Wild Things

Chapter One
Ever since I was a child I would gaze at the stars and wonder if there was something like us, or even unlike us, out there. I would wonder who they are, were, or will be, and what they would do. I used to ask people for their thoughts, but soon after many weird looks and remarks like, "Why, Jimmy, would you ask such a strange question? Of course there's nothing out there, now why don't you finish up your chores."
I gave up on asking questions. I realized that I wasn't like the rest of my family, I was always curious, wanting to learn, and asked questions all the time, but my family never questioned anything, and never, ever asked questions. When I was in the 7th grade I realized what I wanted to do. I wanted to be an astronaut.
I passed school with flying colors, and when I graduated college that's exactly what I became. My team and I, Jonathan Clark, and Alexia Cone, were the first people to land on Mars. That was back in 3030. Now it's 3047, and I have a wife named Darla, and two beautiful twin girls named Melody and Jacqueline. I have only been to Mars once since the last time, and that was to fix the mining equipment up there, but I still feel off. I feel like I'm walking through life surrounded by a thick, gray haze, and the only time I'm at peace is when I'm staring at the sky wondering....

"Sam where in the world are you, your sisters in labor right now, so you better get your ass over here right NOW!" My father is normally a very patient man, but I can hear his worry for my darling sister Floyd, and his seething anger towards me. "Why would I want to watch that gore fest? When they clean all the blood and goop off the thing, call me and I'll be right there, but till then, I'm all set." I'm happy that he's not near me, because if he was I think he would have came over and hit me. "Really Sam?! What has gotten into you! You and Floyde use to be best friends, but ever since she met James and got pregnant you've treated her like shit! Are you jealous, because she fell in love and is starting a family, whereas you can't hold a relationship for more than five minutes?! Cuz that's what it seems like to me!" I feel like I've just been punched in the gut, mostly because of what he said was true. "No, father...I'll be over there as soon as possible, what room is she in again?" I lock up my small, but comfy house and then climb into my dark blue truck and head to United Medical, where my 22 year old sister is about to have her first child.
The reason that I am just a little bit jealous of Floyd is because she found the love of her life before me, and I'm six years older than her. She meet James about five years ago, and was convinced that he was her soul mate after the first few months... But I haven't had a steady relationship in the past five years... Sure, I've been in quite a few relationships, but none of them ever clicked. And I'm starting to feel none of them ever will...
When I focus back onto the road and away from my thought I see an 18 wheeler heading straight for me. I try to swerve, but it's too late. It hits and I go flying over the guardrail and crashing into the woods. My head hits the steering wheel hard, and then the air bag slams me into my seat. My whole body feels thick and heavy, and I can feel blood trickling down my face. Man...I hope my father doesn't think I'm ditching him...

"This is insane Zia! You have to relieve that this is not a good idea! Not only would it be incredibly rude to question the queen's decision but you're not even suppose to know of this matter." My grandfather is practically breathing fire, and his face has turned beat red from fighting with me. "So what am I supposed to do? Sit down, shut up, and be a good little Mixi? Because I refuse to do that. How do you think the humans of Earth would react to an invasion, they can't even accept their own kind! What do you think they'll sit there with open arms and greet the Ovo's kindly? No, they will try to fight a war that they can not win, and blow themselves up in the process! Billions will be torched and die. Grandfather, how can you not see that we desperately need to do something?!" His eyes soften a little, and he puts his hand on my shoulder. " Zia, I get why you want to do this, I really do, but bringing this up with the queen will only make more problems. Maybe you could talk to one of her Royal Card Guards instead?" Now I'm the one who's practically breathing fire. "No, apparently you don't understand! I'm at least gonna try, instead of sitting here and watching Earth crumble. I don't care what problems it could possibly cause, I'm leaving as soon as possible." I spin on my heals and rush to my bed room. He calls after me, but I just ignore him, not wanting to waste precious time battling my grandfather. I'm so upset about this whole thing that when I get to my room I have to will my fangs back in.
Once I settle down I head to my closet. Each citizen of Ewababmiz gets an outfit from the queen when they are children. Every outfit has a spell on it that allows it to grow while you do, and these outfits are what we have to wear if we ever wish to meet the queen. Many, actually most, people of Ewababmiz never have to wear the outfit, and to be honest, I've never even seen it. The box it is kept in is a dark blue, with flowers and cats all over it, in a lighter shade of blue. There is a dress on the inside, and when I pull it completely out of the box I can't help but gasp. It's absolutely gorgeous. The entire thing is made out of silk. The bottom of the dress is white with red hearts, spades, diamonds, and clubs on it. The sleeves are also red, and since it's warm there short and poofy. The top of the dress is a light shade of pink, with beautiful sparkles all over it. I think my favorite part of it is the shoes though. They are the exact same style but one's red and the other is white. I quickly slip it on, through my dark black hair into a messy bun, and then head out my door to go and find Toadstool.

The King's chamber is huge, but the only piece of furniture in it is his elegant thrown. The king himself is surrounded by many female servants, and a female guard stands next to his throne. When I'm a few feet away from King Safae the guard who lead me here leaves, and for some reason I feel a lot less safe. The King smiles at me, which doesn't help calm me down the least. "Oppe! How's my favorite researcher doing?" I look at him uncertainly, knowing that his kindness will not last. "I'm doing quite well my Lord Safae, thanks for asking." He smirks and I realize just how much trouble I am in.
"Well I'm happy that you're doing well, I truly am...It's just, I haven't heard that that you've made any progress on a destination closer than Earth, and I'm just a little bit worried. You know what's on the line here Oppe, don't you? I don't want to have to deal with a whole other planet, just to land on one, and I definitely don't want to have a formal meeting with a crazy lady, so find something." I lower my head to hide my frustration. I find what he want's and then he tell me that it's not good enough, and that I need to keep searching. "I have found a new planet...But it wouldn't be as suitable for us. This planet is uninhabited, but we'd need suits for the extremely high gravity, and lack of carbon dioxide, because that planet has absolutely none. Then there's the food problem, there's nothing to eat there, nothing to hunt, and we couldn't grow anything there. That planets a complete dud. Lord Safae, I know Earth's far, but I think it's our only choice..."

When I walk out of my door I walk straight into Toadstool. He laughs and looks up at me. " Hey Zia! I heard you fighting with your grandfather, what's up?" Toadstool's face, and the sound of his slightly high-pitched voice is so comforting right now it's not even funny. Toadstool has been my friend for forever, so I don't even hesitate to tell him everything. " My Grandfather was trying to stop me from going to see Queen Alice about the people of Ovo." He looks stunned. "Ovos? Isn't their planet like, really far away? What could they possibly want that's got you upset enough to want to go see the queen?" "They've been looking for a new planet for a while now, first Venus, then Mars, Uranus, Saturn, and then Earth. They discovered that Earth is the only planet with the right amount of gravity and Co2 to sustain them. So Queen Alice is going to be talking to them first to try to give them pointers on the humans. I think that this is ludicrous, especially since the Queen doesn't care for the humans in the slightest, she just finds Earth pretty to look at."
He nods. "Oh great! This is gonna be fun! I don't imagine that there's any way to talk you out of it?" "Sorry Toady, I'm going to do this. I'm on the Council Of The Cards, and my job is to maintain the peace. If the Ovos land on Earth there will never be peace again. So I have to do this, are you coming or not?" He looks at me grumpily. "You know I hate it when you call me Toady! And do you even have to ask? Give me five minutes to go change into the queen's special outfit and I'll be right there."
When my door opens again my mouth drops open. Toadstool is clean shaven for the first time ever since I met him. He took a shower and now smells fresh and clean, unlike his usual self. He swapped his old, patched up, pointed red hat for a shimmering silver one, and instead of his dirt covered overalls and filthy white shirt, he's wearing new overalls with a soft looking cotton shirt that has a big, red diamond on it. Even his shoes look better now that they are a sparkling black. "Wow! Toadstool, you have to be the most handsome gnome ever!" I say as I go over to hug him. "I clean up nicely, don't I?" He says smiling. "But, I'm mourning the loss of my beautiful red beard." He says, falling dramatically onto my bed. After I finish laughing I pull Toady up and off of my and we head out to call a hover.

"I thought that you understood Oppe. Earth is not only far away, but to get to it we would have have to get permission, like a little-Tretrky asking for a Drizafar. Then, once we finally get to Earth, those weird humans would be scared and we would have to fight a war with them, which wouldn't be pretty by the way, because if you haven't noticed, our planet's dying, and we don't have a whole lot of resources. Listen very closely Oppe, you have two more days until I have to have the meeting with Queen Alice. If you don't think of something before then there will be serious consequences for you."
All I can do is nod grimly and walk away. I work night and day, trying to figure out a solution. I go over all my files, notes, and scribble over and over again, but nothing's matching up. There are some planets that would be far better than Earth, except they are always missing one of the essential components for our people, Co2, which would be fine if I had more time and more stuff to work with, because then I could just make something to solve the problem.
When they drag me out of my lab I'm ruffled, and smelly. I'm also empty-handed. When the guard leaves me again in the kings throne room I am almost certain that I am going to die. "Well Oppe?" That's all he says, his fierce eyes saying the rest for him. "W-well sir...E-every planet t-that would have b-b-been suitable was missing an essential component for our people to survive. I w-would have b-been abl-" He interrupts me with angrily. " You're acting very craven Oppe, speak p-p-properly." I can feel myself turn a beat shade of white. "W-well sir I-I-I (ahem) I would have been able to fix the problem with more time and the proper resources, but we have neither of each. Our only option is to go to Earth, or to stay here and die." He shakes his head solemnly.
"Well than I guess our only option is Earth?" I gulp. "Yes my Lord Safae, but on the bright side we can be sustained on Ewababmiz, so when you go to Ewababmiz you will not need a suit or anything. Although, I should warn you that their gravity is 1.8923 units below our gravity, so you may feel a little lighter. Their air is also very rich in oxygen, and has 6.713 units less of carbon dioxide less than our planet, so you may have a little bit of trouble breathing. If you want I have some nostril tanks that would make breathing much easier." He just nods. "And what are all the people here suppose to do while we are away?" The king caught me quite off guard. "Well sir, there is currently 502 ovos and one tertrky on Ovo right now. Our main ship can hold 699 people, not including the pilot, so we should have more than enough room for everyone, plus what supplies we have. And sir, why did you say we?"
He looks me straight in the eyes and I can't help but to take a step back. "Because you're coming with me to explain our issues and the fact that you failed to find a planet other than Earth for us to live on." I look down at the ground for a minute then back at him. "Of course my Lord Safae." The King turns to say to the busty guard next to him, "Bring the girl." Neither of us say a word until the busty guard brings in me beloved daughter Forminay. " Lord Safae, why is my oldest daughter here what would you want with her?!" He smiles evilly. ''"I want to punish you for letting me down Oppe. I gave you plenty of warning, I gave you plenty of time. I TOLD YOU WHAT I WANTED!" He stands up, his face red, and his eyes huge. He pulls out his sword and cuts my darling daughter's head off. Her blood hits me in the face, and her head rolls to my feet. All I can do is stare in shock. And plan to run
Chapter Two
By the time the hover pulls up to Queen Alice's castle I'm shaking a little, trying to figure out what to say. The hover driver turns around and says "This hover ride was pre paid. Please exit the hover now that you are at your desired destination. Have a nice day, and please ride the Ewababmiz hover again." He turns around, presses a button. The doors pop open, and Toadstool and I step out of the bad smelling hover. "Hmmm, I wonder who paid for the hover?" Says Toady sarcastically, looking up at me. "Yes Toadstool, I know. My grandfather paid for it, I feel bad enough already, lets just go."
The Queen's castle looks like it's made of cards and rises beautifully into the sky. In front of two large glass doors stands a cyclopes, with 3 of the Queen's Royal Card Guards next to him. "Hello Zia," The cyclops says. His voice is so deep that it shakes the ground. "Queen Alice has been expecting you." He opens the door and with a deep breath I enter.
The inside is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Swirly blue chandlers cover the ceiling. The floor is made of white marble, and a staircase made of red colored glass lines the walls elegantly. A birch table sits to the side of the room with comfy looking red bean bag chairs lining it. The cyclopes leads us up the stairs, and as we go up we pass rooms with long gold, white, blue, red, or black beads hanging in the doorways. Out of one of the door ways a unicorn pokes it's head out and I gently pet it until Toadstool pushes me forward. By the time we finally get to the top my legs are cramped and I'm sweating a little. The doorway in front of us makes it worth it though. Silver, red, gold, white, blue, yellow, pink, purple, black, green, and orange beads sparkle down from the top of the door. The white glow from inside the room makes the effect of the beads sparkle all around us.
"By the way, Miss Zia, my name is Thunder." He's speaks softly so that he doesn't rattle the stairs. "Once you have talked to the queen come find me, I'll show you to your room." I am completely and utterly confused. "Why would I be staying here? And what about Toadstool?" Toady looks at Thunder expectantly. "Ah yes, quite sorry. We were not aware that your gnome friend would be coming with you. Queen Alice will have a room arranged next to yours. I will go have one of the phoenixes grab you and your friends stuff. I'm aware that you both live with your grandfather and that's it, so I will send a fairy to talk to him. Is there anything else that you would like?" I think for a moment. " Yah, tell him that I'm sorry." I say. Then I grab Toady's hand and we walk through the beads.
The room is shockingly small for having such a big door. The room looks like it's made out of a tree, and the "thrown" she is sitting on is just a stump. On one side of her is a blue and purple cat that I swear is grinning, and on the other side of her is an odd shaped bottle that's empty. There's a tag on it, but it's old and worn, and I can't see what it once said. Queen Alice herself is a shocking sight. She is very pale, and very thin. Her hair is quite long, and a very dirty blonde. Her eyes are a rather pale shade of blue that matches her dress. She has a white apron over her blue dress, and her feet are bare. She looks nothing like a queen, and I can tell Toadstool feels the same way by how he raises one of his eyebrows ever so slightly.
When Queen Alice looks up at me I almost can't help but to shrink back. Her gaze is cold...and crazy. "Zia, " She whispers, her voice soft and harsh at the same time. "Do you know why I'm here? Why we're all here?" I shake my head ever so slightly. She stands up, pacing the room, and making great jesters with her hands. "I am here because..." She seems to lose her train of thought for a moment. " I am here because...Oh yes! I am here because of the whole. The little rabbit hole. You see, when I was a young girl I fell down this rabbit hole, chasing a beautiful white rabbit. I fell to this place of dodo birds, and talking flowers, and cheshire cats, and...Well and everything else. I loved it there, that place called Wonderland... But I had to come back up eventually. And when I did... My eyes were different. I could see things I couldn't see beforehand, like the vampires and the pixies, and everything else. Of course, I was little, so I would point them out to everyone, and back then I had a fairy who was my best friend named Fayna and I would always sit and talk to her. Just... I was the only one who could see them. One night I heard my parents talk about sending me to a mental hospital and I was so scared. I hid under my bed and I wished and wished for a place for me and all my creature friends to go to... That night I dreamed of a place like that, and when I woke up I was here on Ewababmiz. Each creature had a section perfect for them, we had a working society, and I... I was their queen... I came here to flee from the humans... Why exactly should I feel the need to protect them? I'm having a meeting on the matter in an hour, you are more than welcome to voice your concerns there, till then... I don't want to see your face again...."

I'm still staring at my daughter's head when the king begins to speak. "You know Oppe, all the "research" you did could have been wrong. I mean, what if we go to Earth and it can't sustain us? I think that maybe we should send Corsa and Lessive to Earth, just to make sure that it's livable for our people." I look up at him now. " You want to take the rest of my children away from me now too?" He just smiles. " Fine Lord Safae...I don't care, do what you must."

After getting weird, blinking chips stuck into our arms a guard drags us down a bunch of halls that I have never seen before. I thrash and kick and bite my guard, but it's no use. No matter how much I try to hurt him or how many times I ask him what's going on and where we're going he doesn't answer. What's even more frustrating is the fact the Lessive isn't doing anything other then hanging his head in shame. " Come on Less, I know that Dad gave us up without a fight, but that doesn't mean we should give up without a fight." I say while trying to twist out of my guards grip. Lessive just looks at me saddly.
"What's the point Corsa. There's know where to go. We mine as well just save our energy for whatever's coming up next." We come to a sudden stop and the third guard with us begins to type something into a security box. The large size doors slides opens and the guards holding me and Less practically throw us in. The room is extremely small and almost completely black. I reach out to find Less, and grab his hand. I hear a clicking noise, and then the room begins to fill with gas.

Toadstool and I rush out of the queens room as quickly as possible, without being completely rude. When we get out there are two unicorns waiting for us. After helping Toadstool onto his, I hop on mine and they go rushing down the stairs. We get to the bottom and they turn the corner and let us off. In front of us is a plain looking door with Toady's and I name on it. We look at each other and then enter.
This room is plain also, which makes me a little disappointed because the rest of the castle is so grand. There's two beds, but one was obviously put in last minute. They're both twin sized, with blue blankets and white pillows. There's a box of Toadstool's clothes by one, and three boxes with my clothes by the other. There's a small desk pushed to the very corner of the room to accommodate for the two beds, and a single small chair to go with it. That's it.
"Well, not only am I thoroughly freaked out, but I'm also thoroughly disappointed..." Grumbles Toadstool. He walks over to his clothes box, grabs a green pair of overalls, a blue shirt, and his work boots that were placed besides it. " I'm gonna go wash all this gunk off of me and change, it'll only take me a few minutes, call me if you get scared." He grumpily walks over to a door to the right, discovers it's a closet, grumbles, walks over to the door to the left, finds that it's a bathroom this time and walks right in, leaving the door open a crack when he does so. As much as I hate to admit it, I am a little bit scared. Queen Alice was crazier than I expected her to be, which is saying a lot.
After Toady's shower, he flops dramatically onto my bed and melts down to the floor. After quickly tugging clean pants on I help Toadstool up off of the floor. Thunder comes in and says that the meeting with the about the Ovos was going to start in a few minutes. We rush to the large, white birch table were the meeting is to take place, and take a seat in one of the bean bag chairs. A few seconds after we arive the queen does too, and I have to bite my tongue to prevent my jaw from dropping.
Queen Alice looks like a completely different person from when I saw her a few hours before. Her hair is curled and lays flowing and shining past her shoulders. Her dress is still blue, but a darker blue, and it's made entirely out of silk, with a poofy white ribbon in the middle. She put red lipstick on, and I wonder if she would have a king if she always looked this nice, and welcoming. Even her eyes somehow appear friendlier.
Trumpets sound from high above and gnomes on pegasuses come gliding down from above. I look at the queen, expecting her to be angry, but to my total surprise she is smiling. Thunder comes in through the large glass doors and gnomes come trailing in behind him. Some carry instruments playing smooth, sweet notes, others carry plates of food, and the ones who come in last are doing cartwheels, and back flips, and all kinds other doing crazy tricks. Toadstool has a huge grin on his face and is clapping.
As soon as everyone is seated and calm the queen begins to speak. "Today, we are meeting on the matter of the Ovo's. I have a few people who have come forward with answers, opinions, and thoughts on the matter. First, I would like to question Iris, the queen of the fairies." She looks around the room and then up at Thunder. "Did you ask Iris to be present for this meeting?" He nod. "Yes, my queen. She should be here, I'm not su-" A load ZOOM interrupts him. A small fairy comes tumbling through the window.
Her pink hair is everywhere, and her features are pulled into sharp points of worry. Her almost see through red and blue wings are spread out behind awkwardly and when she speaks her voice is fast and like a little bell. "Oh! Queen Alice! My gosh! I am so sorry that I'm late! You see, my daughter was expecting her first child, but dangles, the kids already as stubborn as a foosh berry! It just didn't seem to want to come, but I came because I knew you wanted me here." She sits cross legged on the table instead of in a chair. "I'm sorry to take you away from you daughter Iris. I will get through my questions with you quickly so you can go back. Next time if you inform me earlier you may stay with your daughter, this is just the first I have heard of it." She looks around the room to address everybody. "As some of you may have heard, my spy Max, discovered that the Ovos were planning to send two of their people to Earth. I asked Queen Iris to look into this for me, seeing as she still has some of her people down on Earth." She locks her blue eyes with Iris's pink ones. "What are your finding?" Iris suddenly looks uncomfortable. "Well...I'm not saying that Max is lying, but...Well I saw no such evidence. I did see something else though." Queen Alice just raises her eyebrows, and Iris is silent for a moment. "I never saw Max looking into any of this, or how he would even be able to watch the Ovos." Max stands up, his eyes filled with anger. "Bulls! I have holograms of-" Now Queen Alice is standing. "Enough from both of you! Sit down Max, and let Iris speak."
Iris has so much guilt on her face that I wonder if she and Max were close. "Ummm..." Starts Iris, look down at her tiny fingers. "How, how dumb you are, and how easy it would be for-" The room breaks out into an explosion of anger and the queen whistles to calm everyone down. Once there is silence a gnome stands up. This gnome is obviously homosexual, and when Toady sees him he can't stop his mouth from dropping. He has dark purple hair, that is longish, with bright pink tips at the end. He has soft features, a rainbow striped hat, a hot pink shirt and neon yellow overalls. "If I may speak, Queen Alice?" The Queen just nods. "I can't help but to notice, Queen Iris, that you were doing illegal spying. You were not assigned to be watching over anyone, your people were just supposed to be looking over Earth for Ovos." Iris stands up and faces the gnome who's speaking, furry in her eyes. Toadstool is still gawking and I can't help but smile.
"How dare you!" Spits Iris. " You wouldn't know anything. Especially you, out of all the people! What would a GAY gnome know about spying? Or anything else for that matter?!?" Me and all the gnomes in the room gasp, and to my total surprise Toadstool stands up. He sounds more angry then I have ever heard him before. "Iris! What in the worlds does being gay matter? I worked for you part time for 2 years before going to work for Zia's family." Everyone is looking back and forth between them. "Yes, I know. You're a very smart, and hard working gnome, but what does you working for me have to do with a gay gnome contradicting me?" "So you're admitting that my work was good?" Iris looks very confused. "Yes?" "Well then this might come to your surprise that I am gay! So as you just admitted, our sexuality doesn't make us stupid! No, not in the least! I'm quite positive that this gnome here knows more about the laws than you, and your a queen!" Toadstool sits angrily and is puffing out his cheeks out like he normally does when he's upset.
My mouth is to the floor from surprise. I obviously knew that Toadstool is gay, but I also know how scared he has always been about people figuring out, that's why I'm the only person he ever told. Iris is just standing there dumbfounded, and the gnome who was speaking before speaks again. "Oh, and Queen Iris, I'm Oak, the king of the gnomes, so actually, I have a great wealth of knowledge about laws, especially on spying." He sits, but not before winking at Toadstool, who blushes like mad. The Queen is rubbing her temples. "Ok...Please everyone, calm down...We somehow gotten very off track, so let me just wrap this up for today. Iris, how stupid do you really think I am? I know you don't have a daughter, and I also know that you have been in touch with Lord Safae. The fairies have already picked a new queen, and as a traitor and liar I hereby arrest you, Iris of the fairies."
Chapter 3
Iris's mouth drops and she tries to get away. Thunder grabs her gently in his hand and carries her out of the room. Queen Alice has all eyes on her. "Now does anyone else have any questions?" I raise my hand, not sure whether or not she meant it. She looks at me and nods. "My Queen, I don't get why the Ovos have to come to Earth of all the places. She smiles slightly and seems to like the fact that I asked. "Well, Zia, that is a very good question. They have been slowly running out of resources and they have been looking for places that they could live on. Since they are almost plant based, they need to breath in Co2, and breath out oxygen. Basically Earth is the only place that seems to be the closest fit to what they need. Any more questions?" Everyone nods no. "Then this meeting has come to an end. I have heard all of your concerns and complaints, and everything else in person, and I have reached a decision. Soon is the meeting with the Ovos, the kings and queens of each realm may be here, but no extras, well except for Zia, who by the way, I will be meeting in five minutes."
She turns and leaves the room, her hair and dress swishing behind her. I rush back to my room and try to neaten it up, putting the clothes in the closet and shoving the boxes under the bed. The queen comes in, in the middle of me trying to get one of the larger boxes to fit under the bed. I look up and try to act nonchalant about it, but she just ignores me. Instead she sits on Toadstool's bed. "Zia, I understand that you are a Mixi, and what that entails. I also understand that you have a great fondness for the humans, and I can admire that. Those are the reasons why I have chosen you for this mission." I raise my eyebrows and try to ignore how uncomfortable the room is getting. "Mission? What mission?" She still remains emotionless. " I have proof that two Ovos landed on Earth yesterday. They were in a very small pod ship, and it was filled with on odd type of gas. My scientist suspect that this gas was made to knock them out for the trip. We have three different types of motion trackers on them, but because of their odd genetic coding we can only pinpoint an area in which there is, not them directly. They have not wandered far from the pod ship, but we think that once they do it could end up very bad... I want you to find them and kill them." It takes me a minute to think of a proper response. "Isn't this the job for a bounty hunter? I mean, not to be rude, but I don't exactly have the experience for this." SHe looks me dead in the eyes. "Oh, don't worry, you'll be fine.You have your little gnome after all, this isn't a job for one person, and he not ever say no to you." I look at the ground, worried. "Why me?" She smiles now. "I thought that you loved the humans. Well you're one of the very few who do, so I thought that you would be the perfect match for this job."

After the meeting I go to follow Zia to our room, but the handsome Oak stops me. "I don't believe I know your name, would you mind sharing it with me?" He asks with a brilliant smile. I can feel myself blushing. "My names Toadstool, it's a pleasure to meet you King Oak." I have heard stories about the gnome in front of me, how he was an amazing leader, and smart too. How he always looked out for his people, and ruled with grace and kindness, but I never heard that he was gay.
"Well Toadstool - I love that name by the way - would you mind taking a walk with me in the gardens?" I shake my head no, and he loops his arm through mine. We get to a stone bench surrounded by giant allium flowers and sit down. I can't resist the urge to pull one down and smell it, it's smell faint, but pleasant. "You know Toadstool, you didn't have to pretend to be gay back there. It made a good statement, but I'm not the biggest fan of liars." I'm completely baffled and I think he sees it on my face because he smiles a crooked smile, and tilts his head slightly. "King Oak! -" "Just call me Oak." "Ok, Oak, why in the worlds would I ever lie about that. The only person who I've ever told about it is Zia, and it's something that I would never, ever joke, lie or anything else about it." His eyebrows go up and he laughs. "Seriously? I thought that I was the only one..." Shock flutters into my stomach. "Me too...That's why I never told anyone other than Zia."
He smiles at me and what I do next makes me want to crawl under a rock and hide for forever. I kiss him quickly on the lips, then pull back quickly, shocked at what I just did. "Well," he says. "I guess that you really weren't lying." He pulls me closer, and we kiss again. I don't want to hide under a rock any more...

I slowly open my eyes, and then close them again because the light is doing nothing to help my pounding head. I feel groggy, and with my eyes still closed I try to move. Pain shoots sharply through my shoulder and I open my eyes extremely slowly and observe the damage. There's a large branch going through my window, and into my shoulder. The passenger door is busted and my car seems to be littered with leaves, dirt, and debris. How did I get here? The truck and my sister pop back into my head and I feel ready to throw up. I close my eyes for a few, and what I see next shocks me.
There are three... Creatures that look as though they are made from the Earth itself. There is a large one that looks like he is made from rock. He has wide shoulders and slits for eyes. His eyes are red and he is smelling around him with large nostrils. What I'm guessing is a female walks into my sight, and even as... Well whatever she is, she is stunning. Her skin is golden, with flakes of foliage and moss. Her eyes are large and green. Her nails are as sharp as knifes. She is waving her hands around and another one slides into my sight. He is and lanky, and looks like a walking plant. His skin is green and he is covered in grass like plants and his "hair" is made up of vines and twigs, and plants I have never seen before.
They are obviously not human, but they are a sight to be seen. I am wondering if this is a hulutionation from hitting my head too hard, when the female one walks up to the giant rock like one and stabs him in the neck with her long claws. He thrashs about. and the noise he makes is unlike anything that I have ever heard. She is thrown off of him, and the skinny one charges at him. The rock one is oozing purple and he slashes at the skinny one. The female one stabs him, her claws going deep into his back. He falls and the two pummel him to death. Purple goop covers the ground, and he female sniffs the air and then begins to walk towards me...
Chapter Four
Max enters, and I can already feel that he has bad news. "I'm sorry Alice, it seems that it's. too late, I'm not sure how you want to contain this situation, but soon we are suppose to have the meeting with the people of Ovo, maybe we can bring it up then?" I look at him sadly and say, "This is bad Max, very, very bad. We need to figure something out, and soon. The Zia girl is right, the humans will not handle this very well, this could change things for us too... If humans start to believe in the, well, things like that... If too many... We'd have to go back to Earth... Ewabamiz is built on their disbelief... Max, you're needed here, so... So why don't we send the mixi and her gnome friend. You're needed here and she seems pretty passionate about fixing things, so let's have her fix it, we don't have much of a choice. Will you please go get her and set up a suit and some weapons in her room, please?" He nods and leaves quickly. I hang my head and pick up my special cheshire cat. What am I supposed to do? I don't want to go back to the place that completely just shunned me. I had to make a whole new world to get away from them. Those damn Ovos had to decide to go to Earth? There must have been somewhere else to ruin. But now... Now everything could come crashing down.

The woman creature rips off what is left of my truck door and begins to sniff me. She snarls and croaks at the skinny one. I try to move away from her, but the branch is still impaled in my shoulder. They seem to realize this, and the skinny one leans over rips it out. I scream from the pain, and fire is set to my shoulder. The female picks me up out of the mangled truck. I'm in too much pain to struggle and they lay me in a patch of moss that is near the purple goop. They both begin to sniff me and they lick at my shoulder. It stings and I try to scramble away. They begin to nip and pull at my skin, then the female bites hard at my wrist and begins to suck at my blood. I thrash and scream, but they won't let me go, the other one bites at my other wrist and I begin to feel numb.
Sudden they both let go and start to cough and change! Their faces shift and change and their skin turns... Human. The girl shrinks and plumps out, the boy's nose changes from slits and into a wide, human nose. They are both still coughing and fall to the ground and squirm like they are in pain. I drag myself over to a large tree, a few feet away away from the weird creatures, and go to sleep.

"Mr. Oppe, I've packed up your belongings, and your equipment, you should be ready for the trip to Earth." I look at my short, rose colored assistant and smirk, "Wonderful Telli, thank you for your help, are you sure that you don't want to accompany me on my trip?" He laughs. "Sir, I have to come, and you know that. Anyway, I figured out were in Ewababmiz Zia's grandfather lives." I smile for the first time in months, and board my small personal ship with Telli and head to Ewababmiz.

Toadstool and I are just relaxing and talking about his makeout session with Oak when a hard knock breaks the silence. We exchange looks and I get up to answer it. When I open it I recognize the face from the meeting. Its Max, Queen Alice's top spy. Panic flutters into my stomach, and Toady comes to my side. "Ummm, hello Max, what can we help you with?" I ask. His face is straight, and I can not get any feelings from his cold gray eyes. "The Queen would like to, speak to you, and to your little gnome. We have discussed the best solution for the problem at hand. Please visit her now, unless you have something to do that is more important." His voice is so cold that it makes me shiver. "Okay, yeah, that's fine, let us just change then w-" He cuts me off sharply. "This is important Zia, we don't have time to get all dressed up, I'm sorry. Please go up to her now. Once you come back you have everything that you need." Toadstool looks up at me, and we head up the long set of stairs. On the way up I explain to him the situation and how Queen Alice had talked to me earlier.
Her room is dark, and Alice is sitting there with her odd cat again... She looks so pale and missreble. She raises her head, and it is obvious that she has been crying. "Ahhh..." She pauses to wipe her face. " Zia, and Toadstool, I'm so happy to see you. I have a special.. umm a special favor to ask of you. The thing is, first, Zia, I have a question, or a few, for you." I nod slightly.. "Of course my Queen, whatever you need." She shows a weak smile. "Well Zia, to make sure that you were truly are ready for this task, I did some research into your background. You are a mixi, created like the others by the alien race of Sollme. 200 humans were abducted by these aliens and experimented on by these creatures. The put the dna of vampires, mermaids, and pixies into their victims. One of those victims being you. After getting their toys, they erased the knowledge of almost all the humans, and left leaving the poor and touched, anything but humans, in the woods of South Carolina. I brought you all here, knowing that the humans could never accept you again. Many had tails, some needed more blood than others, some were beautiful and others, true monsters. You Zia, are perfect. You only need a little bit of blood once a month. You can retract your fangs, and you don't even have gills or anything, but are a stellar swimmer. The only thing that makes you an obvious mixi is your black eyes. Yet, you want to protect the people who would never take you back, all that torture and-"
I am crying and Toadstool flips out. " No disrespect, but Queen Alice, what exactly are you trying to prove? Yes, Zia is a mixi, but what does that have to do with anything?" She cocks her head and looks confused. "Zia?" I look at her and her misty blue eyes. " What was your human name?" It takes me a minute to remember.. Its been so long since I've heard or said it. " My human name is Mia." "You really want to help your humans don't you?" "Yes, but there is something I don't understand my Queen. You're more human then anyone here, so why do you hate them so much?" I realize it's a mistake the second I finish saying it.
She stands up, her eyes turn red, and the room becomes even darker than before. "How dare you! I AM YOUR QUEEN!!!! Humans are pathetic and hateful and awful! My own mother wanted to lock me away, MY OWN MOTHER!!!! And why... Because I could see you, all of you, and no one else could!!! So I had to make this, to save myself and all of you, from the awful humans. The only reason I'm helping them is because I NEVER WANT TO BE ON EARTH AGAIN!!!" Toadstool and are have backed up against the beaded door because she keeps coming closer and closer, until she is right up in our faces.
"Zia, you have to fix this. Whether you want to or not. This is a problem, and if you really love your humans this much, then fix it. I need Max here, so you and your gnome can go to Earth. Kill the Ovos, or bring them back here, but they can not stay there. Max is setting up everything you need in your room, get dressed, then head to the front doors. There will be a ride waiting for you to bring you to the gate, and you'll be able to get to Earth from there. Now go! You no longer have a choice!"
We scutter out, and rush down the stairs and back to our room. Max is nowhere to be found, but on my bed there is human clothes. They are hard, and I notice that although they look normal, it's actually some type of armour. There is a leather jacket with hearts on the cuffs, ripped jeans with a knife satchel, and a pure white shirt. On the ground there is a pair of black combat boots with red laces. Toadstool has a normal straw hat, with dark blue jeans, and a red shirt, there are no shoes for him.
" Toady, I don't feel good about this... The Queen wants us to kill or capture the people of Ovo? This seems like a job for professional, which is not what we are." He huffs. "I know this Zia, but what are we supposed to do? It's not like we can just walk up to the Queen and tell her that we are not doing what she wants. I think she would actually kill us. Plus, this is probably the only way to actually help the humans." I just shake my head, annoyed by his logic. I put a gun in the satchel on my back, and walk out with Toadstool close behind.
Chapter Five
I open my eyes and realize that I must be in heaven. There is a beautiful woman on top of me. She has crazy cool green eyes, and long black hair that falls lightly on my cheek. " Hello!" The woman squeaks. "Lessive, come over here, the human is up!" I hear rustling and a tall man with thick brown hair and sky blue eyes looks at me curiously. "Ummm? Human? That's a curious way to talk. Where are you guys from?" I say, looking at them confused. Lessive looks at the girl with a raised eyebrow, the speaks in a hardy voice. "I'm Lessive, this is my sister Corsa. We are from Ovo. A land far away. Our home was running out of food, and air for us to breath, so we were sent here."
Suddenly the battle, the car crash, everything slowly slips into my brain. I jump up but Corsa clings onto me. I gasp and try to move, but her grip is like steel, and I can't even really wiggle. "Listen human," she snarls. " You saw what we did to old Kex, and he was a trained soldier, so we could easily kill you in seconds. Now, we don't know your planet, so you, you will be out tour guide. You can help us figure out where everything is, and how we can wreck this planet."
Lessive comes over and wraps a piece of cloth around my throat tightly, then walks over to the rock dudes body, rips off some of the rope that held his pants up, and ties it to the cloth around my neck. I realize that they just made a human collar and leash for me. Corsa takes the rope part, and we begin to walk out of the forest. Just like one big, happy, fucked up family.
We emerge into a small town, full of the usual things, like cows, and little shops. Corsa and Lessive are both sniffing the air, and then they both lick their lips. "Human, " Corsa barks. " What is your name?" I look at her and her beautiful eyes. " My name is Sam, and what you're smelling is that mom and pop shop. It smells like burgers." She smiles, and my heart melts. She seems to see the way I'm looking at her and she looks up at Lessive and whispers, " My dear brother, I don't think he needs the collar, I think this human wants relations with me." She laughs and drops the leash. Lessive picks it up, and we walk to the mom and pop shop.
What a strange group we must have made. Cosa with her inhuman eyes, Lessive with his tall height and thick hair, and me... On a leash. When we walk up to the counter the owner looks quite alarmed. "Umm?" She breaths. "Uh, what can I get for you guys today?" Corsa looks at the menu and then down at the short old woman. "We want the food that smells so good. And we want lots of it!" The old woman looks confused, but writes down what she said and we take a seat. Lessive ties my leash to the table leg, and grunts, "I have to relieve myself." Corsa just nods.
Lessive gets up, and goes outside. He faces with his back to the large windows of the front drops his pants, then begins to piss on the plants set up. Woman gasp and cover their kids eyes, and husbands cover their wives eyes. Corsa looks confused and whispers, "What is the problem Sam? Why are the other humans upset?" I can't help but laugh. " Because usually people use a bathroom, not random plants, that's kinda frowned upon." "Oh!" She says nodding.
The old lady comes out, without food, but a gun. "I think you odd folk ought to leave. Corsa is across the room in seconds. She snaps the woman's neck, and drops her effortlessly on the ground. Lessive walks in, and looks confused. " That old human," She snarls. "Was threatening me!" They booth begin to laugh a harsh, crazy laugh. The people in the restaurant are stone still, and they dare not to move until Corsa says, "Now, it would be smart if someone would make me food!" The people run, many screaming and crying. She looks at me. "Sam, you are not aloud to turn like this. You're my new pet, okay?" She leans into me and kisses me hard. She spits in my mouth and I am forced to swallow it. My body tingles, and then my thoughts just disappear. All I think of is the pretty lady, and her brother, and how I must make them happy.

"Hello everyone! This is Hank Holmes, reporting live from 145 News. Very odd things have been happening as of late. Scientist are in the South Carolina national forest of Sumter, and there seems to be some strange things going on here. There is a crashed truck, which is normal, other then there is no person in it. There is some type of weird ship that scientist are trying to identify near this truck. And the truck is covered in blood, but I can say for sure that it is nothing like the things we have normally here in this lovely forest. Scientists have also identified some type of large rock created that has been brutally killed, but by what, we are not too sure. We recommend that people use caution when they are driving in this area and the areas around it. Alright that's enough from me, I'm going over to you Dale for the weather..."

When Toadstool and I get outside of the castle there is two gnomes waiting for us with a cab. One of them is King Oak himself, the other I don't recognize. King Oak smiles when he sees Toady and says, "Hello my new dear friend. Your lookin as fabulous as ever. I thought I'd at least see you off, since you and your friend are gonna be hero's soon." He smiles broadly and Toady blushes. Oak points to the cute lady gnome next to him and says happily, "This is my sister Rose, she wanted to join us." She smiles politely at us, and then Toady and I climb into the back of the cab.
At the end of Ewababmiz there is a huge gate. It's where the world meets itself, and it is also the only way directly to Earth. The gate is pearly white and has diamonds incrusted into it. King Oak nods at us, kisses Toadstool's hand, and then we climb out of the car. They speed away quickly. And a feeling of doubt starts to sink in. I can tell that my companion feels the same way because he is twisting what is left of his beard around his finger. "So, you know that this is it right Zia? There is no going back from this..." Toady croaks, rubbing at his neck.
I give him a side hug and walk up to the protector of the gate, which is actually just a large screen, and tap on it. It lights up and he ght words scroll across the screen. ~Hello? Welcome to the gate of Ewababmiz. What can I help you with?~ Once the words are done flashing across the screen a small keyboard pops up. I type back quickly. ~I am Zia Zack Zimza, I'm with my best friend Toadstool, and we have been sent by Queen Alice to go down to Earth.~ The screen flashes and begins to make a long, high pitched noise. It beeps, hoops, and boos, until more words scroll across the screen. ~Have a wonderful time on Earth. I very much hope that your mission is successful.~ The machine spits out a ticket that reads; ԵհíŚ íŚ ɑ օղҽ աɑվ ԵíςkҽԵ Եօ EɑɾԵհ, ʍմŚԵ ɾҽԵմɾղ աíԵհíղ ɑ ʍօղԵհ, օɾ ԵհíŚ ԵíςkҽԵ աíӀӀ ҍҽςօʍҽ íѵɑӀɑժҽ, ɑղժ վօմ WILL NOT ҍҽ ɑҍӀҽ Եօ ɾҽԵմɾղ Եօ ҽɑɾԵհ.
Toadstool looks at it and grimaces, "Well..." He croaks, " That is real reassuring." The gate opens, and it reveals a large forest. Earth is even more beautiful than I remember...

Oppe, I wonder what that name will mean to the humans... The ship that Telli and got on is fast, but it still feels like it will take months to get to Ewababmiz. I just want to get Zia's grandfather and then get out of there and down to Earth. Once there I can start planning my revenge against Lord Safae for killing my beloved daughter. I don't think he truly understands who he made an enemy of. Telli coughs, bringing my attention to him. "Sir, we will be arriving on Ewabamiz soon. We are in a field by where her grandfather lives, but we will have to be quick because this is a populated area, we don't exactly fit in here." I grin. "All the better Telli, let's wreck this place!"

There's a loud bang, and a quickly go to the door, hoping that its Zia. When I open the door, I see a blur of red and then I'm flying across the room. I hit the wall hard, and gasp for air. There are two large creatures unlike anything I have ever seen. One is bulky, rose colored, with sharp features, and odd crystals growing out of it. The other one is a dirty gray\brown color, short, and has teeth that are so sharp that they hang out of its mouth. They gargle and grunt at each other, and then grab at me. I try to move, but the pain in my chest is too great, and they drag me out of my house. I yell, and people come out of their houses. The rose one throws me over its shoulder and runs, while the other one wrecks my town... I hope these beast don't have my precious Zia.

"Gosh, Toady, this is a beautiful area... Where do you think we are?" We are both looking in awe at the lush forest that surrounds us. "I have no idea Zia, " he says breathlessly. " I mean, it's possible that we are in Sumter National forest, or they just put that sign up for decoration." I turn my head in the direction his is facing, and laugh, seeing the sign. "Let's go Toady, we have some serious stuff to do!"
We enter a small town, and can already hear and see the destruction that the Ovos have been causing. There is a woman crying and holding her child outside of a little shop called 'Little Burgers'. There is a warm of humans inside of the littler shop, and there is a lot of panic and commotion. Toady and I rush over to where a couple of humans are standing. There is a tall male, holding the hand of a shorter, stunned looking female.
"What happened here?" I ask the couple. The woman is shaking too hard to answer, and the male takes a minute to respond. "There were these weird... I don't know what they were! They looked weird humans, cuz like, there was a dude holding another guy like on a leash... Then cuz the guy was uh, peeing outside, and causing a lot of trouble, the owner came out with a gun. The female moved so quick, and she snapped the woman's neck. Then just dropped her dead body like it was nothing! She then demanded that we make her food... They left a little while ago... I've never seen anything like this, South Carolina is never like this!" Toady and I exchange looks. "Uh," Toadstool says looking worried and uncomfortable. "Well thank you for your help, do you know what direction they went?" He just points down the long, windy road ahead of us. We nod, and head that way, hoping to catch them soon.

"So Ronkoe, your Zia's adopted grandfather?" I'm in a dark, cold room. My body if stiff, and my chest is on fire. I can not see the person talking to me, in fact all I can see is a bar of light coming from under the door. "Yes," I rasp, trying to not throw up from the pain. "Why?" The person laughs and then says, "Well, we're on Earth, specifically 203 Glover road. In a very large brick building where I am making experiments and keeping you. Your granddaughter, and my children are around here somewhere too. Your kid, is going after my children, and my King is trying to send the rest of my people here. You see, if your daughter stops my children, well that would be bad for me. My kids are going to make Ewabamiz collapse. If too many humans begin to believe, well then there will be no more Ewababmiz. So we need to distract your Zia. What better way to do that then to have her grandpappy need help." He laughs a crazy, shocking laugh. "You just leave Zia alone!" I grunt, trying to strand to see if I can look this ass in the face. Again he laughs. "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere near Zia, I made some creatures that should be able to deliver your wedding ring to her just fine." I grab at my finger, and for the first time realize that my simple band is not there. "This is crazy! Why are you doing this?" He hisses. "To get back at everyone and everything. The king killed my daughter, after putting me through months of hell to find this stupid planet. So I'm going to bring everything literally crashing down."

"My Queen Alice, the Ovos will be arriving in less than an hour. Is there anything you would like me do or prepare?" Max looks as nervous as I am feeling. "No Max, I am just planning on having them meet in the main hall, but I honestly don't know what exactly we should do..." He looks uncomfortable. " Well, we both know the only thing that can be really done is to try to get them too stay here. If they go to Earth them they could make everything you have built up collapse." I nod, and wave at him with my hand, done with this conversation.
Once he leaves I change into a simple blue silk dress with a small white bow wrapped around my waist. I try to get my frizzy blonde hair under control, and then walk to my bed. My Cheshire cat is lying down and I lay next to her and stroke her soft fur. I hope that Zia can fix things on Earth, because my hands are kinda full with Ewababmiz.
A while later Max comes and gets me, saying that the people of Ovo have arrived. When I get down the stairs I am stopped dead in my tracks. There is one of these, beast that it stunning. He has large limbs, with dark black skin and lava looking eyes. A moss like substance falls from his head and frames his face like hair. He approaches me and says in a deep gravelly voice, "Hello, you must be the beautiful queen Alice I have heard so much about." I can feel the heat rising in my cheeks. "I...." I'm not sure what to say. This beast is one of the most beautiful creatures I have ever seen. I want him to be mine, my king, and I know just how to do this... "I'll be right back, I have forgotten something in my room, just give me one second to get that."
I bow and rush up to my room. I have this cream that I have been saving for years for just this kind of situation. I put it on my neck and once their lips touch it, they can never leave me... I smear it thick on my neck, and head back down to where the king is waiting elegantly. "Sorry to keep you waiting Lord Safae, I have read that your people can change shape once they drink the blood of what they want to change into, so I thought as a special offering I could let you drink some of mine, so that maybe you feel more comfortable here. I thought I would put lotion onto my neck to maybe ease the pain." He smiles largely and moves the hair from the side of my neck. He bites deeply, and the pain is incredible, but amazing at the same time. He pulls away, my blood dripping down the side of his mouth. "How nice of a gesture Queen, thank you very much." He bows and then begins to change.
His skin changes to a dark tan, and he shrinks down from 7ft 8in to 6ft 3in. The moss disappears into his head, and thick brown hair sprouts instead. His eyes dim, and turn into a magical gray, with streaks of red here and there. His muscles become proportional to his body, not huge, but not skinny, his face becomes narrow and his features become sharp. He looks like a living dream sculpted from my imagination.
Again he bows, and we head to the hall to discuss what will happen to them. Max raises his eyebrow at me and I just smile.
Lord Safae sits in a chair next to me, his people filling in the rest of the space. Max stands behind me and I lean towards Safae never breaking eye contact with him. "So, Lord Safae, I have a proposal for you, instead of going to Earth, why don't your people just stay here?" He raises his eyes like it was not something he had considered before. "Well, Queen Alice, one of my head researchers, who unfortunately could not be here, said that there wouldn't be room here, and also that we may not be so welcome here." I raise my eyebrow ever so slightly. "Safae, I made everything here, well except for the people of course, but I can make a simple improvement into the basement of of this castle! It would be simple, and wiser for everyone than you going and bringing your people to Earth." He smiles widely. "I will contact my people and tell them to come here to Ewababmiz, but there is one thing that I must ask." I tilt my head, worried that the cream may not have worked. He leans in very close to me and whispers into my ear, "Will you be my wife?"
Chapter Six
The road that Toadstool and I are fallowing show signs of the Ovos. Its obvious that they are having the time of their life torturing the poor humans. There are tipped over trash cans, broken windows, and people crying. We follow the road to a less populated area. There is more and more space between the houses, the road is straight, and you can see for miles. Up the street we see a dark haired woman, a brown haired man beside her, and a guy with orangish hair on a leash next to him. Toady looks at me and points to the strange group just standing in the middle of the road near a big red house.
"I think that might be them." I nod, and pull him into the shadows of the trees. A breeze rustles through the wind, and the group begins to to head towards the house. I pull out my gun, put in a bullet, and begin to sneak towards them, Toadstool by my side. Another breeze, this time more heavy, carrying the scent of something rotting to my nose. Toady seems to notice too, because he turns around and then screams. I notice the group look towards us before I swing around to figure out what is going on.
What I see makes me want to scream too. It's a warped dog, and plant like thing,, made huge, with thick rotting flesh and strange white eyes. It snarled and drops a ring on the road, then runs away quickly. I look down at the ring and my heart drops. Its my grandfather's wedding ring. Attached to it is a small piece of slobbery and crinkled paper. ~203 Glover Road Oppe~ I show it to Toady and he shoves into his pocket for safekeeping because now we have company.
The Ovos and their human with weird, dilated eye, are only a few feet away and changing back into their original for. I raise my gun and with the other hand pass my knife to Toady.The women like creature stops inches from my face she snarled, and the man stands not far away holding the human with the leash. She breaths and her breath fogs up the air. "What are you? You don't smell human...? What are you doing, why do you have that gun?" She growled her voice deep and slightly thick. She rips the gun out of my hand in the blink of an eye, but Toady goes at her and sticks her in the leg with the knife. My hand burns from the gun being ripped out of it, but I try to catch Toady as he goes flying across the road. I struggle to get my gun back when I feel claws sink into my arm and rip me off of the she creature. The male one has dropped the leash and come to help the other one... "RUN!!!" I scream at the human, hoping that I can at least get him out of here. He just smiles at me and then the woman changes back into her human disguise, the wound in her leg still there and gushing blood. She walks over to the human and kisses him passionately. I can't believe what I am seeing, and I try to crawl over to Toady, but the male created crushes my leg down onto the pavement, the armor being of no help at all.
The girl comes over her blood hitting me and whispers into my ear, "I don't think we actually got to have a propped introduction, I'm Corsa, and this is my brother Lessive. The human is my little pet! His name is Sam." She walks over to Toady who has been knocked out by the blow of hitting the pavement so hard. I try to move towards him and am stopped again by Lessive. "So!" Corsa says happily. She reaches down and pulls the paper from Toadstools pocket. She reads it and her face turns stone cold, she looks to her brother and says, "Less, its Oppe! What kind of joke is this suppose to be?" She looks toward me and begins to walk over, her eyes full of hatred. "WHAT IS THIS!?!"She throws the paper at me and begins to change into her true form. She looks at Lessive and growls, "Fuck this planet, let's wreck it!" She stomps on my right leg, hard,and you can hear the bone crack.. The pain is so bad that I begin to see black, and then nothing....

Scientist are baffled by the strange things going on in the small area of Sumter South Carolina. There are large, unidentified creatures running around. Much larger then the average human. All people of the local area are being cautioned to stay inside until the United Stated Government can figure out a solution to this problem. This is very odd indeed and people along with scientists are becoming very concerned because there is another strange thing going on in a world wide view of things. There is a very large planet that has come into view and scientist are not sure why we haven't seen it before. Only a small bit has been clearly seen, but many are wondering if this is where these strange craters have come from. As a reporter I must ask that we do not freak out until further information is given, but caution is advised.

I gasp, amazed that Safae just asked me to be his wife. "I... I... Of course Lord Safae, I'd be honored, will go you be calling the rest of your people to come here?" He nods and leads me up to my throne room, like he's lived here his whole life. She pushes me onto the throne and begins to kiss my neck passionately then....
BANG! The whole ground begins to shake and shudder, and Max comes rushing in. I leap up, startled and afraid. "Max?! What is going on!!!" The look in his eyes tell it all. "My queen, the people of Earth are beginning to believe in Ewababmiz...."

"Oppe, we're gonna need more things to make creatures out of sir, I feel like we could be getting much better results sir." Telli says, his voice annoying me. "Well, that's your field Telli, use whatever, I have tried too many things, King Safae wore me out, but please, if you have questions find me." He walks away with a simple nod.
I found that we could make these creates by taking dna, from a vicious plant from Ovo and injecting it into the DNA of anything with legs? These creatures are highly trainable, but results vary with the different creates you inject the DNA into. The one I sent after Zia was a stray dog at one point, which has worked the best so far, but there's not too many to be found. For the most part we just use squirrels, but trainability is very flawed with them. So now we are just letting the crazy mutant squirrels roam free, which seems to be freaking out the humans well enough. I have been looking at Ewabamiz and it's beginning to shake. Honestly I have no idea why Queen Alice built it on denial of the humans, it's so easy to make these stupid creates believe in it, and then the planet will be no be there...

I wake up to some guy shaking me and splashing water onto my face. My vision is blurry, but I see long dark blonde hair and bright blue eyes. I see Toady behind him and struggle to sit up. "Wow lady! You should lay there for a few more minutes. I'll bring your friend over here, if that's what you want" He hands me the half empty water bottle and goes over to Toady. He picks him up easily and then he plops my best friend next to me
He has a large cut on his forehead, but other then that I can not see any major damage. I splash the rest of the water onto his face and he blubbers and opens his eyes. "Zia?" He asks sounding confused and in pain. "Come on!" I say while struggling to get us to our feet. We struggle off, ignoring the humans calls, and trying to figure out where to go. Then I look at the sky, and my heart sinks. Ewabamiz is almost completely visible...
We find a local shop just up the street, and the owner tells us that the address is just up the street but that it's an abandoned old brick factory, and that he doesn't know why we are so interested in it. It is obvious when we run into it. Its large, with no unbroken windows. There is plants, and garbage littering the building and i rush to the door.
"Oppe! Oppe! You need to stop this! Give me my grandfather back!" The large doors open, and an odd balding man opens the door. "Hello, I got blood from a human, and then used that human as one of my experiments! Isn't that nice? Now, you and your friend follow me." Toady and I enter into the musty smelling room and try not to vomit by the sights and smells.
There are dead animals and people everywhere. Squirrels and dogs, and cats. Many littering the floor warped, and covered in dried blood. There are small looking rooms and the dog like creature that brought me my grandfather ring is standing outside of one of them. Oppe orders the beast away from the door, and throws us into it.

I feel the world shaking and I grab onto Safe and close my eyes. When I open them, I am home.... Home on earth. I'm in my old bedroom, where I used to sleep, and cry, and wonder why I had to be the one to see these creates. My heart sinks, and I just cry and cr. Everything I have worked so hard for is gone... There is no more Ewabamiz. The people of Earth are going to see what I have seen for all my life. There is no way to make my home come back... There is no way to fix this... I pull away from Safae, and rush to the kitchen.
In there are my parents, looking worn and old. My mother sees me and begins to rapidly blink, and then faints. "Alice?" My father gasps. I rush to the knives and he wrestles with me.. "Let me end this!!!" I scream. "You didn't want me anyway!!! LET ME END THIS!!!" Then I realize, how are my parents alive? They should be dead by now, try must be so old.... Or... Ewababmiz was slower than Earth! This thought falters me, and my father pulls me away from the knives... I'm numb, and can't feel anything, other then my fathers hands on me once again....

"Jimmy, you should come in and eat." My wife says to me, but I just nod. I sit outside, and wait. I feel like something big is about to happen. My wife goes back in, and after a few minutes and fairy like created poofs in front of my face. I put out my finger and she lands on it. I finally realize what I have been missing my whole life, the other creates of Earth...
