Ava's POV

I woke up this morning feeling like total crap, but I knew I had to go to school for two reasons. One: I'm terrible at school. Always have been and probably always will. Two: If there one thing I know, it is that there is no way that my best friend Abby could survive in that place alone...someone has to keep her out of trouble. And that person is NOT Brianna.

After a few minutes of doing nothing but laying in my bed I decide to drag my self out of it. When I'm up I walk over to my closet to pick out my outfit for today. After a good 10-15 minutes of looking I finally found my outfit. I put on my black Nike running pants, black Nike sports bra, gray Nike workout tank-top, gray Nike hoodie, and my black and white Nike free runs. [picture above] As soon as I finished getting dressed I went to the bathroom and did my little routine. I brushed my teeth and hair, after I plugged  in my flat iron and straitened my hair. When my hair was strait I put it into a high ponytail. When I thought I looked some what presentable I walked down stairs for breakfast.

"Hey mom" I said as I jogged into the kitchen.

" hey baby. You hungry" she asked smiling but never looking up from the stove where she was cooking.

"Starved" I replied with a tiny chuckle.

"Well here, go on and eat up, I don't want you to be late for school" she responded placing a plate in front of me.

"Okay" I said laughing. "Hey, mom. Where's dad" I asked when I finally noticed he wasn't in the room, even though I probably knew the answer.

"Your father left early for work " she told me shaking her head and letting out a sigh.

"No surprise there. I mean he's only done that for the past two years now".I thought to myself.

"Oh" I said looking down at my plate.

"Honey, I know you wish your dad could be here more. But, he has to work" mom said coming over and sitting down on the stool beside me.

"I know, I just don't understand why somebody has to go to work early everyday for the past two years strait" I replied feeling guilty for feeling this way, but I mean come on...a girl needs her father.

" um, mom I'm done can you drive me to school now" I asked her changing the subject.

"Of course honey, let's go" mom answered grabbing her keys and walking to the car.

————————————————————

Im not going to lie to you the car ride to school was really silent. Which got weird because it takes 20 minutes to get to the school from my house. Let's just say I was happy to arrive at the school yard...wow, never thought I say those words.

When I got out of the car I watched mom drive away, soon the car disappeared around the corner so I turned around only to see my two best friends in the whole world Abigail Johnson and Brianna Holton.

"Hey Avanna" my Latina friend Abby said as I walked up to them.

"Ew, gross Abby, you know I hate my birth name." I said playfully glaring at her.

"Yaeh. Abby thats why we came up with the nike-names" Bri said rolling her eyes.

"Come on say them with me" I replied laughing.

"Bri, Abby, and Ava" we all said together causing us all to laugh.

"Well well well, if it isn't miss aconna and her woo coo clan" head bitch said with bitch 2 and 3 following behind her.

"Um, excuse me her name is Avanna" Abby responded walking forward resulting in me putting my arm in front of her.

"Is it" Dylan said pretending to be shocked.

"Yes" bri said coming to stand beside me.

"No. I don't think it is" Dylan replied shoving me to the ground.

"Okay, THATS IT" I yelled jumping back up on my feet.

"Listen her Dylan,  I am Latina and crazy, and I am NOT in the mood for it today k? So why don't you and your Barbie doll fake ass bitches get out of my face!!" I yelled completely shocked at what had come out of my mouth. Normally I am completely calm but when she pushed me it's like my patients went out the door.

After I said that Dylan scoffed and went
Inside the building her barbies following.

"Avanna" Bri said looking completely shocked. I shrugged and looked over to Abby.

"YEAH!! LOOKA HERE YALL AVANNA'S LATINA'S KICKING IN"  she screamed to the top of her lungs.

"Shhh" bri and I  both whisper yelled walking inside the building on our way to first pireod.

(8 hours later)

"hey guys you want to come over today" I asked as we walked out the double doors to the school.

"Yeah" they both said in unison causing me to chuckle.

( 20 minutes later)

"Ava, who's car is that" Abby asked taping me in the shoulder and pointing to the black car in the drive way.

"I have no idea" I said looking at them confused as we walked through the door.

"MAMI I'm home" I yelled closing the door.

"In here" she replied from in the living room.

We walked in and I saw this women with her back facing me.

"Poppy, who's that" I asked as the lady turned around. I came face to face with THE Lana Parrilla. I was frozen.

Lana's POV

I was in the house where my daughter lived talking to her adopted parents when I heard...

"MAMI I'm home" and the sound of a door closing.

As soon as Avanna asked her dad who I was I turned around and couldn't help but stare at her. She looked like me.  Black shoulder length hair chocolate brown eyes olive skin. I was shocked.

"Um, hello" Avanna said breaking the silence.

"Hey" I replied kinda nervous.

"Ava, this is Lana Parrilla" Melanie said gesturing towards me.

"I know. Why is she here" she asked looking between me Melanie and Thomas.

"Go on, tell her Melanie" Thomas said.

"Tell me what" Avanna asked

"Ava honey, Lana is your...." Melanie paused.

"My what" Ava asked growing in-patient

"Your birth mom" she finished and closed her eyes.

"MY WHAT!!" She yelled with her eyes growing big.

"Um, so we're gonna go" a girl with jet black hair said. And a brown haired girl nodding her head in agreement.

"No, you don't have to" Avanna said looking at them.

"I know Ava, but I think we need to" the brown haired girl replied to Ava's statement.

"Okay" she said as they walked out the door.

"Ava dear, I was talking to your parents and....would you like to come live with me" I asked her getting right to the point.

She looked at her parents as if to ask permission.

"Its up to you honey" Melanie replied.

"Okay, let's do this" Ava said and with that she went up stairs to pack her bags.

I finally have my daughter back.
