The Red Room Webcast

Chapter 2

Ben woke up, got his flannel, tie, and khaki pants on. He went to make breakfast for stella. He waited for an hour or two but she didn't wake up. He frowned and checked in the bedroom. She was just then waking up. He sat next to her on the bed, putting one hand on the bed to hold himself up, the other on her neck. Stella used her hands to hold onto his by his tie to hold him close. She told him goodbye before he stood, then headed to his car. He went to work but got home early.

When he got home, he looked around for stella couldn't find her. He got suspicious and called her phone. He heard her phone going off. Ben followed the ringing until he got to her desk, where her phone was. Ben frowned and tried not to think about if she was doing something bad or if she was hurt. Instead, he grabbed leftover pizza, went to his room, and started playing WoW. Eventually Stella came home and came into the bedroom. "Oh! You're home!" She looked at him.

"Why is there blood on your arm?!" He pointed at her arm. Stella's eyes widened a little and looked down.

"Oh, well crap..." she chuckled. "Earlier I had a really messy nose bleed and i guess I didn't get it all" she threw up her arms and walked to the bathroom, washing it off. Ben instantly knew something was up so he headed to the bathroom and closed the door, leaning against the wall and having his first panic attack in weeks.

Stella just grabbed some food and went to bed, since she was tired. Ben started thinking, "she's never told me what her job is.... I don't think she even has one.... then where is she all day? Is she cheating on me? No, she would never... She loves me... Right?" He started crying, not able to bear (bare?) the thought.

Ben slid into bed and listened to stella's mumbles. Something about dishes, video games, ben, Red Room, music, kids, cupcakes, something about being called blondie, wait... RED ROOM?!
