Rejected At First Sight

Avery's POV

me and Iris had just made it to school on time, we had to hurry and once we got to homeroom the bell rang, once in homeroom Mrs. Caroline was asking the alpha how his weekend was, as to which he was replying, i had put my hand up and quietly asked to be excused as to which she unwillingly let me leave.

as i was walking to the bathroom i heard moans and groans coming from the janitors...gross...they need to get a soundproof room. i had rushed back to homeroom not wanting to take longer than i already had, the rest of the day was boring, once home me and Iris had to clean the whole pack house.

the next 4 days flew past and before i knew it, it was my birthday, i had awoken early and decided to wake Iris up so we can get breakfast done early.

"Iris, come on, lets get up now before everyone wakes up and surprise them with a buffet, it could ease they beating we get" i stated quickly

"yeah sure" she replied, getting up, we made our way down to the kitchen and got to work on breakfast. we had made pancakes, bacon, sausages, waffles and all sorts of food, which by time we had finished,everyone had awoke with the smell of food and we walked back to our room and got changed

"Avery?" Iris asked

"yeah Iris" i replied

"Happy Birthday" she says

"thank you, it means a lot" i reply sincerely. we started to make our way downstairs and we see that the alpha wasn't their, so we went up to the beta...my father

"um sir" we asked timidly

"what do you want peasants" he glared

"we were wondering if it were possible that we could leave for school now" i asked quietly

"sure whatever i don't care" he says, "thank you sir" iris replied and we soon left for school not knowing what was going to happen...

*at school*

i had gotten into a conversation about mates with iris...it wasn't pleasant

" who do you think your mate is?" she asked

"i have no idea, I'm scared to find out as well" i replied walking ahead, i was then pulled into the toilets by the alpha...joyyyys

"no...it cant be you, your weak, fat, your not fit to be Luna" he mumbled, that's when i realized he was my mate...
