Yolo peeps! Now starts my first novelization of a game! Hazzah, hazzah! Nayami has not learned her lesson on trying to write multiple stories at once, so please bear with me. Updates will happen when they do, but I'll try to bring out the best of quality no matter how early or late updates come. I already foresee many writer's blocks in the future.... *sigh* Now, enough of my ramblings. Please enjoy my novelization of Tales of Link

Once more. I don't care how many times you are slain, I don't care how many times I have to repeat this. I will return her to the light. I'll wait for you to come. I'll wait for you in the place where we lost everything. I'll wait until I feel his soul emerge in those same ruins. And I'll send him off on his grand adventure.
I feel it. He's finally coming.
"Hey, what is this place. Where am I?"
"It's Lyafise."
Now, shall we begin?
_______________________________________

In these ruins is where my journey began. I had been adventuring for a while before that, but that was before I met him. My best friend, as well as a sprite of the gods, Lippy had tracked down the seed that had sprouted into a ruinator into nearby ruins...

A few weeks ago, the seeds that hold the world and great power fell from the heavens. They are scattered throughout the world and soon spread chaos. The seeds sew sadness and bring ruin to the land, thus earning the name Seeds of Ruin. And when they do sprout into one of those evils, we call them ruinators. And unfortunately, my brother, Caesar, is possessed by one of those ruinators.
Lippy and I have been traveling to try and purify those ruinators, but I don't hold such power. According to Lippy, only one called the Great Savior is capable of such thing.
"Lippy," I say, looking around the abandoned building. "Are you sure my brother is here?"
"I'm positive." Lippy nods. He is the size of a tiny lapdog, with white and brown fur. His head is shaped something like a square and his eyes are covered in fur. He looks like a normal dog, minus the fact that he can fly, talk, and has a tiny foreign object around his neck.
"This time." I nod. "I will find this Great Savior and save my brother!"
"I do hope so, Lady Sara." Lippy says. "For now, head deeper in. I'm picking up a reading of a ruinator."
I draw my blade from my hip. Heading deeper into the ruins, I slash at any monster who dared attack me. I lean over to catch my breath. I may be a well trained swordswoman, but one must get tired at some point. A slight scuffle comes from around the corner. Lippy looks at me and nods. I press my back against the wall, listening at the footsteps growing closer and closer. I hold my breath, hearing the sound round the corner, before launching myself at them. They went down easier than I expected, letting me pin them to the ground and hold my sword to their neck.
"Lady Sara!" Lippy cries. "Don't attack!"
I blink at the person at my sword's tip. It's a young man around my age. His messy brown hair goes well with his long, blue and white shirt, and black pants. A rainbow coloured stone the size of a small pebble hangs around his neck on a chain. A sword is strapped to his belt, but it looks old and unused. He is covered in minor wounds as well as caked in dirt in some places.
"Oh gods!" I cry, lifting myself off of the man. "I am so sorry!"
"I think you might have killed him." Lippy says.
"Don't even joke about that!" I snap, leaning down and placing my head on his chest. His pulse is weak.
"Lippy! Get my healing gel from my pack!" I order, pulling my bed roll from my backpack.
I unroll the bed roll and carefully drag the man on it. Lippy hands me the gooey glob of gel. He helps me undo the latches on the man's light armour, revealing a rather large cut on his chest. His shirt is soaked in blood.
"Oh dear." Lippy sighs. "Should I mix up some medicine?"
I nod, while applying some gel to the man's minor wounds. "Please do. There is some spare wood in the backpack's side pocket."
Lippy starts the fire behind me, as I finished healing his minor wounds and cover him with my blanket.
"What do you think he was doing in these ruins?" I ask, leaning on an opposing wall.
"I don't know." Lippy shrugs, flying over with a small bowl balanced in his paws.
"His weapon looks unused." I note. "It would be pretty reckless to not use it."
The sound of the bowl clattering to the floor makes me whip my head around and look at Lippy. He is trembling, backing away from the man slowly.
"Lippy?" I ask. "What it it?"
"Sara!" Lippy yells, whirling around and grabbing my shirt. "He's the one! He's the Great Savior we've been looking for!"
Excitement grows in my chest. "Seriously?! How do you know?"
Lippy flies over to the man and gently picked up the stone around his neck. "This stone is called a Hero Stone. It summons the strength of heros of past and present and enables the caster to fight with the power of heros. It's called stonecasting, and only the Great Savior is said to have this power."
"That's why he doesn't have to use his sword." I say, realization sitting in. "He doesn't need one when he can summon heroes."
A soft groan comes from the man. I crawl over next to him, and lean over his head. His eyelids flutter before his eyes slowly open. I hold back a gasp. His eyes! They shine with rainbow colours, just like his Hero Stone. The stone itself is pretty, but seeing the colours in his eyes..... it's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. He opens his mouth before letting out a dry cough.
"Oh!" I cry, peeling my eyes away from his beautiful ones. "Here! Drink some water."
He takes tiny sips from my waterskin and lets out a small sigh when he is done.
"Are you okay?" I ask.
The Great Savior nods, opening his mouth before closing it.
"What were you doing here?"
His brows furrow together like he is trying to remember. His mouth moves the tiniest bit, before he shakes his head.
"Can you talk?" I ask, my worry growing.
He lets out another dry cough. "Y-yes." He says in a soft, slightly broken voice.
I let out a relieved sigh. "That's good. I'm Sara by the way."
Instead of taking my outstretched hand, he shifts so he is sitting on his knees and bows politely. "A-arrigoto... Sara."
"And I'm Lippy!" Lippy chirps from atop my head. "It would have never imagined the Great Savior to speak the ancient language! How exciting!"
The Great Savior's eyes widen, and says in a very small voice. "Your dog just spoke."
I let out a laugh. "Yes, well Lippy is a sprite, not a dog."
"It see." The Great Savior says.
"What's your name?" I ask. "I don't want to just call you Great Savior."
"Bokuwa...." He trails off. "I... I don't know."
Lippy floats around his head, making the Savior fidget. "Oh dear. It seems the Savior has a case of amnesia!"
The Great Savior nods, looking down at his hands. "I... woke up in these ruins and.... I don't know who I was nor what I was doing in the first place."
"I see..." I say, quietly. "I'm sorry."
He shakes his head. "It's no big deal. And plus, if I hadn't lost my memories, I would have never met you guys."
I smiled, making him grin. This guy's has optimism. Turning my head, I look away from his mesmerizing eyes. Dear gods he is handsome.
"Well." I say, standing up. "I am going to go scout ahead and try to find the ruinator."
"Matte!" The Savior says, hastily getting up. "I'll come too. It's my job to purify the seeds."
Lippy jumps up and down with glee. "Even with amnesia, you still have a strong sense of justice! Ooh, I think I'm in love!"
"Lippy, you're a boy." I say, a little edge in my voice. "Come on, let's pack up."
The Great Savior attempts to help pack up our makeshift camp, and is blushing madly as he tries to roll my bedroll. I nod my thanks once we finish, and turn to head back down the hall.
"Sara." He says, stopping me in my tracks. "I remember my name."
"Really?" I say, excitedly. "What is it?"
The Great Savior bows slightly. "Bokuwa Suzukaze des. Just Kaze is fine."
"Suzukaze!" Lippy gushes. "Such a strong name to match the Savior!"
I smile, "Well nice to meet you, Kaze. Are you ready for an adventure?"

I do realize this part is not the same as the game but the Savior just apprears. Like, they literally start the story with a fight scene and the Savior is just... there. It kinda ticked me off a bit. I also never realized how hard it is making up lines for Kaze. He's mute the entire game so this is gonna be fun making his personality! I mean he's practically a statue the entire time! Anyway, before anyone bashes me about Kaze's eyes, yes I do know they are blue. But I honestly think that's kinda boring. Besides his stone, how the heck are people supposed to know he's the Savior? I also just liked the idea of him having rainbow colored eyes. One last note: for those of those who actually know Japanese, do forgive Nayami for her upcoming mistakes and spelling errors that are sure to come. I'm still crawling in papers of research on the Japanese language... T-T I apologize for the long AN. I promise they won't be as long...
