I have to be honest. The school was impressive. Mai and I have been walking around the school, looking at the classroms, the cafeteria, and the whole school in general. We met a bunch of other students.
As we walked back to the dorm, we suddenly heard music. Someone was playing the violin inside the room near us. Curiosity washed all over me, and I stepped into the room where the music was coming. Mai followed, and we were inside the theater. It was very beautiful, and reminded me of La Scala, a theater in Milan, Italy.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Mai said, as if reading my mind.
"The theater or the music?" I asked.
"Both." She replied.
Then, who ever was playing, started playing the violin even louder and much more beautiful. I couldn't think straight. My whole body wanted to go and dance.
"Hey, Mai? Wanna dance?" I asked her enthusiastically.
"To the violin?" She asked. I nodded, and she said yes! I took her hand and hoped on the stage. I listened to the song, finding it's beat.
I begin gracefully, with my eyes closed. As the song goes on, my movements become feelings, making me look like a true ballerina. Maiko is next to me, dancing my choreography.
We dance the whole song, and when we end, a sound of applause begins. I open my eyes, and see many people in the theater. Since I set foot on campus, I wanted everyone to see me dance, and now, a lot of people have. I blush, and I see Maiko blushing too.
We bowed, and jumped off the stage. Everyone stood up, still clapping, and smiling at us. As we left the theater, I heared everyone leave. I guess they just wanted to see us. We looked at each other, and laughed. I couldn't believe I danced in front of many students and teachers, and maybe some of them dancers.
"Hey! You two!" Someone yelled. Maiko and I turned around and saw a girl, about our age. She was holding a case with her. Then, I noticed that she had a bag with her, filled with music sheets. She must be the person who was playing the violin. She had dark, brown hair, with teal blue hair tips. She had bangs, and wore glasses.
"Yes?" Maiko asked, surprised by the violinist.
"You were at the theater dancing to my violin, right?" She said.
"Yeah. We did. Did it bother you?" I asked.
"No. Actually, I wanted to tell you that you dance very well. You made my song complete."
"Wow. Thanks! You play lovely the violin. What's the name of your song?" I asked.
"It's called Transcendence, and it's not mine. It's by Lindsey Stirling." She said, blushing.
"Well, you made it sound beautiful."
"Say, what's your name?" Mai asked the blushing violinist.
"Luna Carter. You?"
"I'm Grace De Rege."
"And I am Maiko Yukimura. Nice to meet you."
She smiled at us. We chatted for a while, and we ended up exchanging phone numbers. And I was very glad to hear that she was a few dorms down ours. I guess you can say we became instant friends.
