Felix
One month later
I had the ring. I had the message. I practiced a thousand times in the mirror. The night I fell asleep at my brothers house with Bridgette on top of me, I knew she was the one. I was going to do it. I was going to ask her. I texted her to meet me at the park. It was midnight, but I knew when she saw my text she would be up and ready within a few minutes. I drove to the park, with my heart in one hand and the box in the other. I saw her standing in the moonlight looking like an angel. Her long hair had some curl to it, and her tired face awoke when she saw me. She ran as fast as she could towards me. I kissed her and decided not to wait. I told her I loved her. I dropped to one knee and held out the box. I opened it and when she saw the ring her eyes widened. "Will you-" j was cut off.
"Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!" She yelled. She grabbed the box out of my hands and hugged me tight. Then, she kissed me. Her soft lips touched mine, and a tingle went throughout my body. I realized how nervous I was. She slipped the ring on her finger. Her eyes widened. "Is this a real diamond?!" She asked.
"Only the best for my Bridgette." My Bridgette. Mine. No one else's. Mine. I liked how that sounded.
"When can we get married?" She asked.
      "Whenever you want."
      "As soon as possible, then?"
      "Of course."
A few days later
Bridgette
I was so excited. I slipped on a fifth dress. It was white with a teal trim around the rim of the skirt. It flowed like it was air. It felt like butter. I zipped it up. "Ow!" I yelped.
" You ok in there?" Felix, who was outside the dressing room, asked. He was tired. I kept him up all night after he figured out the date for our wedding. "Help" I said.
"Unlock the door" he said. I did so. He walked in with one hand covering his face and the other out so he could feel his way around.
"I'm covered." I said, a little annoyed. If I was going to be his wife he needed to be a little less shy. He uncovers his face.
"Yore in a bit of a tangle, aren't you?"
" It better not hurt, kitty." Slowly, he untangled my hair from the zipper. He grabbed a nearby brush and brushed my hair out. It felt surprisingly good. I smiled and looked in the mirror. I could see him behind me. He looked so concentrated, like he was making sure not a single hair was pulled. He looked up and noticed me watching him. He put his chin on top of my head and smiled. I pulled down on his sweater and kissed him. "Is this one worth showing everyone else?" I asked. Marinette, Adrien, Marinette' s parents, my best friend and Maris friend Sophie and her boyfriend Jake, and my kitten, Fee, who was in a carrier. He was only there because Sophie had been taking care of him.
Felix grabbed my hand and opened the door. "You look amazing in anything, but I think this one suits you." I smiled.
"What did I do so deserve you?" I asked. He smiled.
"Existing" he answered. "But you deserve an outgoing, strong man."
" Where'd you get that from?"
"Your six pack embarrasses me." I rolled my eyes. "You may not be superman, but Albert Einstein would have looked up to you. He smiled at me. As we walked out, I grabbed his hand. He smiled and I heard everyone applaud. Definitely buying this dress, I thought.
The day of the wedding
As I walked down the isle I saw Felix, firm, stiff, and proper as ever. He looked at me and smiled. Though he saw me before the wedding, I knew bad luck didn't exist, because nothing was stopping me from walking down the isle. I smiled as he nodded. We went through the ceremony. " You may now kiss the bride. Felix kissed me. It was better than our first kiss and the one we had when we made up. "This is how it's supposed to be, right?" I asked.
He thought about it. "Well, I don't intend on having a child so yes, if you include the cat." I smiled. I threw the bouquet to Sophie but made it look like it was by chance. Maybe Jake will propose, but they've only went on coffee shop dates, so it will be a while. Maybe the way I threw my bouquet is the same way Mari did. Maybe the ladybug luck charmed the both of us. Maybe it wouldn't work out for the moth and the peacock, but I knew as long as I had Felix by my side I was perfect. Nothing could happen as long as he was by my side.
