CALLEN'S POV:

"Who is that?" Special Agent Kensi Blye pointed to a young brunette woman who was sitting at Hetty's desk.

Special Agents G. Callen, Sam Hanna and LAPD Detective Marty Deeks were all seated at their desks with Kensi. The young brunette woman's back was facing them so they could not see her face. The woman was having a relaxing chat with Hetty.

"I have no idea. Hetty's been secretive and ansty lately. Maybe this has something to do with it?" I replied.

"Yeh, maybe" Sam spoke up.

Deeks was rocking on his chair staring at the two women in deep conversation.

"You know, she looks young but if I'm not mistaken by the way she walked, she walks like Callen." Deeks chirped in.

All three agents whipped their heads around to glare at Deeks. The latter gave them an innocent shoulder shrug and a sheepish smile.

"What? I'm just pointing out...maybe she's a fed?" He spoke again to make his point clear and to get rid of the glares given his way.

ORIGINAL POV (ANTONIA):

I was sitting opposite a small old woman who is famous in the NCIS organisation. her name is Henrietta Lange. She and I are sipping our cups of chamomile tea while discussing OPS and my new transfer to the LA office.

"It will be a pleasure to have you on my team Miss Rodriguez. I'm sure you will fit in well." Hetty spoke fondly to me.

I looked happy and could tell that Hetty was happy for me to be here too due to the small upwards twitch in her lips when she spoke those words. "Thank you, I look forward to working with your team."

"Is there anything I need to be aware of that I already do not know or cannot find out , miss Rodriguez?" she looked at me sternly so that I would know that she is being serious.

"Em, ah...now that you have mentioned it yes." I looked cautiously around me as if to tell her I didn't want anyone to know what I am about to tell in her. "I have a daughter. She is turning two in a month. At the moment she is with a friend in Spain until I have completed getting my house decorated here." I spoke up.

Hetty looked at me as if to examine every word I said to her. She did not show an emotion out of place. She replied back "having a child is a precious thing I hope your house is complete soon, miss Rodriguez, in order for your child to be here soon. You are now a part of this team, meaning you are family. Your daughter is family also and that is how she will be treated." she smiled up at me. "Now, let's go and meet the rest of your new team."

And with that we walked off out of her small open office space, that has no doors or windows to separate it from the rest of the OPS center, towards the space that is occupied by four agents sitting at desks writing reports.

Just before we get to the other agents I stopped at spoke up to Hetty. "Erm, Hetty."

Hetty stopped short of hearing my voice. "Yes dear?"

"Can you not mention my daughter to anyone for the time being? It's just that people tend to get a little judgy sometimes, being as young as I am." I said.

She looked at me with a sad smile and nodded her head slightly.

"Of course, however, you do need to tell them sometime. It cannot be kept a secret forever and I'm sure that my agents will be all forthcoming and not be, as it is called, stereotypical." she replied understandingly. Hetty then looked back towards the four agents at their desks in front of us. As soon as she does they look down at their paperwork trying to look busy and not like they were staring at us a few short seconds ago. They were obviously curious and eager to know who I am.  "Well looks like they are very curious to know who you are. Let's go shall we."
