Percy's P.O.V

We went back through Olympus and took the elevator back down to Manhattan.

"Where are we supposed to look?" Grayson asked. "We can't go all over the globe searching in only four days."

"Poseidon said that there was this Titan that had the tarnhelm," Kendall said.

"The titan's name was Selene. Any idea where she would be, Annabeth?" I asked.

"Well, she's the moon goddess. She also is the mother of Dionysus. There's not much to say about her, she disappeared decades ago," Annabeth said.

Kendall pulled her laptop out of her backpack and flipped it open.

"So, basically, we still have no idea where she could be," Grayson said.

"Wait, take a look at this," Kendall said. "Apparently, she fell in love with a mortal, Endymion. Zeus granted him eternal youth and immortality. He was placed in a cave near the peak of Lydian Mount Latmos in a state of eternal slumber. Where is Mount Latmos?"

"I've heard of that before, it's in the Besparmak Mountains," Annabeth said.

"That's all the way in Turkey!" Grayson exclaimed.

"How do you know that's in Turkey?" Kendall asked.

"I know more than you think, my dad watches a lot of documentaries," he replied.

"How are we supposed to get there?" Annabeth asked.

"Well, a plane would be the fastest way," Kendall started.

"No!" I interjected.

"Poseidon kids can't travel in planes, Zeus will literally shoot them out of the sky," Annabeth explained. "Especially with all of this stuff with Zeus and Hades going on right now."

"Great, so how are we supposed to get there and back in four days?" Grayson asked.

"Our only other option is a boat," Annabeth said.

"How are we supposed to get a boat?" Kendall asked.

"I think I may have an idea," I said smiling.

We hopped a bus to Pier 64 off of the Hudson River.

Once we got down there, I led us down the Pier until I spotted the boat I was looking for, the Vestas sailboat. I ducked down behind a speedboat and the others followed.

"Annabeth, a plan would be nice right about now," I said eyeing the boat as two big guys were talking in front of it.

"Wait, we're going to steal a boat?" Kendall asked.

"We're just borrowing it, we'll put it back right where we found it when we get back," I reasoned.

"If we get back," Grayson muttered.

"I'm kind of trying to stay positive here, Grayson," I said shooting him a look.

"Our best bet is probably to just try to sneak by them and then Percy, you can get us out a little ways so they can't catch us, Kendall you handle the ropes, I'll get the anchor, and Grayson you distract them," Annabeth said.

"Great," Grayson said sarcastically.

"Grayson, please?" Kendall pleaded.

"Fine," he said. He rose from his crouching position and walked towards the two guys.

"Would you guys be interested in a boat?," Grayson started.

"We're kind of tight on money right now-," one of the guys said.

"Oh, no worries, it's free! Yeah, follow me," Grayson said and walked off.

They shot each other a suspicious glance before following him into the biggest boat on the dock.

I waved Annabeth and Kendall ahead and they tried to casually run up to the sailboat. We stepped onto the boat as Annabeth worked on pulling up the anchor, Kendall untied the ropes, and I hoisted the sails.

"Hey!" one of the guys shouted from the boat Grayson had led them onto.

Grayson was already running towards the sailboat as the other two guys chased him.

Kendall hurriedly finished untying the ropes.

"Grayson, come on!" Annabeth yelled as I concentrated on the water.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Grayson leap off the deck, so I made the water push the boat out off the deck, only when I looked up, Grayson was still on the deck, held by his shirt by one of the guys. We were still moving, heading off into the direction of the ocean. Struggling, Grayson was able to escape the guy's grasp and dive into the water. He was a fast swimmer, but we were faster.

"What do I do?" I shouted. If we went back the guys would stop us from leaving again.

"Just keep going! I'll take care of it!" Kendall shouted back.

I could tell she was trying to concentrate on the water. The water seemed to pull him towards the boat, faster and faster until he was caught up. Kendall grabbed his hand and pulled him up into the boat. Grayson coughed and gagged.

"That river's disgusting!" Grayson said still gagging.

"Well, it is the Hudson," Kendall said as we entered the upper bay.

"How is this supposed to get us there and back in four days?" Grayson asked finally. "It's a sailboat."

"It may not have an engine, but it's the fastest sailboat in the world. It only goes 65.45 knots, but it will get us there in time," I argued while still trying to concentrate on the water, but I had been pushing the boat for a while now and I could tell my vision was going black at the edges.

Just get to the Atlantic Ocean, I told myself.

"Percy!" Annabeth yelled over the waves as I collapsed to the ground and my vision went dark.
