{Abi's POV}
"So, bus boy, how old are you?" I said as I stepped off the bus
"Bus boy? Huh?" He said, confused
"Yeah, since you won't tell me your name, that's what I'm gonna call you from now on" I smirked
He laughed, and I swear to god it was the most beautiful sound I had ever heard in my life.
"I'm 17, how about you bus girl?"
"I'm turning 17 in a month, and you can't call me bus girl when you already know my name" I stuck my tongue out at him.
He laughed again, and I felt butterflies in my stomach. I tried to ignore them, but damn, it was so hard.
"What are you doing today?" He asked.
"Literally nothing. My mom kicked me out the house because apparently I've been spending too much time indoors" I said, rolling my eyes "I was hoping to find some place with wifi but I can't find anywhere"
He thought for a moment. "I know a place!"
"I've been coming here a lot lately, they have really good muffins" he said excitedly "I'm gonna buy you one, and maybe one for myself...or five"
I giggled and sat down at one of the tables, it wasn't long before he returned with two muffins and some hot chocolate. I reached for my purse to pay him for the food but he refused and said it was on him.
"Are you gonna take your clothes off?" I questioned
"Abi, are you asking me to strip in front of you?" He laughed whilst taking a bite of his muffin
"No!" I said with a smile, "I was just wondering why you have all that stuff on" I pointed to his sunglasses, coat and hat
"I-I just needed to get away from things, it's complicated, you wouldn't understand, I'm sorry" he said sadly
Anytime I asked this guy about his identity, he sounded super sad and went quiet, so I decided not to ask anymore questions. I took a bite of my warm triple chocolate chip muffin, and he was right, they were delicious. "ohmYgod, this is so good!"
He smiled at me for a moment. "Hey, you have a little....um" he said, pointing to my mouth.
"Where? Here?" I asked, trying to get the chocolate stain off my face
He chuckled softly. "Here, I'll get it"
He leaned over the table and rested his hand on my cheek, leaving it there for a moment before wiping his thumb across my lips slowly, once again leaving his thumb on my lips for a few seconds. His hands were so warm, so soft, so smooth. I looked at him, trying to see his eyes underneath his dark shades, our foreheads were almost touching now. He quickly removed his hand from my face and looked embarrassed.
"Did you get it?" I spoke softly
"Yeah" he smiled before taking another massive bite of his muffin, now getting chocolate all over his own face.
