Kalems Pov;

to death do us part i love you with every beat of my heart and i swear...

I sighed as i turned off the tv. I had had enough of listening to love songs i was putting myself into a deeper depression. Its been a month and she still hasnt contacted me i tried to give her space but
going this long without her is killing me! i miss her touch and smile and the loving way she would look at me when i walked into the room.

i needed to show her im serious about her and not Roxy. I decided to call my mum for advice.. this should be interesting, ive never opened up to my mother this way.

"hi dear, long time no talk! how are you?"

"hey ma. Im fine and i know its been a while"

"you know you can come over whenever you want your father and i miss you."

"i know, i will change it i promise. but i rang for a reason i need advice"

"whats wrong baby?"

"theres a girl i really like but i kind of screwed it up with her, i want her back but i dont know what to do or say"

"invite her over for dinner next weekend, im holding a family barbeque i'll talk to her"

"okay ma, ive gotta go"

"love you baby"

"love you too"

i hung up the phone. Great now all ive got to do is convince amelia to come to my parents for the night.

Amelias pov;

ahhh! seriously! ive been trying to stay out of trouble yet it manages to follow me wherever i go.

A few weeks pass and i have my face tattooed on my bosses back, kalem goes home with roxy and appears out of the blue to tell me he loves me and shaun has not talked to me since our encounter at indian cuisine. Last month i was wishing i had a boyfriend and now i just want to be left alone.

speaking of the devil my phone started vibrating. i wonder who it was.

'Hey cutie, its shaun i havent seen you in ages! we should meet at the park and go for dinner together?'

'yeah okay, be there in 20 minutes'

i couldnt help but feel the excitement build in my throat as i re-read the text contemplating what to wear. In the quickest 20 minutes of my life I ran to my wardrobe and picked out a cute little white babydoll dress with a gold chunky necklace and black and gold heels. i applied foundation, eyeliner and a little red lipgloss skipping a little as i left the house. Thanking the lord i knew how to apply makeup quickly from beauty classes.

i found him sitting on the swing set he looked so handsome; his hair was glowing from the sunset rays, he looked sunkissed and his muscles rippled under his black shirt. He smirked as if he knew i was checking him out.

"you look so gorgeous amelia" i felt a blush creep on my face as i greeted him.

"thanks. not too shabby yourself" i teased lightly punching his arm
