"D-Do you think th-they're doing o-okay?" Geno asked his mom, with his usual sickly studder.

"Sweetie, I'm sure everything's going fine", CQ responded, with a reassuring look on her face. "Your brothers are probably having a good first day."

"But..." Geno was worried. "W-Without me there... I d-don't think it's the same f-for them."

"What do you mean, honey?"

"Well, I m-mean that, u-usually I'm the one th-that basically k-keeps everything together... b-between Error and F-fresh... and... I'm j-just worried they're g-going to get hurt..."

"Oh, Geno, I'm sure they're fine. Error would message you if there was something wrong, right?"

"Well... y-yeah... I-I guess..."

"Just trust me, hon, okay? I promise you everything is fine."

"O-okay...."

CQ tucked Geno into his covers, giving him a loving kiss on the forehead. "You should sleep until the boys get back home, okay?"

Geno nodded, snuggling up to the warm blanket.

"I love you, sweetie."

"I-I... love you too... M-mom..."

CQ left the room, and Geno closed his eyes. He fell asleep quicky, but was soon awoken by a ding! It was his phone going off. He grabbed the phone resting on his stomach, and read the notification:

Geno gasped. Oh no! he worriedly thought. Is Error okay?

He typed on the keyboard with his shaky fingers in response.

Geno sighed as he turned off his phone. I wish I was there right now, he thought. Then he slowly, but surely, fell asleep.

Error sighed as he put his phone in his pocket and went back in the school with Ink. He noticed Fresh was sitting alone on the other side of the table. Error was surprised he wasn't talking to the other people in their homeroom. He was just sitting there, staring at the wall.

"You should really talk to him, Error", Ink said, sitting across from him.

"Do you think this is the right time?" Error asked, aggrivated. "I don't want to bother with him."

"Oh come on, Error!"

"Don't 'oh come on' me! Today was going great until he decided to do something stupid that he knew he shouldn't have done!"

"But he didn't!"

"But he did! Being dumb is not a part of his 'condition'! He doesn't even listen to me!"

"Error..."

Their homeroom was called to buy lunch. Ink made his own lunch, but Error and Fresh had to buy. On the lunch line, they were standing next to eachother, but they didn't talk at all. When Error sat back down across from Ink, he played with his food.

Ink broke the silence. "You're still worried about Geno, aren't you, Error?"

Error put his food aside and lay his head on the table. "Why am I the one who has to suffer..."

Ink suddenly sounded serious, lightly banging his hand on the table. "What are you talking about?!"

"I'm the one who has to suffer the most out of all of us. Geno may be terminal, but he doesn't have to deal with a schizophrenic idiot that can't care less every single day!"

"Error stop i-"

Error stood up. "I am literally stuck in the middle of all of this! Geno is literally dying, Fresh doesn't care, and I have to suffer from both of them! Fresh could at least be nice about it!"

Ink stood up and jumped over the table so he could see Error face-to-face, and grabbed Error's jacket.The whole lunch table was staring at them, except for Fresh, who was looking the complete opposite direction.

"Error. I don't want to be rude, but you really need to stop. It's over, it's done, it happened in the past! It was just one incident and it's not like Fresh got into big trouble, okay? You take everything so literal and you get mad so fast, I can't just sit here and watch..." Ink started crying. "J-just... please Error... p-please stop!"

Error looked at Ink sobbing into his shirt. "Ink, I..." He couldn't form a full sentence, with Ink crying and everyone staring at him. Fresh was still avoiding looking at anything. Error started glitching and crying again. "I'm sorry Ink!" He forced Ink to let go of his jacket. "I don't deserve to be a brother!" He glitched away out of the lunchroom. The bell was about to ring for the next period, so Ink didn't bother chasing after Error. They would see eachother in their next class, anyways.

When Ink got to the next class, Fresh was sitting in the corner all by himself.

And Error was nowhere to be found.
