I was tackled by Austin and Nathan. Growls were heard all around me.

"Where the bloody hell have you been! We were worried sick! Why in the bloody hell do we have new pack mates?"

"Austin, calm down. It's a long story but, I trust them. There was only a minor problem and I took care of him."

"Go on North." I responded to my wolf. It was extremely rare to be able to talk with you wolf but, I am a walking exception to all rules related to being a werewolf.

"Is there a chance I can take them in?"

"Hey, boys. We have a slight problem." There were four go on with its.

"Rouges. The bad, very, very bad kind. The kind that kill anyone and everyone that looks tasty to them."

"What are we to do Alpha?" Came fourth the voice of my Beta, Austin.

"Take everyone to the Royal's safe house. Warn the Alpha King about the rouges. No one is to stay with me, I will distract the rouges long enough for 'y'all to get to safety."

"No Alicia! You will not pull your heroic shit and get yourself injured or killed. Because we know that you have the need to protect everyone with your life, not giving two fucks about what happens to you in the process. Do you know how lucky you were to live after your last stunt! We are not leaving you! We have enough rouges to fight them off with ease! You have no need to put your life in danger!"

" Nathan! As much as I wouldn't have seen that coming from you, you of all people know why! NO ONE is staying with me! I know what these wolves are capable of and I will not expose that to my pack! GO NOW !"
My Alpha command was the strongest I had used on the pack. I was never one for being harsh but, I will not allow my pack to get hurt in any form or fashion. I blame not only my Alpha genes but my past.

Nathan's wolf's eyes flashed with hurt. I felt a pang in my chest, we were best friends I hated hurting him. I would rather hurt his feeling and have him forgive me than have him physically hurt. I don't even want a scratch on him.

" I'm sorry."

" Follow us." Austin and Nathan said simultaneously through the link.

The pack took off running fast as they could in the direction of the castle the Royal's consider a small safe house. Considering their pack house was twice the size and the Alpha's and higher pack ranked members castle was three times as big as the pack house.

I ran towards the nasty smell known as rouges.

"How many North?"

I stopped just before the woods turned into a small clearing. What is with these woods and clearings?
