Day of Hurricane

The next day wasn't anything exciting. In fact it wasn't exciting at all because they said it was going to rain so we had to stay inside. I decided to just walk around some. Sooner or later something told me to go to the room and spend time with my family.

After a few hours I heard a big loud thunder clap. It is the loudest I have ever heard it before. I went to our room balcony and looked ahead. We were under a big ,when I say big I mean huge, thunder cloud. Hail started to fall the size of baseballs. Either there was going to be a tornado witch couldn't happen or it was a...

Hurricane.

I journeyed into the hallway and realized that everyone was freaking out. Without thinking I went to the captains deck and saw him talking to some worried passengers. He soon finished and I ran to him.

"What's going on?" I asked

"We are fine there is nothing to worry about."

"Look sir, I am not a regular passenger. I am not a person that will believe that everything is okay after seeing that hail the size of baseball's falling from the sky. Now will you please tell me what's going on?" I yelled slilently. He sighed and started to explain.

"There is a hurricane coming. Fast. We can go faster but we could run out of things we need. If we do manage to get out of the storm we will be stranded out here until someone finds us."

"We need to go faster. I rather be stranded in the ocean then to be hit by a hurricane and I don't know sink like the titanic." I sighed. "But your the captain and if you want everyone do die on this ship then fine. Have it your way." I turned and walked away without another word but before I could exit the room the boat shook and I fell. I quickly got up and ran to my room which was all the way across the ship. I got halfway there but before I could keep going the boat rocked back and forth really hard and I almost went over the edge. What happened next happened to soon. The boat got caught in the waves and tipped over slowly.

Day One》

My eyes fluttered open. I was sore. I know it was bad idea to try to get up but I tried anyway. I got up in a push-up position. I got half way and fell back to the floor. I looked around at my unfamiliar surroundings making sure not to make any sudden movements. I was so not on the cruise anymore.

How did even get here?

All of the occasions started to flood back to memory.

Cruise. Hurricane. Sank. My family...dead.

After a few minutes of trying to get up, I finally managed to do so and started to walk around. I looked around at my surroundings.

I was on a beach. Behind me was a big forest. I was on an island and a lot people probably think I'm dead. Okay mabey the whole world thinks I'm dead.

My mind went imeadiatly went to survival skills. My father had taught me how to survive in the wild. Even though I never really paid attention. I do remember something's. Such as building a shelter. How to make a fire. Knowing what things to eat and not to eat. Mostly simple things to remember. I guess the first thing to do is build a shelter but where? I know he told me one time. Wow I really should've listened to him. I went into the woods and picked up some huge limbs that fell. Once I gathered more than enough I went back to the beach. I set the logs down when I found a place to build it. Before o began there was something in the water that caught my eye. I went to go see what it was and found out it was things from the ship. I made a list of everything I had.

1. Rope
2. Scissors
3. Fishing pole
4. Flares
5. Flare gun
6. Small packages of food
7. Bait
8. Soap
9. Bed sheets (very wet)
10. My mothers favorite necklace.

I wrote the last one down slowly. The necklace was given to my mother when she was eighteen. She said she would give it to me on my eighteenth birthday which was in a couple days. I guess I can wait.

Two long hours passed and I put the last necessities on my shelter. Tomorrow I'll worry about everything else. I walked into my small living space and sat down on the leaves I placed inside. I lied my head down to sleep but before I could go into the sleeping state I remembered something else my dad taught me. How to make a diary. I can write down everything I know and learn so I can teach things people never thought of. This could change a lot of things.

I closed my eyes and dreamed of a better a day.

It might be awhile for the next chapter because I'm going through a rough time so it will probably every few days. Also I didn't have time to edit so if it has any mistakes don't be shy to comment about them.
