Chapter One .
Introducing Nya .
" Damn Ma ! Where You at ? " I was Standing outside THS , Trileen high school .
It was half past five and I told her to be leaving to come get me from practice at five . I sat down on the bench and waited for another five minutes when I seen a red apple colored honda civic roll up infront of me . I coudnt see through the dark tented windows who it was but it wasn't my mother for sure , I heard the lyrics from Jay Z' new hit featuring kanye west booming loud through the windows . The window slowly came down and in the drivers seat was someone I've never seen before , he had long dreads with red tips , shoulder length with a cute baby face .
" Aye shorty , you need a ride ? " . He asked turning the loud tunes down .
" Nah , I'm Okay my Mom Should Be Here Soon "
" Oh I see , but its cold out here you can come sit in the car and I can wait here with you till she comes ."
I looked around , and thought well it is kinda cold , and I honestly had no clue at all when she would be here , i've been waiting for almost and hour.
I got up , and walked over to the passenger door and stood there debating on wheather I should get in or not . interrupted by my thoughts
" Don't worry , I ain't gonna try nothing , I just know how it feels when you don't got your own ride , out here waiting on someone who should've already been here , lord knows my momma gave me hell with that situation too many times."
I Let Out a Giggle and Thought about how true that was Then I got In the Car . When I Looked over to say thank you I noticed the person I was referring to as a boy was actually girl. I Started to think to myself , that explains the baby face and the low soft voice . I looked out the car door window and prayed my mom would soon roll up so this wouldn't be so akward . interrupted by my thoughts once again . she had a habit of interrupting me from my thoughts. she asked.
" yo you good ? you seem alittle tense , you scared or something ."
" Never scared of anything , I Just have alot on my mind . " I Shot Back.
" Okay Ms.Smart ass ! ." She Replied
I laughed and Let Out A Sigh .
" So what's Your Name ? " I asked .
" my name is Dee and you
beautiful? "
I ignored the compliment compliment in reply with
" nice to meet you dee , I'm Nya Though , how come I've never seen you around ? ."
She smiled , I have to admit the way she smiled , turned me on in sn akward way .
" I just moved here from Chicago a couple of months ago and I'm just now setteling down you know . " she said
" why'd you move out here to Salem ? "
" my mom and dad are opening up a business and they wanted me and my sister to go to school near . "
" how do you like it so far ."
" I mean its okay , I'm not used to the weather out here though ."
I laughed .
" Yea That's because chicago's alittle too cold ." I said With a Smirk
She Laughed , and I almost melted in my seat she had the sexiest laugh , not to mention she was a girl , I looked at her as her iphone started to vibrate on the dash , she took the phone and looked as if she were checking the caller ID to see who it was.
" I'm Sorry I have to take this ." She said In her Accent .
" Okay Its fine . " I Said Calmly .
I Looked at her as she stepped out the car and answered the phone . I looked around and decided to call my mom , I took my phone out of my coat pocket and dialed her cell .
" Hello . " A Loud Voice On the Other End yelled into the phone
" Mom where are you , I'm waiting "
"shit , Sanya I completley forgot I had to come get you , im dropping off your little brother at practice and I'll be there as fast as I can "
" Maaaaaaaa ! " I yellled . " Fine Just Hurry Up ive been out here for a hour already " .
" Girl don't be god damn yelling at me I told you I'll be there in
a minute ."
" Alright ma , sorry ." I giggled .
She hung up the phone and I put my phone back in my pocket , I looked over out the drivers window and saw Dee yelling into the phone , that must be her girlfriend I thought . I found myself checking her out from head to toe , she was dressed in a northface hoodie , Nice dark denim jeans and some high top polo boots , and her dreads down . Her swag was hella nice and I admired that . As well as her smile. She got in the car and quickly apologized for taking a long time
" I was talking to my ex." she said
" oh , its fine ." I said
"My mom is on her way anyways ."
" oh , forreal . I had a nice time talking to you Nya ." she said with a grin .
" maybe we can hang out sometimes ."
" Yeah." I said " May-beee we can "
My moms BMW was approaching behind dee's car
" look that's my moms car but thanks again for letting me get in your car."
" oh your welcome beautiful anytime."
I got out of the red honda .
