Dane's POV

*sigh*

It's been what? 4 years.... 4 long years of agony...

I thought that after Felice and Allison, I will never love again…

I am blaming myself for what happened to my baby… If only I was there… If only I showed my feelings to Erika… If only…..

4 years ago, I liked her.... I really thought that my feelings will not change... But destiny is really cruel to me because as time goes by, my feelings for her developed.... I don't know how did that happened because she left me. I don't know where she is but this feeling of mine, the ‘LIKE’ became ‘LOVE’.

Tell me, how in the world can I love someone who is far away from me? But yeah, it happened anyway. I know that she got an amnesia from the accident that happened to her. She didn't know me, that's the hardest part. I really want to say sorry to her and ask to come back but I think she is now happy with Vance. At least, that thought made me happy because she is happy. Her happiness is my happiness now.

*ring* *ring*

I looked at my phone to check the caller ID. It’s my dad calling…

“Yes dad?”

“Can you fetch your mom in the airport? I forgot that I have a meeting this afternoon.”

“Yeah sure dad. Bye” I ended the call and prepare myself to fetch mom.

~IN THE AIRPORT~

As I was waiting for my mom, there is someone who caught my eye…

Her body, the side of her face… Her physical appearance resembles the look of……

Allison

After she went to States, we still had some communications. Sometimes, she threw her tantrums at me through Skype. I just try to understand her because she is pregnant. Anyway, when I looked back again to the place where I saw the woman, she was not there anymore. Hmmm… must be my imagination I guess…

“Dane!” I turn around and I saw my mom smiling at me.

“Welcome back mom” I kissed her cheeks

“I really miss you my baby” she hugged me… Sometimes, she really is emotional.. I just rolled my eyes.

“Mom, you’re just away for two weeks.” I let go from the hug

“Brrrr…  You’re really a cold guy sometimes huh? I wonder where is Erika now” she whispered something but I didn’t hear it.

“Are you saying something mom?” I raised my brow.

“Oh nothing dear. I’m hungry, let’s eat at Mcdo” And like she said, we ate at Mcdo.

We had some catching up even though she was only away for two weeks and she asked me how I am doing with my life. I just shrugged at her. I don’t want to talk about my life now because seriously? I don’t know how I even survived for the past 4 years of my life.

“Hello Erika?” I heard the girl beside us said while she is holding her phone. I looked at her because she said ‘ERIKA’. UGH! I will be crazy because of Erika. What’s with my day anyway? First it was Allison then now it was Erika. Are these signs or what?

“You know, I really think that you missed her.” Mom has this playful smile at her face.

“Ehem. Who is this ‘her’ exactly?” I acted as if I don’t know who is she telling me. I ate my burger and looked away from her.
