Daniel stood near his father and mother as he told them about the beautiful mermaid he saw. They looked at him like a fool. The king and queen did not believe in mermaids.
"This is a joke.",The king said
"No I saw one sit on a rock staring at the sunset.",Daniel said
"It was probably another peasant girl praying to her God.",The Queen said
"No she had a tail. A scaly one.",Daniel said
"Probably a fool dressed up to trick you.",The queen said
"Probably.",The king said and laughed
"You never believed me.",Daniel said
