"I'm not ready for this Aarav."
A sudden hurt of being rejected flashed in his eyes but he overshadowed it with his smile.

"Its ok Aditi, I'll wait for you, I can wait for you, you know, forever." Aarav reverted with a smile and a kiss on her forehead and without a backward glance went straight out of her room.

I wouldn't have stopped him, Aditi thought. He felt rejected, she saw the hurt in his eyes. It wasn't like he didn't worth it, Aditi wasn't ready to consummate their relationship. She wanted it to be special. She wanted to wait till their marriage.

Next Morning

Aditi woke up little early only to make breakfast for Aarav. It would be kind a apology for being rude last night as per her thinking.

"Sonia da, what's up with smell?
Are you cooking an Indian dish?" Aarav shouted from the lobby. Aditi could easily hear his footsteps. He stopped dead in track when he saw Aditi in the kitchen.

"Aditi, what are you doing here?
Where is Sonia da?", Aarav asked her in a serious tone.

Before Aditi could answer, door bell rang. "I'll go", Aarav quickly turned around and walked up to the door.

"Aditi, somebody has sent these flowers for you", Aarav told Aditi while examining the bouquet.

"These are for you", Aditi reverted with a smile.

"For me?", Aarav questioned raising his eyebrow.
"Ah ha", Aditi nodded.

"And for what exactly?"
Aditi strides towards Aarav slowly, she leaned in and kissed Aarav on his lips.
Aarav was taken aback by the gesture but his grin returned.

"Not that I'm complaining but what was the kiss for?"

"An apology, I know whatever happened last night, we're sort of getting married soon and its eventually gonna happen but I wasn't just..." Aarav palms her mouth to make her quite.

"Geesh woman, stop talking, I'm not mad at you that you're apologising. You haven't done anything wrong, yeah I felt rejected first but I understood after giving it a thought and I'll wait, I'll wait even after marriage, I'll wait until you're ready."
Aarav kisses her forehead and hugged her warmly.

Aditi's phone beeped in her Jean's pocket. Aditi took out to see Aaliya was calling. She excused herself from Aarav and all the guest.

"Yes Aaliya?"
"You freaking girl, you don't have a single minute to talk to your best friend", Aaliya shouted through her phone.
"Calm your horses Aaliya"
"I'll not, anyway where are you? What's up with that boring tune in the background?", Aaliya asked curiously.
"Nothing I'm in a Masquerade Ball with Aarav, one of our clients invited us."

"Oh! So had you finally got a chance to meet THE SHAHRUKH KHAN?"

"Yes!, I mean I would've never thought that Aarav would propose me like this, fulfilled one of the most precious dreams. I'm so happy."

"Do you love him?"

"What kind of question is that?"
Aditi nervously asked.

"Aditi.." somebody called her from behind.
She turned around only to see Aryaman standing there.

"I'll call you later Aaliya, I have to go, bye", Aditi hung up the phone and walked in his direction.

"Aryaman, hi! Nice to see you again."

"The feeling is mutual darling."

Aditi got little confused at his words. Sure Aryaman was a nice guy but something was telling her that something was not right. The vibrations she was getting from him was so negative. She cringed at the the thought.

"So Aditi, how are you?"
"I'm fine as always."
"I heard you are engaged to Aarav Vashisht?"
"You heard it right, I am."
"Oh!, congratulations then, I hope you've told your little secret about your family to him" He smirked. He knew he got the right nerve.

"What do you?", Aditi stumbled at her words.
