As Riley rushed into the ladies room, she found Maya crouched and sitting against the green stalls.

" Peaches, tell me what's wrong, " Riley placed herself besides Maya and began to listen,

" I'm not upset over what Missy said, I mean I can take her down any day but it's just what Lucas said and I don't know it gave me a better view. "

" A better view of what? "

Maya sighed as she thought what was going through her head,

" Him saying those things made me get this weird feeling, and I'm probably making sound like a big deal but— "

" Peaches, take your time, you're probably too overwhelmed to think straight, are you okay? "

" Yea yea, and if a guy suddenly takes interests in us we'll won't have to use Missy. "

They stood up and embraced each other with a hug and left the stalls to very confused faces but a really worried Lucas.

It had been 11:34pm when Maya's window creaked and finally th glass was knocked on. Hesitantly she grabbed her self defense bag and peered through,

Startled to see a boy shirt boy jump inside the room.

" Jheeze, you scared me, for the second time! "
" Whoops! "

Maya's appereance was her wearing an oversized t-shirt and some short jogger shorts along the messiest bun on top of her head, she looked like a mess.

" So about what happened today, "

She'd been trying to avoid this conversation all day, that's why she wouldn't answer all the texts and calls except for Riley's.

" I'm sorry for lashing it at Missy even though she deserved it, and I'm pretty sure you hate me because I promised you I woul—" She had interrupted him in mid-sentence due to her confusion,

" I could never hate you hopalong, I'm actually grateful that you were there for me. So thank you, "

And with that she embraced him into a a tight warm hug to which he responded.

The same feeling she felt earlier wa scoring back but it was coming back harder.
