As I'm waiting at the theater for Sam, I get a call from my sister Kylie. "Hello?" "Hey Cole, we're on our way." She said before hanging up. I was a bit excited for this date. Being as flexible as she was, she's always wanted to see Cirque Du Solei and they finally came to Texas, in Frisco actually. Somehow I managed to snag two suite tickets through my dad's company and Sam can finally see the show. The suite gives us food and drink, no alcoholic beverages since we're under 21, but we get nourished and get a great view of the show. I couldn't wait to see the look on Sam's face when she figured out what we were doing. There was a honk and it shocked me out of my thoughts. I smiled and rolled my eyes when I saw that it was Kylie with Sam. I made my way over to the car as Kylie opened Sam's door. Damn... Sam looked amazing. I watched her get out of the car. "You look... Beautiful Sam. Really gorgeous." I said, blindfolding her, and taking her hand. "Thank you Cole. But why are you blindfolding me?" She asked softly, a blush creeping across her face as we headed inside. "Our date's a surprise and I don't want you to see what's going on until we're fully inside." I showed the security guard our tickets and he led us to the suite. Once we got there, I took off Sam's blindfold. "Here we are." She looked around the suite, at the stage and then at the programs lying on the love seat.
"Oh my god! You did not! Cirque Du Solei? I've been dying to see one of their shows. Thank you so much Cole. I love you!" She says wrapping her arms around my neck in a hug. I was caught off guard, not only because of the hug she attacked me with but also because of the fact that she said she loved me. I got over my initial shock and hugged Sam back. "Do you really mean that?" I asked as she pulled away. Confusion crossed her face, and was slowly replaced with realization. She nodded slowly looking up at me. I gently caressed her face before cupping it and pressing my lips to hers. Her hands made their way up my torso to my chest, grabbing a hold of my blazer. One of my hands remained on her cheek while the other made its way down her body to wrap around her waist, holding her close to me. We remained kissing for what seemed like a lifetime until there was a knock at the door, causing us to move apart. I wiped my mouth and straightened my jacket before answering it. "Last call for food orders." The waiter said. I went over to Sam and quickly looked over the menu with her. "I want the seafood ravioli and Sam wants the Chicken Parmesan." I said to the waiter. "And drinks?" "One Lemonade, One Iced Tea and can you bring an extra cup? Thank you." Sam said, not giving me a chance to speak. The waiter nodded and wrote down our orders before disappearing off, closing the door behind him.
"How'd you know I wanted an Arnold Palmer?" I asked Sam as I rested my hands on her waist. She smiled up at me as she wrapped her arms loosely around my neck. "How'd you know I wanted Chicken Parmesan?" She countered. I chuckled. "I guess we just know each other really well." I said before pecking her forehead and then resting mine against hers. "So about those letters..." I started, unsure of how to bring up the topic. Sam looked up at me with a fake innocent look on her face. "What about the letters?" She asked, a wry smile on her face. Oh this girl was really going to get it. "Samantha Farrah Viceroy, you know perfectly well what I'm talking about." She let out a giggle at my attempt to be serious. It had the complete opposite effect as what I was going for. "Alright, alright. No need for all three names Mr. Cole Alan Pendery. I read the letters and I think they were really sweet. I didn't realize that the make over had that big of an effect on you, I mean to me it seemed like you still thought of me as one of the guys, you just realized that I had a vagina and not a penis. That's why I started dating all those guys. I hoped that if you saw that other guys had interest in me, maybe you'd get jealous and tell me that you want me for yourself. But that didn't happen." She said looking at me for a reaction. "Oh trust me, I was jealous alright but I thought the dating guys had nothing to do with me. I thought it was part of your new found status and I mean, who was I to stop you?"
Sam blushed and kissed my cheek. "That's sweet, but I always liked you, ever since you sent me that note asking me to be your girlfriend when we were little." "Really?" I asked. She nodded. "Yeah. I thought you were the coolest boy in school. And since we hung out all the time, I always bragged that you liked me best, out of all the girls in school." I chuckled. "Well you were right about that. I did like you the best." We both laughed and as we were in a fit, the waiter came in with our food on a rolling cart. He seasoned our foods with cheese and pepper to our liking, pausing to let us know that the show was starting, before leaving. I made the Arnold Palmers before sitting down on the love seat, placing the drinks on the coffee table. Sam placed our plates down before taking a seat next to me. We began eating our food as the lights when down and the show began.

Sam couldn't stop going on and on about the show as we exited the arena. "Oh my god! That show was amazing! All their flips and aerials. And then the trapeze and ropes? Just amazing!" She gushed as the vallet brought my car. I opened the door for Sam and she got in, still going on about the show. I got in on my side and buckled in before starting up the car. I began driving towards the city of Dallas to go to the hotel. "Um' Cole?" She said. "I think you missed the turn to go home." I smiled. "I know. We're not going home. I told you I got you an overnight bag." I said. "Then where are we going?" She asked, very confused. "Just wait and see baby." I said, taking her hand with my free one and stroking the back of it with my thumb. I pulled up to the hotel, getting out on my side with the valet helping Sam out of the vehicle on her side. I gave him the keys before going to Sam's side and taking her hand. I walked Sam into the hotel and led her to the elevator. In the elevator she turned to me. "You got us a hotel room?" She asked, looking up at me. I nodded as I took her hands. "I wanted tonight to be special for us." I said softly, before picking Sam up and carrying her to the room. I unlocked the door to the suite and let us in, closing the door behind me with my foot and then gently placing Sam on the bed. "Now I think you can figure out why I got this room. We don't have to. I have movies here in case you wanna-." I was cut off by her lips on mine. Sam was sitting up on her knees on the bed and was undoing my tie and shirt as she kissed me.
The kisses were tender and in no way greedy. We were taking our time with the preparation rather than trying to get down to things. Sam pulled away to get my tie off and completely unbuttoned my shirt before pushing it off along with my blazer. "Now let me undress you." I said moving back slightly. I reached behind her to unzip her dress, slowly sliding it down her body. I carefully took off her heels and tossed them to the side with her dress. She then sat up to undo my belt and pants, pulling them off. As we both stood there in our underwear, we took in each other's half naked appearances and knew that this was it.

The next morning I woke up naked, in bed with Sam. She hummed slightly in content as she pulled my arms tighter around her. I chuckled, nuzzling her shoulder. "Morning baby." She said softly. I smiled. "Morning Sammy." I said, planting soft kisses on her neck. She giggled and rolled over to face me. "Last night was amazing." She said, stroking my bare chest. "It sure was." I said in response. As I kissed her on the lips, it was confirmed in my thoughts that Sam was the one who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

A/N: As you can tell, I'm really far behind with my fanfiction schedule. At this point I should be getting ready to put up the third book in the Stars In Your Eyes Series but I still have 2 chapters and an epilogue to put out for the first book. I don't know but I've been struggling with keeping up my creative juices for these books. I don't know it's the PoV format of the book that's giving me trouble, or if I just need to take a break from fanfiction.
So after I finish I Bet, I'm going to take a little break. I'm still going to be writing my fanfictions, probably so I can get the next books written and out of the way, but don't be expecting me to post them. I might post them if I feel up to it, or if I feel that I have a good portion of the book written, but if I do upload don't expect me to be diligent with updating. But have no fear, I will be putting out something during this break period. It won't be a fanfiction but an original story. I hope you guys will give it a chance since you know me as a fanfiction author, but I have a really good idea for it and I'm bursting with ideas. It's called After so go check it out and add it to your libraries.
My hopes are that this non-fanfiction will bring back my creativity and imagination so that I can make the rest of the Stars In Our Eyes series amazing. Thank you so much for all your dedication and commitment to me and my works and hopefully you'll stick around through this break and see me through.
XOXO, Eden
(And can we just say awwwwwww for the adorable Cam date.)
