Skater Girl

Chapter One

I was riding home from the park. Tomorrow I started highschool. I had been home schooled for middle school in a different city. I lived here when I was young. I only moved back with my mom a few days ago.

I was riding when my phone beeped. I flipped my board and caught it in the air. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and kept walking. I was tired and I wasn't in the mood to be messed with.

I saw my online friend was texting. He used my nickname so I knew something was up and I wanted to make sure he was okay.

I bumped into some guy. He was tall and handsome​. He and I fell and I dropped my phone. I picked up my phone and scurried to my feet. I looked at him and he growled. I just wanted to go home. He looked my age and it might be good to have friends going into highschool. I tried to talk to him and apologize. "I'm so sorry. My name is Skylar, I didn't see you." I smiled politely and he just growled and rolled his eyes. "I didn't hurt you did I?" I questioned. He just stormed off.

I signed and looked at my phone to see the texts. Fc had said he was moving so he had to cancel tonight's game. I frowned and grabbed my board. He never canceled a game. We always had fun. He was a great fighter but I had to heal him a lot because I'm a mage. He liked to just run in and slash at things. I had become a powerful mage from healing him and leveling up. I texted him back to ask if anything was wrong. I waited for a couple minutes. I got home with still no answer.

I went online and began to train. I began to grow tired. After a few hours my mom yelled to come down for dinner. I ran down stairs. Tonight it was tacos. I loved tacos. Desert was cupcakes. I smiled and sat at the table as my phone beeped. I hoped it was Fc so I reached to check it when my mother walked in with the food stating

"No mija. it's time for dinner so turn your phone off."

I obediently turned off my phone and smiled to say I was ready. She put the plate down and told me to dig in. I put two tacos on my plate to start and I started eating as my mother started to talk about the plans for tomorrow.

She grined and started talking "So in the morning I will wake you up at six am so you can shower and then do your hair and some makeup if you want. I will make sure your bag is near the door so you can grab it on your way out. Remember you'll have to start walking around six forty-five or seven so you can be there by seven-thirty. I will try to get in contact with my old friends and check out the jobs. We will be fine. Okay?"

I swallowed the bit of taco in my mouth and nodded. If I was honest about everything I would cry and tell her I didn't wanna go to school tomorrow. I mean starting at a new school is bad enough but a new school, in a new city where everybody probably already has friends?!  That's worse than death.

I finished dinner fast so I could check my texts and play my game. After I cleaned my plate I thanked my mom and ran upstairs as I turned on my phone. I plopped down on my bed to check my messages from Fc

Fc: Yeah I'm fine. Just moving to a new house and getting ready for a new school year tomorrow. How about you? Are you ready to start school?

Shu/Me: I guess but I'm scared that because of my homeschooling nobody will like me or wanna be my friend.

Fc: Anybody would be lucky to be friends with someone as cool as you. I gotta go. My parents are calling some stupid family meeting before school and its mandatory. Sorry. Talk to you tomorrow?

Shu: Of course. Good night Fc.

Fc: Good night Shu

I grabbed my pajamas and went to take a shower. After I was done it was almost midnight so I decided to call it a night and go to bed. I crawled under the covers and plugged my phone. I set it on the table next to my bed and closed my eyes.

That was the first chapter of my new story! I'm so glad to be back on wattpad so I can enjoy everything. Hope everybody is having a good day or night depending on where you live. Anyway thanks for reading my story. BYE!
