I stay in the bathroom, sobbing, all through fifth and sixth period. Finally, I leave the soggy bathroom stall and trudge to seventh period--algebra.
Throughout the whole class, I didn't pay attention. I know I should have, and trust me, I would have but I just couldn't stop thinking how Garrett looked at me after what happened. He looked as if he was about to laugh! Probably because I don't have plastic boobs like Amber and Leigh, but whatever.

After an hour of pure torture in detention, I trudge home. Every time I think about "the incident" I almost start crying again.
"What's your problem?!" I scold myself inside my head. "You never cry!"
At that moment, though, I walk up to our cozy cottage at the end of the street.
By 'our' you probably think of mom, dad maybe some brothers and sisters, but that's not what I mean at all. We have no father figure, for he was killed when HE was drinking and driving, therefor shutting out all possibilities for having a younger sibling. So, it's just me and my mom, and to be honest, I like it like this.
Before I walk inside, though, I wipe my tear-filled eyes and throw a big smile on my face, leaving no evidence at all that I had been crying earlier.
I don't need to add to my moms long list of worries, me already included!
"Hey, mama! What's for dinner? It sure does smell delicious!" My sweet, yet fake, voice carries throughout the house leading to my mom in the kitchen.
"Your favorite! Spaghetti and meatballs!'
"Your the best, mom! I love you so frickin much, and don't forget it! Call me when it's ready, though. I'm starving!"
