The fight

****2 days later***

Emma's pov- i got outta bed and put on an outfit (pic above) and added some black ripped leggings. I went in the bathroom and put my hair up in a pony tail and straightened it. I put on some light makeup. I put eyeliner on my water line, some matte red lipstick and nude eyeshadow.I ran downstairs and told my mom i was going out to hang out with my best friend Josh. I checked my phone and i had 3 texts from Jacob and two from Josh. I opened Jacobs first.

Jacob: good morning beautiful have a great day!

Jacob: i love you

Jacob: wake up already!

I replied back.

Me: awe i love you too! And I'm awake now.

Then i opened my messages from josh.

Josh:Hey Emma!

Josh: ready to go to the skate park today?

I replied back.

Me: I'm ready! See you in 10!

After i finished texting him i grabbed my beats, penny board and wallet. I walked outside and penny boarded to the bus stop. I stopped and checked my phone.

2 new messages from josh.

Josh: change of plans...

Josh: meet me at Starbucks.

Me: okay be there in 5!

I met josh 9 years ago when we were five. I was at the park and my kindergarten bully pushed me off the slide. He helped me up and pushed her in the sandbox, getting her dress covered in sand. We both laughed and walked away talking. He said"Oh um, hi my names is Josh." And i replied with,"Sup Josh my name is Emma wanna be best friends?" And thats how we met.

I got to Starbucks and he was outside the door waiting with a cotton candy frappe and a Carmel latte. He loves those and he knows i love cotton candy frappe's. He handed me the cotton candy frappe. I hugged him. I've missed you so much!

Josh had became an exchange student for a year in Australia and this is the first time I've seen him since.

********way there skipped*******

We got to the skate park and i hopped on my penny board,I did a couple flips and stuff then attempted the huge ramp. I flipped and fell off. Then i felt someone's arms around me keeping me from hitting the ground. I looked up and it was Josh! His eyes looked so worried. I got up and so did he and after about 3 hours we went back home.

Josh walked me up to the steps and hugged me and said goodbye. I grab my key and open the door. I walk inside and see Jacob and Autumn making out on the couch! I screamed. They both said"it's not what it looks like!" This is the second time Jacobs cheated on me and I'm done with it! I told jacob we were through and i ran upstairs and locked my door shut.

I grabbed my phone and called Josh to come pick me up. He told me it would be about an hour but i said that was okay.

****trigger warning****

I was packing 3 suitcases full of all my clothes and things i would need for a while when i came across a small white box. I opened it and saw my razors. I haven't used these since i met jacob. I took one out and cut my wrist 6 times.

1 for dating jacob
2 for being autumns sister
3 for jacob cheating the first time
4 for jacob cheating the second time
5 for being ugly, unwanted and useless
6 for doing this to myself

I ran to mine and autumns bathroom and grabbed a white washcloth. I wet it and held it on the cuts. Once they stopped bleeding i wrote a letter to autumn. I wrote this is your fault
on it. I put my razor on the washcloth and set the note beside it. I grabbed a black cardigan and put that on.

I grabbed my suitcase and looked at my room. It looked so plain. I picked up the suitcases and ran downstairs to the door and josh was here. He grabbed two bags and we went to his moms car. We put the bags in the trunk then i realized i left my phone inside. I told josh and i ran back to get it. I grabbed it off the counter and yelled at autumn "I hate you and i always will! Now i know really why mom put you up for adoption!" I slammed the door shut with tears now streaming down my face.

I ran to the car and got in the back seat with josh. He wiped my tears and grabbed my wrists. I flinched in pain. He looked at me and pulled up my sleeve. Josh knows that since i was 11 I've cut myself under extreme pressure. He hugged me tightly. I buried my face into his chest and cried. He rubbed my back and whispered in my ear: its gonna be alright.

****after getting into Josh's house and unpacking into one of the guests rooms****

Josh's mom had called my mom and told her i was gonna be living with them for the next few years until i was 18 and could move out. Josh told me that i shouldn't have said that to autumn. I looked and him, smirked and said
"She deserved it though."
