Your POV
It was a miracle that you made it out of the house unnoticed. You always went to school early so you wouldn't have to see your parents and get some last minute bruises before first period. But making it to school in the first place was amazing on it's own.
You loved your school's A Capella group. You were practically in charge since your Sophomore year. But for right now, you were in charge of t-shirts. And that was extremely important.
When you got to school, you dashed to the music room. Grabbing the order forms from the instructor, you laid down on the couch and got working before everyone arrived. Mr. Carter walked in after you, setting up the bored for his first hour.
The A Capella club -- The Chords Of Illusion, or Illusions -- met every morning before and after school. And without a ride to school, it was hard to get there on time. But you loved the Illusions and you refused to let anything get you down.
After filling out some parts of the t-shirt forms, you put on some quick makeup in the big mirror and got back to work.
Soon, The Illusions walked in one by one. They said hello to you and started warming up. You were soon attacked by Amanda, your best friend. "Hey!" She says, giving you a hug from the side.
Mr. Carter walks back into the room with a kid you have never seen before. The kids sits down in one of the chairs in the back near you and Amanda.
"Ok. So I need your opinion. Do you want a solid color t-shirt, or tie-dye?" You ask. "Why don't you just take a vote?" Amanda asks then proceeds to stand up.
"Everyone shut up! We need your opinion!" She exclaims. All heads turn to look at you and Amanda. You stand up with the papers in hand and walk to the front of the room.
"Good morning!" You say cheerily. "Hi Mom!" They say in unison. Everyone had nicknames and yours just so happened to be mom. We'll get to that later.
"Ok. As you all know, our last fundraiser was a complete success." You pause to let them all cheer. "And last week we decided on purchasing new t-shirts with our names on them. So! We need to have a vote. Would you rather have a solid color, or tie-dye?" You ask. Everyone starts screaming different things at once, making you laugh.
"Chill please! Good. So, who wants a solid color t-shirt?" No one raised their hands. The Illusions were too crazy for one color. "Great! Tie-dye it is! So there will be a sheet by the door, and before you leave put the name you want on it along with your shirt size. And we will discuss a day when we can get together and tie-dye." You say.
Mr. Carter walks over with some more papers and gives them to you with a smile.
You look them over with a confused expression. "We have a transfer student this semester and he was interested in joining. The least we can do is give him an audition." Mr. Carter tells you before going back to his desk.
"Your shirts on backwards!" Someone shouts. You look down to see that your shirt was in fact on backwards. "It's called fashion! Look it up!" The room erupts with laughter. You start to take your shirt off to fix it. The same kid that told you about your shirt, started wolf whistling.
"Yea. You'd like that wouldn't you." You smirk. You had a tank top underneath your shirt in case this happened. And it has many times before.
"So on that note! We have a transfer student this semester and he was interested in joining. And if I'm not mistaken, he is here right now..." You trail off, looking t'words Mr. Carter. He nods.
