"Hi I'm Lucas." Lucas said curtly.
"Yes I know who you are. Mackenzie should be home by 10 and if you ever hurt her, consider yourself dead. If you even attempt to touch her, you are also dead, understand?" Nia said before smiling, seeing the shocked boy's expression. A few moments later Kenzie came down and the duo drove to Panera bread.
"I'll have Mac and cheese in a bread bowl." Kenzie said.
"And I'll have a grilled cheese, please." Lucas said.
"Okay. I'll be back in 10 minutes with your food." The waitress replied.
After dinner they headed back home and Mackenzie went straight to bed. The following morning Kenzie got up and got dressed in high waisted black shorts and a pink flows top and black vans. She ate breakfast which was an English muffin with ham, egg and cheese. She drove to school and attended her classes.
