I talked to her last night and she said she was going to a party in Mc Call but that was at 9:00 last night I haven't heard from her and she said she would call tomorrow and she hasn't"
(Me) "what so she's missing does dad know?"
(Molly) "no and I would like to keep it that way till we here from her promise me you won't say anything I don't want him to worry ok?"
(Me) "ok but what do I tell him"
(Molly) "nothing but she'll be up on Sunday count on it ok?!"
(Me) "ok love you"
(Molly) "love you to bye"
(Me) "bye"
Then as I heard the front door unlock I ran to it to meet Alison to tell her what Molly just told me.
(Me) "Ali have you heard from Jade since last night at all
(Alison) "no why what happened"
She must have seen my worried look because she asked what was wrong.
(Me) "I just got off the phone with Molly and well Jade never came back to the dorm last night and hasn't called Molly"
(Alison) "what why didn't you call me"
(Me) "because dad doesn't know and Molly wants to keep him from worrying so don't say anything please"
(Alison) "ok but we need to find her before Sunday right?"
(Me) "right"
I went to finish packing up my room and when I came in my phone was ringing it was Jade
(Me) "hello Jade are you ok? Where are you?"
(Jade) "I'm ok my phone died in on my way home tell everyone not to worry I'll be home in an hour so don't worry"
(Me) "ok but dad doesn't know you were gone so don't say anything ok!"
(Jade) "ok love you see you in an hour!"
(Me) "ok you call Molly I'll tell Ali love you ttyl"
I hung up the phone texted Ali and went to the mall
