"Nia let's go." Kenzie said, yelling at her friend.
"I'm coming, I'm coming, geez Kenz." Nia replied.
Nia and Kenzie wore matching Aqua crop tops with Jean shorts and black vans. They walked to school together and entered the campus. They were in the same grade because Mackenzie skipped 1 year level and Nia enrolled late. They headed into Calculus where Nia was greeted by her boyfriend, Nick Dobbs. He was a former member of the ALDC. "How I wish I had a boyfriend like Nick." Mackenzie muttered to herself.
"Hey Kenz." Nick said as he gave Kenzie a hug. Nick and Kenzie were always close as friends and not romantically. "Kenzie I was wondering if you would go to panera bread with Lucas." Nick asked. Mackenzie looked at Nick with a puzzled expression on her face. "Lucas was to shy to ask." Nick followed seeing Mackenzie's expression. "Lucas? As in Lucas Triana?" Kenz asked. "Yup. Lucas Triana." Nick nodded. "Well sure then." Mackenzie replied. "Wait when is it?" Mackenzie followed up. "Tonight for dinner." "Okay tell him I'll see him there. Bye." Kenzie said to Nick who was walking away.
After a few classes and lunch break it was 3:00 pm. Lucas texted Mackenzie earlier in the day telling her that he would pick her up at 6:00 pm. Kenzie and nia walked home and nia squealed. "Oh my goodness." Nia squealed. "My little Kenzie Boo is going on a date." Nia continued. "Gee Nia." Kenzie replied. "I'll help you get ready." Nia said.
Nia helped Mackenzie into a black dress with a thin gold belt, gold shoes and a gold clutch. Nia crimped Kenzie's hair and added foundation, concealer, blush, bronzer, mascara and did a smokey eye effect. After about 5 minutes the bell rang. Nia went to open it.
"Yes?" Nia said
"Hi I'm.............."
