I was walking my way to school. I didn't bother and waste my time waiting for the bus because I know I will be late anyway. I took out my phone and opened the Pokemon Go app. I was very excited until...
"Connection error, please try again later...!? What!? Blasphemy!I thought this was an offline game..."

So yeah, I can't play the game since there is not network connection around. But my hands are itching to get myself some pokemon! I thinked quickly and realised that I'm near a 7/11 shop. I didn't hesitate and ran to it's door.

I opened the door. I sniffed and it was a beautiful scent! The slurpees, the freshly made hotdogs. And that big sign of mobile data load hanging on the counter table! Yeah, I sniffed it...I'm weird.

Fortunately for me, there is no line waiting. "Excuse me, miss! I'd like to load up for my mobile data, please!" I asked. The booted up the computer on and asked for the number."It's..." And so,I recieved the load in a few seconds.

"Fantastic! Thanks, here's the ten dollar." I said. I gave her my money and she gave me back my change. I pushed the door open quickly and walked on.

This time, I'm pretty confident it will work. I opened the app once again and it did work now! "Awesome!" I obnoxiously yelled inside my head. Now it's my time to shine and train pokemon on my own and feel like a real trainer!

"This is a cool loading screen...!" The loading screen is just a message with a trainers shadow and a big gyarados with it's mouth wide open. I want a gyarados for myself too... "There we go!"

The gae started, finally! The data is pretty strong outside so I had no problems anymore.

Then the three Generation 1 pokemon popped in to my screen. "Awesome! Charmander and friends!" I was holding a coin and thanks to my clumsy hands, it fell off my grip. I chased it as it slowly roll away from me.

"Gotcha!"I got the coin, but it rolled a few feet away.

I got back on my phone. I was shocked on what I saw! The starter pokemon changed to Pikachu! "Oh, wait, what?!" I was confused! Why, how did that happen?

I got more excited to play the game! So since Pikachu is the only one available in my screen, I chose him and I was sent to a small minigame. A catching minigame where you have to try catch the pokemon you found. Pikachu looks so yellow and cute! "This game is amazing!" I said to myself. I'm basically only talking to myself because I walked alone.

"Alright, Pikachu... Don't fail me!" I swooped the pokeball to Pikachu. It's like the basketball game in the messenger app of facebook.

I booped Pikachu in the head in one try! And like the good ol' Pokemon games, once a pokemon gets in a ball, the suspence kicks in...The pokeball slammed shut and 'fell'.

1 shake...
2 shakes...
3... Click!

I got him in one try!I was very happy I caught him. "Yeah! Pikachu as my starter pokemon! I feel like I'm Ash Ketchum or Red..." I joyfully said.

'Now begins your new adventure as a Pokemon trainer' Heck yes, I was waiting for this moment since I was a kid! And now I'm off to do things on my own. Not much of a tutorial, but I can learn on my own! I don't need too much help to learn on something.

I was shown in a GPS or something. Like a map. Few steps ahead, there is a Pidgey. "Oh, cool! I'd like to have a. Pidgeot one day!" I said as I walk to the said Pidgey.

I walked near it and tapped it on my screen. "Oh, I got this." It's catching time! I threw a pokeball, but it missed. "Darn...! Stop moving and let me have you!" I stomped on the ground. I threw another ball at him and booped it in the head.Yes!

I didn't know they can avoid your Pokeballs...Better be prepared...
