I walk over to my parents smiling big. My mom rushes over to me.

N-"my baby! You graduated. Did you tell that old dusty pig off like I told you?"
I-"yes mama."
N-"good because I was bout tired of his ass"
I-"I know."
E-"congrats big bro. Look at you, all smart and shit.... I mean stuff"
My mom glares at her
I-"thank you beautiful."

Egypt is my world, and everyone knows it. She started off as shy and quiet because she got picked on about her weight. Then, she hit puberty next thing I know niggas coming at her left and right. When she started high school she came out of her she'll making me proud. Then there's my other sister Arria, that girl is something else. That's my other baby. She will tell you off in a split second without a care in the world.

I-"Where is Arria bad ass and Reece?"
E-"they went to go get your gifts."
I-"gifts?" I raise my eyebrow
E-"yeah, we all-"
D-"I'm proud of you Israel"
I-"thanks dad"
E-"I love how you just cut me off. With your rude ass" she mumbles the last part.
I chuckle while wrapping my arm around her shoulder. Reece and Arria come around the corner holding 4 gift bags.
E-"open mine first Rael!"
She hands me a gold bag. I open it and pull out a picture frame and a necklace box. The picture frame has a collage of pictures of just the two of us over the years. I open up the box and find a locket. I open it and it has a picture of us as babies with the words brother and sister by force best friends by choice. I put the necklace on. I give her a big hug and kiss

I-"thank you baby girl I love it. This means a lot"
E-"you welcome my nigga. No need to shed tears. Real Gs don't cry" she says as she pops her imaginary collar.
R-"mine next!"
Reece hands me a small gift bag. I open it revealing a silver Rolex. I dap him up
I-"thank you bruh. Ima wear this to lunch"
Arria hands me her bag.
A-"look I don't have money like them so you gonna have to settle"
I-"I got you lil sis" I chuckle
She gave me a photo album full of family pictures
A-"I did this because Egypt wanted to be selfish and give you pictures of just y'all two."
E-"you big mad or little mad. Everyone knows he doesn’t like you"
A-"how about I shove my foot up you as-"
I-"hey I love all of y'all, stop it"
Egypt snuggles her head in my chest while sticking out her tongue. Truth be told, Egypt is my favorite. I don't know why but we've been joined at the hip since I can remember. I treat all my siblings the same when we're all together. But Egypt knows deep down where we stand.

My dad hands me a tiny gift bag. I open it up to reveal a key.
D-"we got you an apartment. The first 6 months rent is paid. You can handle the rest."
I-"aye that's what's up. Thanks y'all."
N-"you earned it"
I kiss both of their cheeks.

I spot my god mom across the hallway.
E-"mom I'm gonna go see La'zelle."
She just nods. I shrug and skip over to her.
E-"ZellyPooh!"
L-"hey sexy mama"
E-"y'all are coming to the lunch right?"
L-"yeah girl you know it"
E-"good because I got some tea"
L-"ooh girl. You know I can't wait"
I spot Josiah and Isis coming around the corner.
E-"hey Icey and Jojo"
I-"hey lil mama"
J-"hey E baby."
I look around for Kareem.
E-"where my best friend?"
J-"he went home. He will be back later"
I nod. I watch as Wade and Nyris walk up. I start to blush. I've low key had a crush on Nyris since I first met him.
Ny-"hey Eazy-E" I blush
E-"hey Ny."
W-"Wussup baby girl?" He says with a smile plastered across his face.
E-"hello D Wade."
Israel walks over.
I-"congrats Jo"
J- he nods "same bruh." They dap each other up.
I-"you going out tonight?"
J-"nah me and Kareem hanging out tonight."
I-"oh I see you bro, do ya thang!"
J- he chuckles "but we can meet up tomorrow if you want."
I-"ight bet. Egypt baby you you riding with me?"
E-"you already know."
I-"you gonna have to find a ride home though. You know the deal."
W-"she can ride with me and Nyris"
